Due 10/19 Titanians Phoenix (Titanian Chronicles Book 2) by Victoria Saccenti

Not the first book I’ve read by Saccenti. This is the first book of the series I’ve read. Saccenti is an amazing author and I can never wait for the next one.

Maya is human and is in for a shock. She is kidnapped along with her godmother. What she doesn’t know is that her life may be changing for the better. The quote I chose for Maya is: “Are you hurt? Are you hurt? The sounds were horrible. What was that disgusting green liquid? Zeus is back to normal too. I’m so happy, so relieved.”

Soren didn’t think he would ever find his mate. Then he gets the shock of his life when she shows up at the bar he’s at. She was told to look for him, meaning something is wrong. The quote I chose for Soren is: “That’s my mate, and she needs me. I’m going to help her. Now.”

Highly recommended for Mythology lovers.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kailen is the last of the race of the Tuatha Dé Danann living on the earthly plain since he bargained their safe passage to the Tir na nÓg after their time on their current plain was over thanks to an unseen betrayal and in return, Kailen would remain and pledge his sword to first the Seelie Court and then to the Titanians. When he fights with them in a remote valley against a daemon horde, they beat them back and magic wielders sent them to another plain of existence, however, there were casualties and one was Kailen’s love who was killed during the fight to protect him, despite him telling her not to.

A thousand years has passed since that fateful day and Kailen hasn’t opened his heart to anyone else since, he has engaged in the pleasures of the flesh, but nothing more, that is until he comes face to face with Talaith, a powerful druid sorceress who is engaged by her mentor and a friend of Kailen’s to aid him during an operation when she is needed to save the life of Soren, a high ranking Titanian. Neither of them has ever forgotten the other, even though many years had passed between them meeting for the first time and the present day, especially the feelings they hide from both each other and themselves, the reunion, however is short lived as dangers surround them.

As usual, there are complications when the Titanians receive word that the exiled daemons may have returned, this leads Kailen and Talaith on a journey which is both dangerous and filled with the undeniable passion which ignites between them. As they try investigate the sightings and attempt to hold off a renewed attack from the daemons, will they be able to protect each other, or will the death magic surrounding the daemons tear them apart? This is an action packed paranormal romance in which you are whirled along with the current of events as good fights evil to keep the natural order and balance of things intact.

I’ve read Titanian’s Phoenix, the first book in this series, which I preferred to this novel. But I still really enjoyed this paranormal romance and the way the love story between Kailen and Talaith unfolds. Both have dark, haunted pasts and their story is full of drama. I thought the world-building across different places and times was impressive, and every page is full of details and the battle scenes in particular were intense. Full of adventure, and I can’t wait to see where this story goes next.

I love this love story she got it right with the descriptive characters and the way she displays the plot.
Kieran must be the sexiest man but his story is sad and romantic.
With this book you get spicy and heat.
There is some serious adventure
What I love about Victoria is that she has a way of making three different stories wrapped in the same world.
Read all three books it is worth it, they will have you I all the feels and you cannot go wrong.

This is not my typical genre, but the story is so awesome it will pull anyone in. The world we are taken to is magical, and here we see romance, action, shifters, adventure, really all you could want in a story. I really enjoyed watching Kailen and his journey. He was pretty broken after the incident with Nadrine, and becoming the last in his family line, I didn’t think he would recover, but the heart has a way of healing when you least expect it. I felt selfish for a minute and really didn’t want Kailen to open his heart to anyone else. At first Kailen and Talaith didn’t feel right to me but I was won over and was excited to see their pairing, with all they go through leading up to their relationship as well as fighting along side each other for the Titanians. I highly recommend this book and would definitely recommend reading them in order as you will want to get to know some of the characters from previous books.

The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2 by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give this a 4 out if 5 stars.

The Last Danann starts by dropping us off back in time to learn a little more about Kailen, the mysterious and unique healer that resides with the Titan, Soren. We learn about the love he had for his people, the losses he’s suffered, and the pain he’s gone through for centuries to get him where he is. But one thing remains constant, Kaiden refuses to love again.

When Talaith resurfaces in Kailen’s life and they are pushed together to help save the people they care about, he has no choice but try and keep his distance. Talaith gave Kailen her heart years ago, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to show him she’s there, but not too close.

Working together, they search and find answers to the problems that are popping up in the world, but when death magic hits, can Kailen protect her or will he lose her forever?

After reading Victoria Saccenti’s first Titanian Chrinicles (Titanian’s Phoenix), it left me wanting more so I picked up The Last Danann to see if any of my questions and desires were answered. And they were! I loved how we were able to learn about Kailen’s past and why he is how he is.

