The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising, #4)The Inquisitor by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is part of the WaterFyre Rising series and is probably my favourite so far. I loved the chemistry between the main characters. It was instant and so strong, it really carried on through the whole of the book. I was captivated by their connection and was desperate for them to find a way to surmount all of the obstacles they faced.
The book is so well written and I loved the storyline. It was a gripping read and I could not put this book down. This author has become one of my favourites with such ease. I don’t bother to read the description of her books anyone, I just pick them up and start reading. This is a fantastic book that I would highly recommend.

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising, #4)The Inquisitor by Nadia Han
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 4th book in the WaterFyre Rising series. Even though it is part of a series each book revolves around a different couple so you don’t need to read them in order, however I guarantee once you’ve read 1 you will want to read more. The author’s writing is so captivating that it grips you from the first page and doesn’t let go.
This book has everything I love to read. From a strong protective alpha with dark secrets, danger, lies, passion, intrigue, human trafficking, and twists and turns i just didn’t expect for me it was definately a thrilling page-turner.
This story follows Forrest and Kiera. A chance meeting brings them together and even though the attraction is there they think nothing more of it. Until Kiera is kidnapped and placed up for auction to the highest bidder. Scared and alone she panics until she spots a familiar face in the crowd.
Forrest has his own demons to deal with and he is on a revenge mission to get rid of the people who murdered his family and he will stop at nothing until the last person has gone. When he meets Kiera she is like a Ray of light in his dark world and even though he knows he shouldn’t he can’t help but be drawn to her.
When she sees her at that place he knows he needs to do whatever it takes to protect her but by doing so has he just put an even bigger target on her back from the people he is trying to destroy.
Can he protect Kiera whilst still going after revenge?

This story is so detailed and I love the way it is told from both POV so you can get a complete picture of what each character is thinking and feeling, the turmoil they both go through as they try to navigate the dangerous path in front of them.
Even though it is over 400 pages long I read through it so fast because i couldn’t put it down. I needed to know what would happen and if they would get their happy ever after

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising, #4)The Inquisitor by Nadia Han
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As the boys from WaterFyre Rising continue to take on the criminal network that threatened their lives when they were young, Forrest takes care of some personal business. In this thrilling addition to the series, Forrest discovers that beauty is more than meets the eye.

Forrest is on a mission of revenge with the men that killed his father. He is two-thirds of the way done when he is distracted by a woman that he can’t seem to get out of his head. Forrest has known her for ages as she mingles in his friend circles. On a photo shoot with her, their chemistry takes over and they share one night. She disappears and Forrest doesn’t know why.

After the best night of her life, Kiera receives a phone call that her mother is in the hospital and she takes off. Her mother’s declining health has been Kiera’s sole focus for the last six months. Kiera takes a photography job in Texas to ensure that she can pay for her mom’s treatment. Kiera runs into Forrest while in Texas and they reconnect. Kiera wants to keep her distance but Forrest won’t let that happen.

As Forrest and Kiera rediscover each other, an outside force is trying to keep them apart. Kiera is kidnapped. She appears in a special auction. Forrest bids and wins her. It doesn’t end there. As the outside force is revealed, it creates different problems. Hearts are broken.

This author takes the reader on another outstanding, intense thrill ride. Find the time to read this one.

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising Book 4) by Nadia Han – Review by Jessica Stone

So first off, this book is part of The WaterFyre Rising series, but can be read as a standalone, I didn’t realize until I was halfway through this book that I missed reading one of them super I’m super thankful that it can be read as a standalone. That being said I have read the first two books in this series and this book, just like thoes, did not disappoint.
The heat between Forrest and Keira is immediate, though there interactions take a bit of time to really combust, the chemistry is already there from a previous meetings, and being part of the same circle and it has not died down at all.

Forrest is a Doctor, thanks to growing up with his supportive grandma he’s grown his career into a successful life. Now he’s back in Texas for revenge, his father was killed brutally by a gang when he was a young child, he’s made it his life’s mission to avenge his family.

Keira is a fashion photographer, who’s just trying to make ends meet, after a accident at her moms work causes her to fall severely I’ll Keira’s taking every possible job she can, on top of her already busy schedule to pay for her moms medications and treatments. The last thing she has time for or interest in is a relationship or fling, so why she can’t seem to get Forrest off her mind.
In a chance meeting the both wind up in Texas at the same time and things just take off from there. Keira gets kidnapped and it’s up to Forrest to choose between his vengeance and saving the girl he can’t get off his mind.

