I loved this story so, so much! Every time I read a book by this author I know that I am in for a brilliant read and yet again she didn’t disappoint with this opener to her new series. Adrian …. What can I say about Adrian – he was just one of the best characters I’ve read about this year, I think I fell in love with him the very first moment I started reading about him. I love how he stepped up as soon as he though Brinley was in trouble. He’s definitely the type of person you want to protect you in a scary situation. I liked Brinley too, she was a really down to earth character who really just wanted a quiet life with her friends. Overall I really loved this story and I’m exciting to read about more of the characters in the next story.

Brinley and Adrian are brilliantly written! Brinley is no stereotypical, weak female but Adrian is still the strong, male protector which I love! I love the town of Morris Valley and its many characters – young and old, they’re all brilliant! Definitely looking forward to reading more in this series!

This was a good 5 star read. Brinley had a good group of friends, when her family moved she tried to stay in touch with her friends. She has accomplished quite a bit, she is an olympian. When she is put in danger she decides to go home. When she meets Adrian there is an instant connection. Adrian had no plans for a relationship but something about Brinley calls to him. When her stalker comes to town things take a scary twist. Will Adrian be able to keep her safe? Will this bring them closer? I really enjoyed all of the characters, they added a great element to the story. The author pulled me in with her writing and I didn’t want to put it down. I look forward to reading more from her. 1- click and get started today.

An enjoyable storyline and filled with memorable characters. The story has ups and downs that kept me interested and turning pages. The characters are plentiful and fun. The rancher and the gunslinger are the two main characters who have a wonderful story and their chemistry is off the charts! They each come with a gaggle of friends who all have different personalities that make me excited for their stories.
Overall this is a wonderful new start to this series. It is exciting, romantic and suspenseful. I look forward to more!

I really enjoyed this romance story. It is a very sweet small town romance which has an element of danger. It is the first in the Morris Valley Gang Series.I loved the characters and their development through the story. The author does an amazing job of making the characters likeable and relatable. The feelings and emotions of this story really come though and you can’t help be swept away along with Brinley and Adrian.
Brinley leaves her home town and her circle of friends behind as a kid when her parents move her to Texas. Since they she has worked hard and has become a successful shooter. Now however she feels its time to return home, back to her friends and the place she always felt safe in and hopefully away from a stalker. All she is hoping is to reunite with her friends and go back to a quiet life that is until Adrian walks into her life.
Adrian is a local rancher. Every since he got his heartbroken he keeps to himself working on his family ranch and not entertaining love until he meets Brinley. As the connection grows what starts as a fling has the potential to become something more for them both, however danger is still lurking in the shadows and when Brinley’s stalker returns Brinley is in danger again.
Can Adrian protect Brinley from this danger? Will Brinley stay with him and her friends despite the danger or will she feel the need to run again and in doing so break Adrian’s heart. The connection between Adrian and Brinley practically jumps off the page and their attraction is what captives the reader with the added danger this is definately a romance that you won’t be able to put down. I can’t wait to read more.

We meet Brinley and Adrian in this story. The sharp shooter and the ranch man. Brinley has a group of friends from when she was little and had to move away to Texas, who when she comes for a visit and escape, all jump on board to help her when she finds that her stalker followed her to town. What she really doesn’t expect is Adrian. The instant spark and attraction. Adrian isnt expecting it either after he was hurt from an ex. He needs someone willing to accept him for who he is and how his lifestyle on the ranch is. These 2 hit it off right away and while fast you could feel the passion and care they had for each other. But when Brinley decides to draw out her stalker things don’t go to plan. I cannot wait to read more from this town and group of friends.

I loved this book! Brinley and Adrian’s story was spell binding! Mr. Grump beloved by all his small town, find Ms. Sunshine who is running from her own dark secrets. Add in the small town setting, a group of fabulous friends, and endless opportunities to see the story continue as the other’s find their own ways! What is there not to love about it?!?!?! I pretty sure I visually inhaled this book in one sitting and I cannot wait for more. Read it and fall in love with Brin and Adrian just like the rest of us did!