The way Saccenti wove the storyline to encompass the vampire, Eachann and his lost mate really helped to suck me in and make me wonder what else may happen. I can’t wait to see what Victoria Saccenti does for the next part in the Titanian Chronicles, but I’m here for it!

I really enjoyed this third installment in the Titanian Chronicles from Victoria Saccenti. I have been following and reading from the beginning, which I recommend you also do to get the full enjoyment and understanding out of the novels, and these are some wildly vivid and detailed books that bring to life a world that always makes me feel as if I am whisked away and to magic and lore and mystery that I never want to leave. I really enjoy the way Ms. Saccenti builds her characters up and makes them so believable and relatable. This was a thrilling read, we start off with a battle in a great fantasy world. I was pulled right in.

Kailen was great, he was a very strong character. He is dedicated to trying to save his world. Having lost his true love tragically he is protective of his heart and has no plans to find another love. But fate may have other plans for him.

Talaith is a sorceress and has offered her help to battle for the Titanians to get their master back. When she meets Kailen there is an instant connection. As these two work more and more together the sparks continue to grow between them. Will they resist or give into their feelings?

Overall this was a great read. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. We get drama, mystery, supernatural and so much more in this story. All of the characters were amazing and added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great read, 1-click and get started today.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We end this epic trilogy by Victoria Saccenti with Kailen and Talaith. Enraptured with book 3 from start to finish I loved every moment and was very appreciative of how the stories were all woven together. This book provided so much emotion and dramatic suspense as the characters overcome many perils to be together.
Kailen is a tormented man who believes he is destined to never love again after his tragic loss of his first mate. The tragedy leaves his heart hardened and closed off until he encounters Talaith. The connection is instant, and Kailen does everything he can to fight the feeling.
Talaith has an enthralling attraction to Kailen, but is dismayed by the push and pull between them. As they unite to defeat the daemon horde it brings them closer together and Kailen must determine if he can overcome his fear to have love once more. This story was beautifully written, and these 2 are by far my favorite characters.

Titanian's Phoenix (Titanian Chronicles, #1)Titanian’s Phoenix by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Victoria Saccenti has quickly become a household favorite for me! She has constructed this uniquely intricate fantasy existence that is scintillating and vivid to the imagination. The characters are well developed and connected with each providing their own individuality to the story itself.
As we meet the main character Maya she can be seen as strong, independent and loyal woman. Her life is her own, and she built her existence upon answering to no one. When she and her godmother Anna are abducted one night her life as she knows it changes dramatically. She learns that magic is real, she herself is apart of the supernatural world she always believed to be nonexistent, and that the fates have given her a very sexy Titanian mate named Soren.
When Soren meets Maya in a run down bar he is staking out he knows who she is, and he vows to cherish and protect her at all costs. As they explore their newfound fate together the steamy chemistry is undeniable, but Maya must first find a way to awaken her Phoenix as well as accept Soren as her mate. With members of the supernatural and human world being murdered, and Maya herself in danger because of who she is there is much that both Maya and Soren must overcome. This story is full of suspense, mystery, romance, and dramatic twists and turns that will make this book difficult to put down.

Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Shelly Kittell

What a fantastic book! Based in the south in 1069, dealing with racial issues and romance and injustices made this book still relevant today. My favorite part was watching Noemie grown and take her life back. When she told Serena off, I was so happy for her. So well-written and beautifully done, I recommend this book to everyone.

Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti- Review by Lauren West

This story will truly pull at your heartstrings and play to your every emotion. This story truly shows that love discriminates against no one and when its meant to be its meant to be. Richard and Noemie fight through many parallels to be together, and the strength from their love and each other is what moves them forward in the extreme racist south of the 1960s.
Noemi is a beautiful girl who is sweet and full spirited. Living with a drunken/abusive father she struggles to protect her younger brother and strives to provide them with a better life. Upon meeting Richard its instant chemistry that is physical, but deeply emotional as well. As we experience their journey to a HEA it becomes a tale that truly sticks with you. The narration of this story was completely amazing and at times it gave me goosebumps.

This is a great fantasy adventure/romance. This is part of the Titanian Chronicles. This story is action packed and the author does an amazing job of transporting you through time from one place to another.

Kailen struck a deal to help save his people however his end of the deal means he can’t join them. He needs to spend his time travelling through the ages helping the Titanian’s face and defeat the forces of evil, to stop them overtaking and destroying the world. Kailen  has remained loyal to his mission but when the women he gets close to loving gets killed in battle he walls his heart off and vows never to love again.