Ok so their chemistry is off the charts, it actually makes me giddy little a little girl, I can barely stay in my seat. I love how straight forward Forrest is about wanting Keira right off the back. The she’s mine, touch her and die vibes are strong with him.
Keira has the best intentions with the worst execution, she’s got the biggest heart and with that big trusting heart sometimes comes pain, but that’s a chance worth taking I believe.

I’ve enjoyed this series so far, I can’t wait to see the next book and I’m interested to see more come from a certain situation that ties all the male protagonist from this series, I feel like every book gets a bit more exciting and I’m so excited to see everything come to a head and to read about the next couple. I would definitely recommend this series, but I would highly recommend reading the first 3 books just to get a little insight into all the characters and how they interconnect and their own personal stories.

This was wildest ride a book ever took me on . There was a moment when I was like “MORE ? D@MN” lol truly dynamite in a small package . Honestly it fulfills a lot of my wishlist for a book lol undying devotion, razor sharp man softens for love, cute lil affectionate gestures, beautiful displays of love, the whole “mine” thing … I adored this love story. Kiera & Forrest are entirely sweet & adorable together. I do wish more of the things that happened , really HAPPENED … so as readers we could be involved & feel more connected to the story . Certain spots felt a bit detached & I wished for more . I really, really loved Hank & how things went for him ! Special recognition for being delightfully nerdy. & CHEERS to the beautifully brazen self glory throughout this book . It was entirely inspiring & I’m about to be makin my way through Finding Your HeART .

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising, #4)The Inquisitor by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Inquisitor is book 4 in the series and probably my favorite. I love the guys in the group who all have their over book in the series but this one….not sure why but this definitely was the best on my opinion. I love the chemistry between Forrest and Kiera.
They are pretty much part of the same friend group. One night the chemistry is just too much and they end up having a one night stand that rocked both their worlds. When Forrest woke up, she was gone. No note, nothing! So they pretty much avoided eachother now they are face to face while away on business and they can’t overcome what’s between then. There’s definitely unfinished business.
Forrest is definitely an alpha male and protects what is his. When something happens to Kiera Forrest doesn’t have any option but to get to bottom of everything. Such a great read!

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. I have really been enjoying this series. This is Kiera and Forrest’s story which is dual POV, which I enjoy so you can see what they are both thinking. Forrest is a successful doctor with a secret. Kiera is on a new job when she meets Forrest. There is an instant connection but with a scary twist she is thrust into danger. Will Forrest be able to help her?

All I can say is wow, what a story. We get so much that will put you on the edge of your seat. There are also some topics that may be triggers for some people. I really enjoy dark reads and this one definitely gave me that. You can read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading all the books in the series. The author does a great job with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her and the series. 1-click and get started today on this great series.

The story of Kiera and Forrest made me cry at times. Between Kiera getting kidnapped and being sold, and Forrest rescuing her and trying to get his revenge, it was an emotional rollercoaster. I wanted to hug Kiera and tell her that it was going to be all okay. Forrest was extremely supportive , and understanding. They both understood each other so well. I loved this book the most because they didn’t fall instantly in love. It almost was slow burn but just a teensy bit faster. I loved that Keira was a photographer and she showed the world what she saw with models, and fashion. This entire series had me on the edge of my seat and wanting more.

I was so excited when I found out that Grayson got his own book. I loved him in the previous books and wanted to see his POV. Grayson is innovative, ridiculously smart, and a brilliant architect. Natalie is a strong, independent woman who makes men quake at her feet. When her and Grayson clash, it’s like chaotic beautiful music. These two start out as enemies who can’t stand each other, but when things take a sudden turn, they suddenly realize the chemistry between them. I loved reading this book and seeing the others pop in and out. I can’t wait to read more!

This book about Remi and Audri was fantastic. I loved reading their story. Both of their backgrounds was heartbreaking. Each had something that was haunting them and that they deeply regretted. Remi I felt defiantly fell first for Audri. Their chemistry was explosive. Remi would do anything Audri asked him to do. The story was wonderfully written, and I loved the story plot. Meeting the supporting characters made me want to have their own books. Reading them talk about WaterFyre Rising, made me wish that the game a real. I definitely would’ve bought it and played it! Meeting Royce in the first book with Remi and Audri was awesome. I was hoping that he would get his own book. Michelle is Audri’s best friend in book one. In book two she is on a trip when she meets Royce. They become fast friends, and they discover what they both have been missing when one takes the plunge. Royce meets Michelle’s monster head on and makes her felt loved. Michelle fills the void that he has in heart. But will their past’s come back and ruin everything they’ve worked so hard to forge? Nadia is an amazing story-teller and I have loved both books of hers so far! I can’t wait to read about the next friend!

