I’d heard a lot about this book in some of my friend’s circles, and I knew I had to give it a try. What a book. This is one of the most riveting books I’ve read, honestly. It’s a story of clarity, mystery, and a search for truth. I’m not someone who reads a lot of psychological thrillers, but this one was so hard to put down! I loved watching the development of the characters as the story went on. The determination, the suspense, just everything about it is utterly fantastic. Highly, highly, recommend this book, and this author!

This book was a must read for sure, one that could not be put down for any reason! It gripped me, and held me at a stand still, I constantly wanted to know more to reach the truth! Outstanding writing!

Nothing can compare to a mother’s quest for the truth. Especially when she believes that what she has been told is wrong compared to what she thinks.. A mother will do anything for her daughter, even in death, that is certain. As a reader, I was at Catherine’s side trying to seek out the truth referring to Susie. The more answers we got, the more things built up and questions came to light. I was constantly trying to figure out the truth, only to hit a wall each and every time. Catherine wanted the truth, she was a very admirable character. Everything leads up to the shocking end, which I must say I was not prepared for, and it was jaw dropping! The character development was done with excellent writing. Great build up of suspense. And a story that is woven that makes you guess as the pages turn. An amazing read and impossible to put down! Loved it!

Such a good book with such good writing. Very impressed with this author for me! I cannot wait to read more works by them! Highly recommend this must read thriller book and author! Do not pass up!!!

And Then She Fell by Dreena Collins is an intriguing women’s fiction story with crime and investigation, grief, loss, heartache, mystery, danger, drama, emotion, and interesting developments. This is the first book that I have read from this author, so I was curious by what I might find. The blurb intrigued me enough to want to explore the book- so I grabbed a copy and jumped right in.
The premise is intriguing right from the outset, and the author cleverly weaves a story that caught me in her snare and held my attention the whole way through. I read avidly, all the while trying to piece everything together and figure out what had actually happened before the ‘big’ reveal’- but Ms. Collins managed to keep me guessing the whole way through.
I really felt for Catherine, as a mother I can only imagine the devastation I would feel at the loss of one of my children- let alone under such a suspicious note. If I felt there was questionable circumstances around the death of my child, like Catherine, I would definitely want to know more and get to the bottom of what actually happened. The ending was definitely unexpected…
A cleverly crafted and engrossing read…
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Dreena Collins!

I was pulled into this book from the beginning. I was originally drawn to this book by the front cover, but once I read the synopsis I I knew I had to read it, and once I started I simply couldn’t put it down. The drama, the suspense, and all of the emotions in this amazing thriller will take you on an emotional Roller coaster ride. The story is original, the characters are perfectly developed and the book as a whole is the best thriller that I’ve read this year. So if you’re looking for your next great read, then make sure you pick this one up today.

And Then She Fell is the story of a mother who believes there is more to her daughter’s death than she has been told. See what happens when she is determined to find out.

This original and clever psychological thriller is told with ten different accounts but only one is the truth. Which one do you think is real? I am not going to reveal anything about this tale as it is one that plays on your mind and needs to be discovered all for yourself.

Maybe the truth is a bitter pill and is better left where it was. Maybe you did not want to uncover the life she led.

You will not believe the ending.

I have not read anything by Dreena before now I look forward to reading more of her stories.

Woah, I didn’t expect that ending!! Im shocked actually. This is my first book by Dreena and it was such a huge page turner for me. Book is about a mother who’s daughter died from falling off a balcony. But she starts wondering if she fell or if someone pushed her. So she starts talking to her friends, her ex boyfriend and she’s starting to question what really happened! The way Dreena writes and the way she explains things in great detail, is simply amazing. Love love love her writing. If you want a book with suspense, this is the one for you. You think one person is a suspect but then you think someone else is too. You never really know what someone is capable of. I really enjoyed this book and I’ll be reading more of this authors work!