That is until he meets a Druid/healer called Talaith. Talaith  has her own story of why she keeps herself locked away from love. However when Kailen and Talaith start to work together their walls start to crumble as their relationship grows.
Things are so happily ever after though as the daemons they face release a new magic that is set to kill them all and the price Kailen is willing to pay to keep Talaith safe may in the end destroy them both.

Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti

4 out of 5 Stars

In 1968, Noemie BellaRose lives in a small South Carolina town.  Her family moved there from New Orleans.  Noemie fights the realities of living in this small town as a Creole woman but has made a home for herself and her brother.  Noemie is attending night school to finish her college degree in accounting.  A degree is part of Noemie’s plan to secure the future for her and her brother.

Richard Winters left a broken dream in New York.  He got on his motorcycle and rode away from the pain and the past.  He stopped in Noemie’s small town.  Richard didn’t plan on staying but he did.  He didn’t want any trouble but he found it when the town’s Queen B took a shine to him.  Richard didn’t want love but fate had other plans when he crossed paths with Noemie.

Noemie and Richard were battling the long-held beliefs in the South, Richard’s past, and Noemie’s family situation.  When things start coming to a head in the small town, will Richard and Noemie face the future together?

The support that Noemie discovers from friends is endearing.  I love that Richard is not afraid to stand up for Noemie or their love no matter the cost to him.  This is a sweet love story with a HEA.

Warning:  The book contains scenes depicting domestic violence and attempted sexual assault.  This may trigger some listeners

This is a romance with a little bit of a history. The days when mixed marriages were frowned upon. In this story Noemie and Richard come face to face with racism. You will get to go back to the sixties and read along as these two incredible people fight for love. Richard will do just about anything for Noemie. Noemie, having racism thrown at her daily, just wants to protect the man she loves. Even if it means she can’t see him or love him. How will these 2 beautiful people’s hearts find where love leads them?

Victoria Saccenti has opened the door to the 60s. A time when the people were divided by race and color. A time where people could get killed over talking to the wrong person. Growing up in the 60s I remember hearing such horrific stories. This is a beautifully written story about just such forbidden love. One I think everybody will enjoy. Noemie is such a strong independent woman. Richard is a strong protector, who loves who he loves. The characters in this story are believable in how life was back then. You will find the world around you fades away as you listen to this story of forbidden love. Hop on this audio train and listen in. Well Done Victoria Saccenti!  Well Done! ! !

This is Richard and Noémie’s story you can say opposites attract only because  one’s running from the past while the other is trying to make a future. God I love these to characters and their chemistry between them is crazy. Can these two have the relationship they want /need or will it end in heartbreak? I loved this story of Noemi and Richard. Richard wants to protect Noemi really pulls at my heart strings. Setting of a small town, the racism that Noemi had to deal with on a daily basis… I couldn’t possibly imagine. There are so many obstacles as Richard is white, while Noemi is not…and the story taking place in the 60’s with some rocky times for social equality. This story is heartbreaking at times and beautiful.

This is my second book in this series. I was pretty excited when I saw this show up. Sadly this didn’t hold up to the previous one. The story covers a long time period and after a while I just seemed to lose interest. Maybe too many plots so I couldn’t become invested in the main story. There also are a TON of characters to keep track of who/what they are and alliances, mates etc. Some we met in the last book others were new to me. While I enjoy stories of this genre it was a struggle for me to finish this one.

It was nice to see Soren and Maya and see how they are getting along and how much they moved forward. Plus seeing more of she skills. I am curious about Eachann’s story though.

Overall this is a good story. I do like the characters and they are interesting.

If you like mythology, you will love this book. This author has an amazing descriptive writing talent. I could see the words painting a picture in my mind. The characters are complex, complicated, and easy to relate to their personalities. In this story, there are ups and downs, ins and outs, twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Kallen has pledged his sword to the Titanian. Talaith is a Titanian warrior that is a beauty. When they are attacked their passion comes seeping into play they are a force to be reckoned with. Can they become passionate with one another like they are passionate about fighting against the daemons? I highly recommend this book to find out for yourself. This book was absolutely spellbinding! The complex world and magic was perfect and the characters were so well written and I just loved every page. It is very fast paced and hard to put down. I loved the lore surrounding Soren and Maya and reading their story as the plot developed was thrilling. There is plenty of steamy romance and plenty of action also. The story revolves around Maya and Soren and their inner circle as they fight for all of the good with magic, supernatural creatures and humans against the evil determined to turn the tide in their favor. The other characters in their inner circle all have complexities and I hope to read more about them. All in all I am in awe of the magical world and lore built in this story and can’t wait to read the next book! Highly recommend this book!