Each and every book of the WaterFyre Rising Books has been absolutely phenomenal and this book definitely fits the mold. This is a second chance romance that is wonderfully well written. This book focuses on Kiera and Forrest and has a major focus on what happens when one is faced with having to choose between getting revenge and saving someone. This added a very interesting element to the plot that made it impossible for me to put down. I loved watching Kiera and Forrest together and seeing them navigate their complicated situation. Both characters were well developed and believable. I definitely found myself really rooting for them both. I definitely recommend picking this one and the rest of the series!

This is the second book in the WaterFyre Rising Series. It is such a good book that really has it all and is impossible to put down. It has romance and mystery. It also has a plot that sucks you in from page one and really doesn’t let you put it down until the last page. Royce is such an interesting character. He is such a thrill seeker and really is a protective alpha. Michelle is a very relatable character. She has such depth to her and is really flawed in a relatable way. This book is filled with adventure and sexual tension. It also is filled with twists and turns. I definitely recommend picking up this book, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series as this was such a good read to me!

These two!!! Wow do they have chemistry! It is literally leaping off the pages! That helped entrance me into the story and then I really just went along for the ride! This is the fourth book in the series and it is my second favorite. Forrest and Kiera are both amazing. Each one has their own thing going on and when they are together its fire! He has the whole vendetta going on then he gets involved with Kiera and maybe that vendetta is not as important as it once was. The many changes he goes through during this action packed story are wonderful. That epilogue was perfect and actually even before that (maybe the previous chapter) so sweet! Kiera really gets Forrest!

These two keep crossing paths and this time it happens to be in Texas. Both are there on business, but things take a turn when Kiera is kidnapped and is on the verge of going missing forever. She doesn’t know it but Forrest would do anything for her. He shows up in the nick of time but danger is still lurking around the corner. Will they be able to thwart it and be happy? I have enjoyed this series since book one. Every book has had a unique perspective pertaining to the main character particular talents and they have been enjoyable. In The Inquistor we got to see Kiera and Forrest go from being friends to more organically. No insta love here, not that there is anything wrong with that of course. All of these books have been well written and they don’t have to be read in order to understand anything that is happening, although I do highly recommend doing so. Bravo to the author on another amazing book in the WaterFyre Rising series. I can’t wait to read the next installment.

Forrest is a successful Doctor, the top in his field but what is under the calm persona is a man fired up for revenge of his family. With his search for the last member of the most dangerous gang who wreck his world, but he does not know this may will put someone who becomes special to him in the firing line.

Kiera has just finished a photography job and is on her way to Texas to start another one, but when she goes out with friends she meets him, the attraction is like lightening in the air but when things take a turn and Kiera is kidnapped she becomes lost and scared, but there is a beacon of light when in the crowd of the auction she spots him, Forrest her knight come to recuse her.

Can there relationship grow when she does not really understand the handsome man in front of her?

Oh my lord, what a story. I have read all the other WaterFyre Rising books and all are brilliant but this just seems a bit more dark and thrilling. As I have read the other books this is not a requirement for you to enjoy this book as it ca be read as a stand alone story but I recommend reading the others for your enjoyment.

This story takes you more into Forrest’s mind and vendetta against the criminals who murdered his family and does go dark more than the other stories, but adds more shadow into the story. The relationship between Forrest and Kiera is soft and slow at the beginning but once they get to know each other it ignites into a passionate chemistry between the two.

The story is told in dual POV which also adds a layer to the story as you get to understand both feelings and anxiety with each other. Kiera is a great strong female and I feel she just grows more as the story goes on, although we get a hint of Forrest in the other books it is great to read his story and that he finds a happy ending in the end.

The story as always is well written and such fast pace that you hardly notice that you are half way through in the middle of the night lol. I love the style and the characters are rich and although there are some topics which you may feel its hard to read the author writes with respect and care which just adds to the story and injection compassion.

Thank you for this wonderful insight into the friend again, fingers crossed there is another book in this series.

Her writing skills bring life to the story and details that make them realistic. This book is no different. This is a well written story where the characters pull you into their story with ease and keep you there until the end. The characters are relatable and connectable. They have great growth and chemistry throughout the story. This is a fast paced story about second chance romance with a touch of suspense added. Where a decision between revenge or the person you love has to be made. You don’t want to miss what happens with these characters. I highly recommend this book.