I adored this book as it follows Brinley returning home to lay low and hide from her stalker. This is where she meet cowboy Adrian who has lived in town since shortly after she moved away. This means they ended up having the same circle of friends but never meet until she returns. The attraction between them is clear from the beginning and IRight in Front of You, Morris Valley Gang Series, Brooke May, Review, Itsy Bitsy Book Bits, Western, Romance just thought Adrian was the sweetest thing. Brinley was a strong female character and I really liked her relationship with her friends as well. I am a sucker for the kind of books where the man needs to protect or rescue the female and I really appreciated that the stalker part and climax of this book was not too intense and brutal. It was just suspenseful enough to get the point across but not too intense that I was overwhelmed reading about what happens to her. This wrapped up so nicely and it is clear they were meant for each other and I just loved the way it all came together. TO

I must just start off by saying this is my favourite by far ! I’ve read a few of Brooke’s books but Brinley and Adrian are my favourite ❣️📚
Brinley lived in Morris Valley for a while and she had a tight friend group , they were more like sisters than friends but her family moved away and the youngsters promise to always be in contact and bless their hearts they do so it’s only natural for Brinley to head home , to her safety net when things with her stalker get a bit much …..
My first introduction to Adrian had me in stitches and reminds me of my own farmer husband who is allergic to coming into town and having to pay for coffee when the perfect cup can be brewed at home 🤣 doesn’t say much and isn’t a fan of change so I just fell in love with Adrian at first “ read” ❣️😉
Adrian is loved in his little town but he’s also known to be the grump and most want to set him up with a woman especially the older ladies , like Polly 🤣 but his friends also try with disastrous results like Delilah but again dearest Polly was his saving grace 🌸🤣🙈
Adrian is a hard worker and loves his family ranch with a passion , his dad and him live a rather quiet life until Brinley comes along and brightens it with her sunshine ❣️
Brinley is home to breathe and hide from her stalker but she’s also considering putting her Olympic Gold Medal for shooting to good use , if settling down in a small town, she can give proper gun training to folks or have an upgraded range , she has options but watching her find love was a gift❣️
Adrian let’s Brinley come and “ hide out “ on the farm and instead of a wallflower he gets someone that loves to work the land like he does and watching things unfold between was a real treat and if ever there was a perfect match it would be these 2 ❣️
Clover, Lexy , Lilly, Julia , Mina , Eliza are the best friends a girl could ask for and their bonds are unfailing , these friends made want to climb into my book and join in in their antics , fun , laughter , tears and life ❣️
Nash, Gage , Gentry and Beckett are good guys and real characters that keep and eye on Adrian so they’re all stoked when their friend friend finds his HEA

Romance AND suspense… Say no more. This was an awesome book that hooked me and reeled me right in right until the very end. Stalking, and a romance that made me swoon with two main characters that were written in the heavens. I couldn’t even think of anything I didn’t enjoy. It was just good, all the way to the end! Grab it, read it, love it. Where Brooke May is concerned there are no disappointments!

This book is book one of the series. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by this author and as usual I wasn’t disappointed.
Brinley had to leave her friends behind and while they stayed as close as they could, time will tell as Brinley is moving back to Morris Valley. The only issue is, somewhere along the way she gained a stalker and now she’s realizing, maybe she needs some protection. Adrian is a rancher. It’s not what most people expect so when people find, namely woman, they don’t tend to stick around. Brinley isn’t most women. Adrian can already tell. She is a breath of fresh air he didn’t know he needed. Once he finds out that Brinley needs protection, he makes it his mission to make sure she’s safe. Is there more between these two than just keeping her safe?
I enjoyed this book. It was different than most I’ve read in terms of Brinley’s job. It was a refreshing change of pace. Adrian is a little alpha and very protective and I just love a protective hero. This was a good read!!

