Surviving Jordan (Surviving Series Book 3) by Virginia Wine – Review by Krista Beck

Surviving Jordan (Surviving Series Book 3)Surviving Jordan by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Surviving Jordan is book 3 in the Surviving series. Ben and Jordan have had feelings for each other for years, but never acted on it. Steel is a man who can get things done, protects those he loves and does what is needed. In book 2, Steel saved Jordan from Graham. In this book, they begin spending time together even though Jordan still has feelings for Ben. When danger comes knocking on Steel’s door, he pushes Jordan away. Will Ben be ready to act on his feelings? What is the danger that is knocking at Steel’s door? This book does a good job at including the main characters from the other books. I would have liked a little less focus on Ben and Jordan and more of the story with Steel’s situation. Other wise it was a good story.

This is the third book in the “Surving Series”. I’ve read each one in order and I think it would be difficult to follow if you weren’t aware of the continuing threads.

SURVIVING JORDAN gives us a few answers to questions that developed in the first two books. PHEW!!! I still have a few questions but am hoping that Steel gets his own story and everything becomes clear.

SURVIVING JORDAN is more suspense than romance. There is lots of action that propels one to quickly turn the pages to find out what is going to happen next. It kept me engaged in the story, even at times when it seemed to be “too much”.

SURVIVING JORDAN features some fantastically strong women who can definitely kick some butt. The men and wen are written in equal strength and the story was an enjoyable read.

Surviving the Storm (Surviving Series Book 2)Surviving the Storm by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There I was thinking book 1 Surviving Eden was good, but then Virginia Wine totally throws you off by writing an even better book 2. Surviving the Storm is an incredibly captivating read filled with emotion, mystery, action, suspense, passion and much more. For the full experience of this amazing series, these books should definitely be read in order just so you can get the full feel of this series!

You will be left on the edge of your seat wondering what could happen with our main characters that you have instantly made a connection to!
Alexander and Madison’s story is captivating, compelling and thrilling to read, so much so you can’t put the read down until the very end! The emotions you get from the characters are raw and real as though you were there alongside them, but also both of these characters have such depth to them you can’t help but love both of them in some way.

Madison and Alexander have such an amazing connection and chemistry you couldn’t help but hope they got a HEA. It was great getting a further mention of Our main characters from Book 1 they fit into the story and blend Book 1 & 2 together.

This truly has been another incredible addition to this series, and I cannot wait to see how much further this author can take this series! She has outdone herself again and I cannot wait to experience book 3 Surviving Jordan! Until then do not miss this book!

What another fantastic read from this author! Just when I thought book 2 was my favourite from this series along comes book 3 and takes the top spot! I absolutely loved Surviving Jordan! It was filled with everything I love in a book from romance to mystery and it was outstandingly written! This author never fails to pull me in to her stories straight away and not let me back out until I have finished – and even then I still want to go back and read it all over again! I loved the intense passion and chemistry between Ben and Jordan! It was so clear to see how much Ben adored Jordan nut also I could see why Jordan wanted to protect herself. I did find myself rooting for them the whole way through the story; I really thought that they were perfect for each other! I really loved every minute of Ben and Jordan’s story.
I 100% recommend this book and this series and I can’t wait to read more from Ms Wine in the future.

4 Stars!!!!

I have to say that I was gripped from the first page of this book till the very end. I like how the author
brings in the past conflict around the main character. I really enjoyed my first read from this author. I know that this is the second book in the series but I am famous for reading books out of order.

I really found myself lured into the Alex’s world. I found that the drama unfolded around the characters and it was like I was part of the world. I found the author’s way of writing the story really draws you in and you find yourself swept away in the drama. I really found myself routing for Alex. The way his past comes into play really adds to the drama. I really couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to see what would happen next. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I must really also read more of this series.

Surviving the Storm is book two in the Surviving Series by Virginia Wine. I just adored this story as it spoke to me in a totally beguiling voice. I was captivated, stunned and intrigued all at once, and it just got better from there.