I love the series. Suspense and romance where could you go wrong. The Inquisitor is the next book in the WaterFyre Rising Series. So the basic back story is this group of friends is tasked to create a level in a video game they are trying to release based on their local WaterFyre festival. So in saying that each book focuses on one of the guys building the game. Do you need to read the previous books? No not really but doing so makes the series better. The author takes the reader on a suspenseful adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t want to put it down. You will definitely want more.
Kiera and Forrest had a one off night that changed their dynamic as friends and their friend’s circle. Little do they know that they’re pinning for each other. Both ending up in Texas for work, they have a 2nd chance to discover what they missed out on. However that comes at a price, their lives seem to be in danger. Someone is out to get both of them and is clearly sending messages that shouldn’t be ignored. But what’s the reason? What enemy is after them? Forrest is doing everything he can to figure it out and keeps those he holds dear safe from harm.
I loved this book and If you have already I encourage you to start the series. It’s totally worth it!!

The Inquisitor is the fourth book in the WaterFyre Rising series by Nadia Han. It is a fantastic romantic suspense with a second chances/friends to lovers element, intrigue, danger, mystery, tension, chemistry, sizzle, drama, agendas, damsel in distress element, alpha-male type billionaire doctor, family, friendship, emotion, abduction, human trafficking, violence, and deadly developments.
Ms. Han certainly knows how to weave an engrossing story and she always manages to pull me in from the get-go and keep me glued to the pages, devouring the words to discover how it all plays out in the end.
I have loved this series from the very first book, and each instalment since just seems to get better. Each new release always becomes my favourite till the next one knocks it off its throne. As was the case here.
I loved the backstory behind how ‘WaterFyre’ came about, and that aspect of the series has always intrigued me. The group of WaterFyre men each get their own book, so each could be read as a standalone. But in saying that, I highly recommend reading the entire series, from the beginning, because they are each fantastic stories in their own right and each book lets us get to know one of the WaterFyre men, and their love, in much more depth.
This is Forrest and Kiera’s story. Forrest is the Inquisitor of WaterFyre (yes, I have mentioned that name several times now and if you don’t know what that is, you really should read the book to find out what it is all about) and a billionaire doctor and a protective alpha type male. He comes to the rescue when Kiera is abducted and put to auction by human traffickers. Things are about to get complicated, in more ways than one. What happens makes for some intense, engrossing, and dramatic reading.
Looking forward to the next release – ‘The Strategist’ (Book #5).
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Nadia Han!

Oh, this is just as good as the others in the series have been. An intense and dark at times story, there are topics that are hard to read about in here. Our two main characters are somehow made for each other yet shouldn’t be together. The challenge is that they won’t let that stop them. The story is fantastic. It is nonstop action. It is dark, romantic, troubled and yet, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The characters are very well-developed. Grandma Moreno is the one that sticks out to me. She has persevered through much and is like the matriarch of the bunch. I look forward to what is next in the series.

In this the fourth book we get Kiera’s and Forrest’s story. They are fully realised with a complexity to them. It is told in dual POVs which I love as I love getting the inside thoughts of the characters instead of it being one sided.
This second chance romance is over 400 pages but that soon flies by as you become lost in Nadia’s narrative because it has a little of everything. The suspense, intrigue and mystery are intricately and cleverly woven together by Nadia to give the reader an intense read.
The engaging plot had me engrossed and eagerly turning the pages waiting to see how it all unfolds. The story is full of human trafficking, danger and deadly secrets, lies and drama, tragedy, angst and let’s not forget the steamy romance.

Forrest is living a life that has kept him in the dark side of life. He knows he shouldn’t, but she is his light, but she is off limits.
I look forward to seeing what Nadia gives us next.

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising Book 4) by Nadia Han
Genre – Romantic Suspense
Page Count – 420
Cover Designer – Nadia Han

If he is the devil, she is the light that makes him betray the darkness.

Inquisitive, focused, and gorgeous, Forrest Navarro is a hotshot doctor who can cure just about anything—except his attraction to an irresistible woman. Though she tempts him like an unforgiving addiction, she is the remedy he has been waiting for and the reason he will destroy the world to keep her safe.

Imaginative, down-to-earth, and striking, Kiera Ford is a fashion photographer grappling with adversity. Things go from bleak to terrifying when she is abducted and auctioned to the highest bidder. But hope sparks when she sees a familiar face in the crowd . . .

Her shooting star.

Her unforgettable one-night stand.

Her savior.

As chaos erupts around them, Kiera clings to the fragile threads of life while Forrest is trapped between a personal vendetta and saving the woman he loves.

The Inquisitor is a second chance, friends to lovers, morally gray billionaire hero, and  suspenseful contemporary romance. It is Book Four in the WaterFyre Rising series but can be read as a standalone.