Brindley has known her path in life from the beginning, from the army to the Olympics and a gold medal winner but now she feels like she is drifting not really knowing what she wants to do or were to live, but when she receives another message from her stalker, she is drawn straight back to where is comfortable with friends, Morris Valley.
Adrian has responsibilities ever since he chooses to live with his dad on the ranch at 14, he has been drawn to this little town, but over the years it has been changing and he feels like he is becoming a grumpy old rancher with not many prospects, until his friends decide he needs a girlfriend and what harm can that be? As his friends start setting him up with girls, he starts to think this is an endless task until one night in walks Brindley and changes his mind forever.
This is not the first book I have read by this author, and this will not be the last. I love the way the author has the ability to create characters are relatable to and that you feel you are their best friends, and you are involved within the story. Brindley’s character is so relatable and the interaction between her friends is just great to read. Adrian’s character as the brooding rancher was a great opposite to Brindley’s character and the chemistry was off the page.
I thought the story was well written and the twists and turns in the story added to the romance and building up of the relationship between the two of them. I can’t wait to read more in this series and get to see things develop for all the characters in this book, especially Clover I hope she gets a happy ever after.

Absolutely loved this book, and cannot wait to read more in this series! Shooting was always mine and my dad’s thing, it was a passion we shared. When I opened this book and realized what Brinley’s career was I instantly thought of my dad. When Brinley and her family move at the age of 10, she and her friends make a blood pact to remain best friends forever. Time and distance does nothing to change the bond they all share. She has major success in her life and becomes a world renowned marksman and olympian. A crazy stalker threatens her happy life. She returns home to Morris Valley to take time for herself and reconnect with her lifelong friends, but it doesn’t come without a lot of excitement. Brinley meets the private and somewhat reclusive Adrian and it’s instant attraction between the two. He will go to any lengths to protect Brinley and keep her safe. The twist this book takes was totally unexpected. I figured her stalker would be someone she knew, but it was not at all who I would have guessed!

4/5 stars This is the first read in the emerging series and it was okay. I feel like the execution could’ve been better but it was still good. The storyline was solid but I do feel it was rushed. I would’ve liked to see the stalker portion played out a little more with a little more mystery.

This is such a fun romantic story. Brinley left Morris Valley years ago when her family moved. Her friends and her made a pact that they would stay friends forever. They all did their best to stay friends, but miles and miles separated them. Brinley served in the military and now is traveling as a rep for a gun company. She is currently working as an expert on a documentary set showing how guns work. What she doesn’t expect is that a stalker she thought was gone would reappear. The authorities have been working to solve who this stalker is and ensure her safety. But somehow this stalker has managed to get onto a closed set, into her trailer and leave her a note. She doesn’t want to admit how scared she is. So she is going the only place that has ever felt home – Morris Valley – to the friends that have never forgotten her. Adrian is a rancher through and through. Ranching takes every minute of his time and all of his energy. He would love to find a woman that he can come home to at the end of the day. But he has literally never found a woman who can share her heart with ranching. The one woman he thought would be able to, he discovered was cheating on him. So he has been incredibly jaded and is happy to be with his cattle and his sheep. Their paths cross and sparks fly. They both need each other in so many different ways. I truly loved their connection. I love all the characters in Morris Valley and I cannot wait to see what comes next in the series. I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorites.

I loved Brinley and Adrian’s connection and the development of their story, as well as the whole cast of characters! I can see the future stories lining up with the cast! The characters are likable and are developed well, which is something I really value as a reader and draws me into the story….and who doesn’t love a broody rancher. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Brinley and her friends make a blood promise pact as kids that they would always keep in touch and always be friends. Brinley’s parents move her to Texas for her mom’s work and this pact was made minutes before she left the only home she ever knew.
Fast forward a few years and Brinley has completed her military service and is an Olympic athlete. She’s just coming off tour when she has a stalker that just won’t leave her alone. Brinley decides to go back to her hometown and catch up with her friends. Not much had changed in her hometown except the addition of Adrian.
Adrian is a tall drink of water and is also super quiet and reserved. He’s a rancher who prefers to stay to himself but when he sees Brinley and she’s hanging out with his friends, he has to get to know her. He never predicts just how much they need each other, but especially Brinley when her stalker hunts her down.
I loved the mystery of this book! It made for a pleasant story with a good plot line. This is the first book in a new series by this author. I look forward to seeing where this series goes!