Getting to know Alex and Madison was a plethora of various emotions and there are so many words to describe the essence and depths of this story. Arousal, bewilderment, chaos, danger, ecstasy, friction, gentleness, happiness, intensity, jealousy, karma, laughter, mystery, nervousness, opulence, passion, quirkiness, respect, serenity, trauma, ugliness, value, worthiness, yearning and zest for life. A whole alphabet of emotions and events. More than enough to keep a reader insatiably satisfied for hours. A story that is unpredictable and adventurous. 5 stars.

Surviving the Storm by Virginia Wine is the phenomenal sequel in the Surviving Series! This is by far my favorite book by this author, I was intrigued by Alex’s character from his first appearance in book 1, so I was beyond thrilled when I started his story. I would highly suggest reading Surviving Eden, book 1, first as this book follows directly where it left off.

Alex and Madison’s story was captivating, thrilling, entertaining, funny, romantic and a true page-turner! I connected with both these characters early on and I felt really invested in their story and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone looking for their next romance read!

Surviving the Storm is book 2 in the Surviving Series. This book focuses on Alex and Madison. There is so much suspense and action in this book. It is definitely the best in the series so far. Alex comes from money but he isn’t showy about it. Madison is an independent woman who is getting her clothing line up and running. We know from book 1 that Alex and Madison spent one night together and that she is already promised to marry Graham. So what happens next? You will have to read the book to find out! Theo and Eden are fairly prominent through out this book, so if you haven’t read book 1 you will want to.

I LOVED this book! I have to admit I think I was in love with it before I even started, as soon as I read ‘Alexander Kincaid Storm III’ I was gone! For some reason the name sounds so sexy! There was so much that I loved about this story, the chemistry between the characters, the suspense, the secrets and lies – I just really loved it all! I’m not usually a fan of insta-love it often has me rolling my eyes but I liked it in this story, I’m pretty sure I would have fallen in love with Alex as quickly as Madison did! I loved all of the twists and turns that the author took me on, it was definitely one of those books that I couldn’t put down. I thought the authors writing style was great, the book was easy to read and it took no time at all for me to be captivated by what I was reading.
I am really excited to read more from this series and author again in the future.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoy the writing style of this author. The chapters are “normal” length and they are broken up with alternating POV or subject change in quick order. It’s a fast great way to read.

This is book 2 in a series and I think it would be best to read the series in order. There are relationships from the first story that continue here and I think it would be more enjoyable to read in order.

The characters continue to develop as the story unfolds. There is a bit of suspense and some twists and turns. The open door sex scenes are easy to skim.

The story held my interest. I will absolutely continue to read the series. I look forward to reading more about of Steel and Gage and the other characters too.

Surviving the Storm (Surviving Series Book 2)Surviving the Storm by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Surviving the Storm by Virginia Win is the second book in the Surviving Series. Virginia Win did not disappoint in this story. She has a great depth of knowledge that allows her to put her emotions into her characters and stories. This is a contemporary romance story with mystery, suspense, lies, secrets and family dynamics all roll up into one book. The story of a guy raised on one side of the tracks falls for a girl on the other side of the tracks could sum it up, however it is much more than that statement. Alexander Kincaid Storm III wat the boy on the right side of the tracks but his father’s world dictates what Alexander was able to do or pursue. Then there was Madison. A girl that swept him up and had he going to a place he has never been before ever, Alexander has to decide if he was going to follow his heart of head with this relationship. Madison was her own person. Her story intertwines with Alexander. She will also have to make some decisions if she really wants Alexander. What would Alexander do? Will Madison think that Alexander is worth everything? Reading their story has some ups and downs.

This was a brilliant story from the get go, and one that you will not want to miss! Surviving Eden is Book 1 in the Surviving Series from author Virginia Wine. This author has an amazing writing style that’s easy flowing, captivating and well developed characters and plot lines.

