I’ve loved every book in the Logan McKenna series! And this one is amazing as well! The twists and turns always keep me on my toes and I love that when I read. I want to be on edge and having the NEED to know what happens next…and this series does that for me. If you want to get lost in a incredible story..read this as well as the other books in this series! They’re all phenomenal!

I just loved this cover 🥰 I was also looking forward to meeting Logan’s daughter that’s been in Africa 😍
Jasper has a sea otter centre and Amy and Logan help look after the little orphan they rescued and I think it was good for them to bond over this precious little bundle of fur , the centre is situated on prime property and it would seem someone is after it and wants it and is not afraid of taking any means to get their hand on it ..,,
A storm of epic proportions is heading to jasper and when I say storm I mean in more ways than one ….. arriving for her shift Logan comes upon a gruesome discovery, one volunteer is dead and another is holding on by a thread and worst of all her daughter is missing as is the rescue centres raft and my heart just about stopped as a mom and a reader 🙈my nerves were on edge !
Te fight is on to find Amy because either way she’s in serious danger …. Out of the 3 books I’ve read so far this has been my favourite
Each book is better than the previous and that’s a promising sign for what is still to come 🥰
Having read the first book in the series I was rather eager to start the next book and I think this my very well be the case for each book ! I get so excited when a book grabs me from the very first moment and it’s even more of a treat when I know it’s a series and there’s more to follow it almost feels like a never needing gift 🤣😉❣️📚
We left Logan at the end of the last book exploring a new relationship and it was good to see how that was developing and there were some tense moments as well , after everything that she’s been through I think a break is in order and she heads to Portland …
While in Portland there’s an explosion at a Vietnamese food truck , Logan knew the the old lady that perished in the explosion and the people who owned the truck and my heart hurt for these people , they’re trying to make a living and survive and then this happens and just to put the cherry on top the police suspect the truck owner 🥲🙈
What I did appreciate and want to commend the author for is how she broached subjects that many see as taboo but she looked at these topics from all angles and different perspectives which in turn made me see things in a different light 🙏
Also fair warning eat before you read this otherwise you’ll be left drooling and craving 🤣🙈
All in all a brilliant read that tick all my boxes 😉

This is book #7. There is happy news for Logan McKenna but will it be short lived due to financial insecurities? Join Logan as she heads back to Oregon for a consulting gig while trying to figure out the profitable viral video that was created by a student. Logan of course always finds a dead body in every story. This time her friends are possibly the criminals behind this horrible crime. In true McKenna fashion she put her life on hold to help discover the truth and finds the killer. I have said this in multiple reviews, READ THE SERIES IN ORDER!!!!! There are moments that are confusing if you read them out of order. I do plan on going back and rereading the series from book 1 to book 9.

This is book #9!!! It’s the last one in the series….maybe I really don’t know. What I do know is the Logan McKenna has been in some dangerous places and I feel like this one might be one of the ones that keeps you wanting to read until the end. I literally spent an afternoon reading this book. Logan McKenna reminds me of myself when I was really young and wanting to work in the police department. In this book, Captain Craig Peterson is washed away by waves during a storm. But no one is sure what really happened and how he was swept away. Can Logan help find out if his death was an accident or was it something sinister that took him away from his family.

Lost and Found is the ninth book in the Logan McKenna Mystery series. I enjoy this series for the coastal and nautical settings, and the great dynamics with Logan’s friends and family! Lost and Found can be read as a standalone mystery, but the developments in recurring characters and their relationships make it best enjoyed in the context of the series.
One thing I enjoy about these books is how they start with a glimpse of the murder. That means you as the reader can be starting to look for clues from the start, before Logan is even on the case! There are loads of great details to notice and you never know what might be relevant!
The focus on the crabbing industry in this book added a level of interest. Through various characters we see how the unpredictability and competitivity of the industry can impact people’s lives, which then adds to the drama and tension. It’s clearly been well-researched which made it informative as well as adding depth to the story!
This book gets five stars from me. If you’ve enjoyed books in this series already you know you’re in for a treat! I’d recommend the series to mystery fans who enjoy coastal settings,