Right in Front of You is the first book in the Morris Valley Gang series by Brooke May. I always look forward to reading Ms. May’s stories, as she never fails to deliver an engrossing read. This turned out to be one of my favourites of hers, so far- and I am really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the series holds. This is a western, small-town romance with cowboys, a protective MC, drama, danger, humour, witty banter, chemistry, sizzle, connection, emotion, and more. Brinley Moore has returned to Morris Valley, the place she feels most like home- and to the friends she had left behind. She doesn’t expect to find a connection with the quiet, but hunky cowboy. Sprinkle in a little danger, and a protective cowboy, and this story takes an interesting turn. Looking forward to Book #2! Happy Reading…

I absolutely adore this book! I love when I get so lost in a book that I don’t realize how much I’ve actually read. I didn’t check the page number one time till I finished it…that’s how much it caught my attention. Brinley and Adrian are absolutely adorable. Adrian is having trouble finding the “one” so when Brinley catches his eye…he’s instantly drawn to her. Adrian wants a woman that understands his life and Brinley is THAT woman. They have a lot on common. And I love a good spicy read as well! And this book had plenty of it. There’s a little bit of suspense and drama and it was a good add to this! I really enjoyed this! I can’t wait for the next book to read about Lilly ♥️

Brinley Moore is in desperate need of a vacation, but she wants to go somewhere where her stalker will not be able to find her. She has no idea who he is, but she certainly doesn’t want to be in his path. Heading back to the one place that holds her heart is just what she needs.
Adrian Cook lives to work on his ranch that he shares with his father. His grumpy behavior though has his friends determined to find him a woman. Adrian doesn’t believe any woman would sign up to be with a man who is dedicated to his ranch, but he has not met Brinley yet.
This was a quick paced romance. I liked both Adrian and Brinley, Adrian is a bit gruff initially but you warm to him as the story progresses. I am definitely eager to see if the other characters get their own story, they were an interesting group of characters.

I absolutely loved this book and can totally relate to Brinley. She and her girls are best friends forever. She ends up moving away and they promise to keep in touch which they do as much as possible. Brinley is all over the place shooting documentaries ever since she was in the Olympics.
She has a stalker that seems to always know where she is and decides it’s time to go back to her hometown of Morris Valley and visit her girlfriends while someone else tries to go to a different location making her think her stalker is with her instead of back with her friends. While staying with friends she meets Adrian who is a tall, dark, muscular rancher who is quite good looking. Both have their eyes set in eachother but, Brin is only visiting. Adrian usually works very long hours on the farm and no one really understands it but Brin definitely gets it because her family has a farm back home. When Brinley’s stalker makes it known that he/she knows where she is, Adrian offers to bring her to the farm which is somewhat further from town and vows to keep her safe.
One night all the girls, Adrian and the guys go out to a bar and think they have a well thought out plan to keep Brinley safe. Adrian doesn’t like the plan at all to use her as bait but decides to go along with it. What could possibly go wrong with about 10 sets of eyes watching one girl in a bright shimmery dress? This book was great. I loved it from beginning to end. I loved the friendship between Brinley and her girls. Great characters, great storyline.

An enjoyable and engaging romance, which had me hooked throughout. Brinley is an Olympian shooter, who returns to her childhood home of Morris Valley when she’s in danger from a stalker. She’s always kept in touch with her group of friends, and so was looking forward to being one of the ‘tribe’ again. Whilst in the local pub she’s introduced to rancher Adrian Cook, and their chemistry is instant. Adrian loves being a rancher but remains single after his last girlfriend left having discovered that being a rancher is not how it looks on the TV. As Brin and Adrian, with some help from Miss Polly get to know each, Brin’s stalker turns up and she’s once again in danger. Adrian, along with her friends hatch a plan to help keep her safe. Although their relationship started as a fling they both feel that it could be something deeper, but Brin never planned on staying. I loved all the characters in this romantic suspense and the plot kept me gripped. The descriptive narrative brought both the small town setting and the characters vividly to life, making me feel immersed in the storyline. The chemistry between Brin and Adrian sizzled off the page and led to some romantic, but steamy scenes. I also liked how their connection developed over the story, and enjoyed the interactions and banter between the friends. I really felt as though I was one of the Morris Valley gang and I look forward to reading each characters story.