Tink
By: D.M. Earl
5*

This book focuses on a female MC Club. The Devils Handmaiden MC to be exact. The women in this club are the kind who have lived through hell and are now able to talk about it. Their mission is to save other women from living through their hell.
Tink is the main character and she is the president of the club. She is incredibly strong willed and determined. She would have to be to still be alive. She feels like her life is about to change in a major way. This is when she meets Noodles. They have amazing chemistry that just leaps off the page. However, this isn’t the time for Tink to really settle down. Instead all the businesses affiliated with the club begin to be sabotaged. To make things worse it seems like part of this is an inside job. Which means no one knows who they are able to trust. From there the plot just continues to build.
This is the start of what I am sure is going to be an amazing series. I loved this book and definitely did not want to put it down. If you are looking for a new series to get lost in, I strongly recommend this book.

I was pulled into this book right from the start. The narrator, Catherine, is English and talking to her dead daughter as though she can hear her mother. Catherine searches for the truth about her daughter Susie’s death a year prior. This book has a unique structure to let the reader view different scenarios to explain Susie’s tragic death. The reader needs to ask whether each scenario likely would have happened and question what really is the truth about that night. Collins skillfully written prose, will have you on the edge of your seat asking the same questions Catherine does and the ending takes you by surprise!

This is one of the oddest books I’ve read. It started like a mom that couldn’t accept her daughter’s death. As the story unfolded, more possibilities came to light (there are 10 in all.) I can’t tell you much about the story, you’ll have to read it for yourself. It is also one of the best stories I’ve ever read. You are led to think about what you are reading. I found the characters to be very interesting. There are several POV and this makes for a well rounded look at what could have happened to her and why she did what she did. The book is pretty powerful too. I found myself feeling some big emotions. I recommend this for those who can handle it. I also give a trigger warning!

Dreena did a really good job with this thriller. I kept trying to figure out what happened to Susie right along with Catherine only to be left puzzled and suspicious throughout the entire book. Dreena did an outstanding job developing her characters and even though Susie is deceased you got a sense of who she was right along with everyone else. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 stars

I love that the Devil’s Handmaidens MC is a multi-author world focusing on an all-badass female MC with various chapters and locations and glad that DM is a part of it.

Tink is told by DM Earl and is a story full of emotions, pain and sorrow, heartbreak and tormented souls. But for all that, these girls know how to kicka*$e. They will stop at nothing to stop those involved with the inhuman world of trafficking.

She is overwhelmed and has the weight of the world on her shoulders. He is looking for a fresh start and a certain fiery leader of an MC has caught his eye. Will her past keep them apart or will it bring them closer together?

What happens when the angel of death finally catches up to you? Will he be able to keep her safe.

There is plenty of tension and danger, angst and heartache, emotions and drama, hope and fear that kept me completely invested and wanting more.

I love DM’s work and I am gunning to read the other books by the authors involved.

5 Stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This story……wow!! I love how this author incorporates a new MC Chapter to her writing….and the Devil’s Handmaidens MC is all female, which I loved! This story has part that were definitely not easy to get though …the triggers were tough at times…but this author painted a picture that felt so raw and real.

Maggie aka “Tink” is president of the Devil’s Handmaidens and she and her MC family are all about helping rescue human trafficking victims. When in life this is what Tink does..she feels likes she is missing something and someone to share her life with. When Ellington aka “L” comes into town helping out and being an former SEAL….when Tink meets L the sparks fly off the charts!! What happens when something behind the very dark shadows is lurking around the Devil’s Handmaidens MC ranch that can put Tink and her MC Family in danger, especially when only a small circle of family and friends knows Tink’s past…..

I do not want to post any spoilers as I could go on and on about this book…but believe me this is a true must read. The story is raw and moments are dark for sure. I love the intertwining of the characters in this story especially Zoey “Shadow”. I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2 to see where this series takes me.

Tink is the first book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series by D.M Earl. It is a MC romance- a romantic suspense with plenty of emotion, danger, dramatic developments, trust issues, damaged characters, friendship, family (of choice), finding love unexpectedly, human trafficking element, finding purpose, finding where you belong, chemistry, tension, intensity, and camaraderie.
This isn’t my first read by Ms. Earl, and I know I can always count on her to deliver an intense read. Tink and Noodles story packs a bit of an emotional wallop and had me invested right from the start.
A great start to this new series… Looking forward to Book #2- ‘Shadow’.