This story had many twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. But also whole following along with Eden & Theo’s story I was taken along on an emotional rollercoaster that was so raw and real that you felt as though you were living the emotions yourself. Theo & Eden have a chemistry that is hot, intense and immediate. With the tragedy that has struck both Theo & Eden life previously they have both been going through life with this impacting their day to day lives. Will they be able to find themselves with the help of each other & manage to live a new life together?

I cannot wait to read the rest of this series, if it is anything compared to this one then I will not be disappointed, and neither will you!

Surviving Eden is about loss, grief and love. Theodore Grant is a psychologist helping Eden deal with her grief over losing her family. While I found the characters interesting, I would have liked more of their back stories. I felt their back story was just thrown in to the story. I like the attraction between the two, but given the possible fall out that could happen, I expected Theo to put up more of a fight. The story was well written, the story line was good and I will read the next book in the series, as I really liked Alex.

Surviving Eden (Surviving Series Book 1)Surviving Eden by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Surviving Eden is the first book in the Surviving Series by Virginia Wine. If this first book is any indication of how the whole series will be then I’m sure that this will be a series that I read many times.
Dr Theo Grant is a highly renowned psychiatrist. With a very difficult childhood behind him, he himself would be a psychiatrist dream to work with. His past has led him to believe that he’s not lovable and he has no intention of settling down with one woman. That is until he met Eden Barnett.
Eden is the adopted daughter of Theo’s best friend Matthew Barnett. When Matthew and his beloved wife are tragically killed, Eden becomes Theo’s patient to help her deal with her grief.
To say that sparks flew when these 2 met would be an understatement. They are both drawn to one another and their connection is fierce.
Can Theo go against one of the very cornerstones of his profession and have a relationship with his patient? Will helping Eden also help Theo deal with the demons from his own past? Can they both heal each other?
In order to answer these questions I would urge you to read this book. These 2 characters are amazingly well written. You, as the reader, get to see right into their souls.
Thankfully, I also have books 2 and 3 on my kindle just waiting for me to devour. I can’t wait to see what Virginia Wine has in store for Theo and Eden and also for their friends and family members who will take centre stage in the rest of this series.

In the Surviving Series, Surviving Eden is book one by Virginia Wine is a contemporary romance book. This is my first book by this author, and it will not be my last. The characters are fully developed, and the story line is so close to be true that I felt like I was with the characters watching while on Eden’s shoulder. There are some scenes that be a bit explicit for an audience under the age of 18. The story took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Eden and Theo both have had accidents in their past that that had them just going through life without meaning. Will Eden be the answer for Theo and vice versa? Or will the accidents in their lives steer clear of each other?

Surviving Jordan (Surviving Series Book 3)Surviving Jordan by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Surviving Jordan by Virginia Wine is book three of the Surviving Series. Due to content and language this book is suggested for readers 18+. It is suggested that you read the first two books first so you get the whole story.

From the moment Ben laid eyes on her, he’s known Jordan is the one he wants to be with. He just could never cross the line. Then Ben gets information that makes Jordan even more off limits than before. There is serious attraction between the two but Jordan can tell Ben is pulling away so to protect herself she does as well. Will these two find their way to each other or will Jordan always be forbidden to Ben?

What I enjoyed about this book is similar with the other books in the series. This book focuses on the main characters but the book also picked up the characters from previous books and ties them all in. It’s nice that they didn’t instantly just go to the background. I enjoyed reading the interactions between all the characters. There is so much tension and passion in this book it jumps off the page at you. It was a definite emotional rollercoaster but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Surviving Eden is book one in the Surviving Series by Virginia Wine. I was intrigued by the blurb of this story, and just knew I was in for a spellbinding read.  I love the taboo genre, and this book was a delight to read.

Theo and Eden should never have played with fire.  Eden had tragedy strike and Theo was no stranger to loss, either. They were instantly drawn to each other, and although morally wrong, their feelings felt oh, so right. Their love was forbidden,  but the need could not be denied, and the ultimate sacrifice was made.