I have enjoyed reading the Logan McKenna Series which I have been reading in order starting from the first book. Along the way I’ve come to really like Logan and all of her friends. In this book, we not only find Logan helping to solve a crime but we learn about raptor center where Logan is volunteering. The author does a great job of world and character building throughout the book.
Amazingly Great! This author has done it again! Fast paced thriller that will captivate audiences. I love how this author is so picturesque with her writing. Also has strong characters and great storytelling abilities to draw you in. You can read as stand alone book and enjoy each one or you can read as a series for in depth character development and storytelling pleasure. I recommend to all readers, that enjoy escaping the everyday realities.

In Plain Sight by Valarie Davisson is the 8th book in the Logan McKenna series. Just like the previous books…it is extremely entertaining! Logan thought that life was going great…she was finally getting her life together. Logan married her boyfriend Ben, she has been volunteering at a local raptor enclosure and is becoming friends with the main vet. But unfortunately Logan just can’t seem to stay away from drama! Logan jumps in to figure out what has happened to the vet and this drags her into the midst of this mystery all while the killer desperately tries to erase any clues that might tie the murder to them and it has to be before they get caught. Logan and her friends find themselves in grave danger! I enjoyed that I didn’t immediately solve the mystery and couldn’t figure out the suspect and I felt like I was alongside Logan trying to figure everything out! This book gave me clue vibes…and I was all for it! You definitely need to pick up the other books to get to love all of the Logan McKenna series!

This is the 9th book in the Logan McKenna series and Valarie Davisson has delivered a great book once again! Valerie doesn’t fail to set the perfect mystery with great detail. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I highly suggest that you go back and read the previous 8 books in the series…that’s the only way to fully understand Logan and her many murder mystery adventures! In this book we find that Logan finds herself yet again in the middle of crime and violence. It seems that no matter where Logan is, mystery follows her! The more Logan tries to solve the murder mystery, the more she finds that she has a target on her back. This is a page turning must read! I promise you will be throughly entertained and won’t want to put the book down once you start! Happy reading!!

If you haven’t read any of the other books you can still read this one and easily follow along. Be prepared to not want to put it down now you start.

The cover art is beautiful. I enjoyed reading about that side of the world. I live on the east cost so our weather and wild life are different. The raptor sanctuary was awesome. I think Logan is a very well rounded person and she had a heart of gold.

Logan is in the wrong profession. She should consider being a detective or police officer at this point lol. I’m glad we got to meet Olivia and I’m glad Logan has someone else to call family. I’m also amazed at the knowledge the author has gathered to write these books. They seem so real.

In a town close to where Logan lives a murder rocks a small coastal town on a crabbing boat . Logans friend Sam begs her to help him clear his friends name and insists his friend is innocent. Logan, however isn’t so sure that’s the case as there is a lot of incriminating evidence. While she’s trying to solve this murder one of her students is kidnapped. While trying to help the parents she finds they are undocumented citizens and they don’t want to go to the police for fear of deportation The tangled web of two different Mysteries and Logan being caught up in a web of lies deceit and betrayal makes this book intense but absolutely worth the read. How much more death can Logan face, she’s strong and won’t stop for anything or anyone until the answers are unveiled

Logan just cant stay out of drama. In the beautiful pacific North West Logan decides to volunteer for the Raptor Sanctuary, but she gets way more than she bargained for when the vet ends up dead, their office absolutely ransacked and a raptor the vet was specially caring for is also dead. Logan jumps in to figure our what happened and this drags her into the center of trouble while the killer desperately tries to close any ties to them before they get caught. Logan and her friends find themselves in danger. I enjoyed that I didnt immediately have a suspect and had to follow the story with Logan to figure it out. This book can be read as a stand alone but you will Understand Logan better if you read the previous stories first!

