Right in Front of You (Morris Valley Gang Book 1) by Brooke May – Review by Angela Shirley
Right in Front of You: Volume One Brinley and Adrian by Brooke May
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Brindley has known her path in life from the beginning, from the army to the Olympics and a gold medal winner but now she feels like she is drifting not really knowing what she wants to do or were to live, but when she receives another message from her stalker, she is drawn straight back to where is comfortable with friends, Morris Valley.
Adrian has responsibilities ever since he chooses to live with his dad on the ranch at 14, he has been drawn to this little town, but over the years it has been changing and he feels like he is becoming a grumpy old rancher with not many prospects, until his friends decide he needs a girlfriend and what harm can that be?
As his friends start setting him up with girls, he starts to think this is an endless task until one night in walks Brindley and changes his mind forever.
This is not the first book I have read by this author, and this will not be the last. I love the way the author has the ability to create characters are relatable to and that you feel you are their best friends, and you are involved within the story. Brindley’s character is so relatable and the interaction between her friends is just great to read. Adrian’s character as the brooding rancher was a great opposite to Brindley’s character and the chemistry was off the page.
I thought the story was well written and the twists and turns in the story added to the romance and building up of the relationship between the two of them. I can’t wait to read more in this series and get to see things develop for all the characters in this book, especially Clover I hope she gets a happy ever after.