Getting to know Theo and Eden was easy to do as they were so hard to resist. Their story screamed at me to read it. Their feelings were evident and the attraction blindingly obvious. Surviving  Eden was emotional, arousing, addictive, splendid. Their journey was fraught with friction, suspense, drama, and those that wanted to see them fail. Their strength was immeasurable, their love unconditional, their story now told. 5 stars.

Surviving Eden (Surviving Series Book 1)Surviving Eden by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Surviving Eden was a great 5 star read.
We start out in the past with a heartbreaking scene involving Theo and his family.
We jump ahead to present day, he is now a psychiatrist. When Theo gets a call about a tragic accident involving his best friend and wife the past memories come rushing back to him.

When he sees Eden at the funeral he has a connection with her, he understands her pain. He quickly leaves knowing he needs to get away from her. There is something about her that he can’t get out of his mind, an attraction he knows isn’t right. When fate brings her to his office things take a twist and get even more interesting.

Will these two be able to help heal each other’s hearts? Can they have a HEA?

I really enjoyed this book, I was pulled right in and didn’t want to stop until I was done. I really liked Theo and Eden. Theo was a straightforward man he never led anyone on as to what he wanted in the bedroom, and boy were there some hot scenes. Eden was great as well, she was determined to get answers to her questions no matter what. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I can’t wait to read more from these two and this series.

Surviving Jordan is the third book in Virginia Wine’s Surviving series. I think the whole series has been leading up to this! The writing is better than ever, the drama and suspense is more intense than ever … Yes, you can read it as a standalone but do yourself a favor and read the series in the order as we meet the everyone in each of the books so it really feels as if every book builds upon the previous one!
Surviving Jordan is the story of Benjamin Thomas Stone (Alex’ brother) and Jordan Mitchell. They had instant attraction and they acted upon it and then suddenly, after Ben’s father dies, Ben backs off … no explanations … no obvious reasons … simply … Jordan keeps pining for Ben and unbeknownst to her so does Ben … years pass and it is time, time to … move on … and who enters as the potential love interest for Jordan? Our friend Steele who has actually literally saved her life …
The writer gives us mystery, romance, action, secrets, emotions … it is one heck of a ride and I promise you, once you get on, you do not want to get off!

Surviving Jordan (Surviving Series Book 3) by Virginia Wine is one incredible storyline that I loved. With romance and mystery, thrills and spills, danger and suspense, action and intrigue, it has it all and let’s not forget evil. It is an amazing journey and the wonderful characters from the other books in this series star right along with them. The chemistry sizzles and is sweet and sexy that heats up the pages. It is a definite page turner.

Ben has been in love with her since the day he first saw her but what he learns turns his life upside down. It can’t be true, can it? Now he has to know or lose her forever.

Jordan doesn’t know what changed but her heart is being ripped in two. Why now? What made it change? When someone new walked into her life she believed she could move on. But even that was thrown away from her.

Steel had to walk away and in walking away he finally believed he had met his match.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I so hope that we get to read more of Steel. He is my man.

Surviving Jordan (Surviving Series Book 3)Surviving Jordan by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Surviving Jordan by Virginia Wine is the third and final book in her Surviving series and I could not get enough of this book. Falling under the romantic suspense genre, this book easily pulls you under it’s spell and doesn’t let go from beginning to end. Following the story of Benjamin Stone and Jordan Mitchell, the passion that brought these two together was palpable through my e-reader and made from some very steamy scenes. Benjamin, even though he can feel the pull to Jordan, he had to keep himself distanced from her. His emotions run too hard and fast for a women who he knows that he can’t have. Jordan on the other hand wants to cross every line to get to Benjamin, and be damn the rules. She can’t keep her mind or her hands off of him, and is willing to do anything to get him to break for her. Can these two find a way to get their happiness or will they have to be separated by those around them? Wine is a newer to me author, having only found her from this series and boy am I happy that I found her! If you are looking for a great author that will pull you into her writing style and in depth characters than this is an author, and series, that you need to pick up straight away. This book is a must read for all of my friends!