This is the 9th book in the Logan McKenna mystery series. I have read every book on the series and thoroughly enjoyed them. It helps that I love the scenic Oregon coast and the view of the Pacific Ocean! This is a suspenseful mystery with a well defined female lead character. The plot gives the reader the right amount of mystery, deceitful twists and turns to keep asking what’s going to happen next. Things are not what they seem in this complex novel. You don’t have to go back to book one to enjoy this story but you’ll want to see the events that led Logan to this small town on the Oregon coast!

If you haven’t read anything by this author, you are definitely missing out! The Logan McKenna series is one of my favorites and this 9th installment is quite an adventure. I love that we are always catching up with Logan in each book, but the setting is always different which keeps it refreshing. As usual our main character finds herself in the middle of a mysterious situation with a possible murder involved. I thought I was drawing great conclusions as to where we were headed, but the book takes quite a few twists and turns keeping you guessing until the end. You can read this as a standalone if you prefer because the author does a great job of providing background, but I bet you’ll be reaching for the rest of the series just as well! I highly recommend picking this thrilling crime read up and getting lost in Logan’s journey.

Lost and Found is the ninth book in the Logan McKenna Mystery/Thriller series and can be read as a standalone, although I do recommend reading the previous books just for character development. From birds of prey in the last book, to the crabbing industry in this one, Logan gets her hands in all sorts of things. If you think life has become normal for this strong headed woman, think again….murder seems to follow Logan and this time is no exception. When the suspect turns out to be a friend, she knows she has to help prove their innocence. But, are they innocent?? Who can shee trust? If you have read any of the previous books, you know that Logan McKenna will get the answers and she will not back down until the right person is caught. But can she do that before the killer stops her? I found alot of enjoyment reading this nine book series so far, and I do hope the Logan McKenna series continues. Reviewed by @zoltrixes

Logan McKenna is back again in book eight of the series. All of the series can be read as stand alone books, but it does help with background character building to read them all in order. The story itself is not affected by reading the books solo. In Plain Sight brings us back into Logan McKenna’s ever busy life and things seem to be going well for her. She decides to volunteer at a wildlife rescue center, helping wild birds of prey. Her life can not get any better…until a coworker is found murdered. This one is a little different. There is no evidence, or even a sign that a murder took place other than the body. Law enforcement are stumped so Logan, ofcourse, gets involved. This one may be my favorite in the series so far, I cant wait to read the next one in the Logan McKenna series.
Whisper Creek is the 7th installment in the Logan McKenna series and she’s found trouble….and murder…once again. Logan has gone viral with her voilin compositions, her confidence is booming, and her long time boyfriend has finally proposed. Life is perfect. That is, until a woman no one likes turns up dead. The local law enforcement have it all figured out, except Logan is sure they have it all wrong. As always with Logan McKenna, she has to get involved and help solve the murder, and take the suspicion off of her friend. This woman is a magnet for trouble but she knows how to get out of it too. I like that we are in book seven and the story is still fresh but it IS becoming a bit predictable with her always being involved or getting a friend off. Overall, I still love the series so far.

Lost and Found (Logan McKenna Mystery Book 9) by Valerie Davisson. I love this series and each book I read becomes my new favorite. It can be read as a standalone but of course I always think they are best read in order. Logan and Sam are back and this time its in the crabbing industry, which if very cut throat, and of course a dead body. When Sam’s friend is accused of the murder they have to work very fast to clear his name. This case is baffling to Logan because the more she digs the less she finds and she becomes even more confused as to what has happened. Her gut is telling her that something is not right but she continues to try to clear Sam’s friend even though she feels he may not be innocent. Will Logan and Sam figure out this case before its too late and their friend goes to jail or will Logan’s instincts be correct once again. Read this fast paced, thriller to find out!