5 Stars Right in Front of You (Morris Valley Gang Book 1) by Brooke May
Right in Front of You is a wonderfully written Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing along with amazing characters that are fully developed and relatable make for a wonderful story. This series is off to a great start. This s Brinley and Adrian’s story. Brinley moved away from Morris Valley when she was younger she tried to keep in touch with her friends the best she could. Now she is coming back and hopefully her stalker will still away. Adrian is a Rancher and a protector by nature so when she needs protection he will do anything and everything to keep her safe. These two have some serious chemistry between them. Can he be what she needs? Can these to have a relationship? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her books are engaging and well written. I have enjoyed her books from the first one I picked up and this one is no different. This is a romance story about going home for safety but the danger comes with you. You meet a steamy rancher who comes to the rescue but will he rescue more than just you? This is a great story where the characters pull you into the story from the start. The author used details making their story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in their world or even being friends with them. They are strong, supportive characters that I just fell for. I enjoyed watching their growth and chemistry throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. This is one of my favorites by this author. I highly recommend this book and this author.

What a brilliant romance story and an amazing start to a new series. I loved the characters right from the start. They really grabbed my attention as they had such as strong chemistry. Their interactions were entertaining and you could easily see the connection between them. The book is well written and is a great storyline. It fits the characters well and really sets the scene of what you can expect from this series. I think this is a brilliant book that I thoroughly enjoyed and I cannot wait for the rest.

4.5 stars Right in Front of You is the first book in the Morris Valley Gang romantic series. I really enjoy Brooke’s stories and was excited to see this new book was out. This is one of my favourites from her. It is easy to fall in love with the characters and the charming small town and the locals. Brinley Moore comes back to the one place that felt like home Morris Valley. To the friends she left behind. However, she finds more than she bargained for in one tall dark and quiet cowboy. The only thing was coming home was supposed to keep her safe. Adrian Cook came to the small town to start a new life leaving his past in the past. Unfortunately it is that same past that isn’t quite conducive to relationships. That is until a one Brinley Moore breezes into town and in to his life. The only thing is can he keep her safe? With good friends, one hot rancher, a stalker and a steamy romance Right in Front of You: Volume One: Brinley & Adrian has everything you need to escape for a few hours with a glass of wine.

This is one heck of an exciting romance. Brinley just wants some peace. She’s trying to get away from a stalker. She goes to visit friends and meets the hot Adrian. Oh my, do the sparks fly. I love the chemistry with these two. The interactions are witty and quite entertaining. Their friends, seeing as they both know the same people, are quite relatable and entertaining also. There is some baggage and drama in the group that I look forward to reading about in further books. The story is feels like you’re hanging out with them. This author has a way of writing that puts you right into the story also so that you are experiencing everything. You feel the emotions, etc. It’s a terrific romance that I recommend you must read. Adrian and Brinley are now on my list of favorite characters.

Brooke lives in North Central Wyoming with her husband she affectionately refers to as the warden, their two wild and crazy boys, and her yellow lab, Timber.
When she doesn’t have her nose in a good story, Brooke enjoys spending as much time as she can outside. Walking around town, fishing, hunting, hiking, and messing around the mountains, Brooke loves the great outdoors which shows up quite a bit in her works.
Brooke has been writing and telling stories since she was old enough to get someone to sit and listen to her, mainly being her best friend. She started off posting fanfictions and then decided to publish when she was on maternity leave with her youngest. A year later My Cowboy came out.
Brooke doesn’t just write one type of romances, but loves to explore as many as her mind can come up with.
Her hobbies outside of reading are landscape photography, drawing, and just being outside where she can get dirty.