Definitely needs a trigger warning! Tinks story was hard to get through. No girl let alone child deserves to go through was she did. She is an inspiration though to all women and the male characters are as well. The MC being a cover and what she actually does taking down sex trafficking rings is brave and amazing. Hannah and Shadow are two peas in a pod toward the end and I feel like there should be a book about just their relationship. Tank and Noodles are bad a’s for sure but have hearts for who they hold close. The character description is great as well as the acts that take place when they are torturing for information. Incredible story.

Maggie Rivers, or Tink as she is known by her club members, is kept busy as the President of the Devil’s Handmaidens. Her dark past is the driving force behind why she is determined to take down human smuggling rings and help those in need. Running the club, a business, and trying to take down human traffickers keeps her busy, but she still feels a void. When ex Navy Seal Ellington Rutledge, or Noodles as his club members call him, comes along to help with a sanctuary him and Tink feel an immediate attraction. Tink and Noodles are perfect for each other but will it last when her past comes back to haunt her?

I loved the strong female characters in this book. Although they were badass and belonged to a motorcycle club, they were doing good in the world as they tried to stop human smuggling. Each woman in the club had her own dark past and trauma which they overcame. This book was action packed and full of suspense throughout. I cannot wait to read the next book!

Tink (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book One)Tink by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in a new series called Devil’s Handmaidens MC. And wow what I start. I love any story that revolves around an MC but the majority of then are male dominated so it was really refreshing to read about a female MC. What I loved is that the women of this MC are just as loyal and fierce as any man and they will do what ever it takes to protect the people they care about.
This story is very emotional as well as Tink our main character is on the search for her sister who was kidnapped. Thinking she was taken into a traffic ring Tink and her fellow Handmaidens set out to save and take down as many of these trafficking as she can.
There is also an element of romance in this story when Noodles walks into Tinks life. Add to the romance the element of danger when Tinks life is put at risk and this is definately a story with something for everyone.

The question is will Tink ever find her sister? And when the past comes back to haunt her will her club and Noodle be enough to protect her.
I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read more about the Devil’s Handmaiden’s MC

Love this author truly, they never disappoint me in all they write and create. I was very much taken with this book, it was full of intrigue and strong female characters A book and series right up my alley!

Loved Tink and Noodles. Both had rough circumstances in the past, that have brought them to where they are in life. They were both strong leads. As well as that, they had very strong chemistry together. I loved what Tink stood for, she was in charge of a motorcycle group that helped women, from dangers they could come into, great cause I must say. All the members in this group, have been through the hardest of times, and are still standing. I loved the group for sure, but when you stand for the greater good, there are always others that want to bring you down, The book takes off really fast. A whirlwind kind of action and adventure. Was sucked in completely. Could not put it down! Exceptional reading by an amazing author! Loved it!

I loved this book with a passion, then again, its written by one of my favorite authors. I think it was a great start to a new series! I look forward to the next book! Highly recommend this must read book and author!

This is another winner in the MC books this author writes. I am a big fan of her Grimm Wolves series. Tink and her club were introduced in the last book. Tink is both vulnerable and strong. Shadow just has some serious issues but Is loyal to Tink and her family. The two of them make a good pair. We see new friends and some old friends pop up in this book. There is lots of drama, mystery/suspense, romance, and a bit of violence. Hey, it is an MC book. This is one of two of my favorite MC authors. She has a way of writing that grabs you in, sits you down, and says “don’t move until you finish this book.” Intensely entertaining, a little troubling, steamy romance and you have the best book you just might find this year in the romance genre. I can’t wait to read more.

The Fifth Daughter of Thorn Ranch by Julia Brewer Daily. I LOVED this book. Its so good and kept me up way too late flipping pages. Its the story of a large Texas Ranch, The Thorn. Emma the 5th generation of the family to run this ranch is in charge and is more than capable. She has finished Veterinary School with her degree and is ready to start working as soon as she gets there. When Emma takes a ride around the ranch to some of the more alienated areas she gets spooked and lost. When she is found it is by a group of people that are mostly unkown and they call themselves The People and they tell her of ancient myths and stories she has never heard. While Emma’s parents send out a frantic search for her, The People are scared that if they return her they will all be “taken care of”. Emma learns about this tribe of people, her ranch, secrets of the ranch and herself while she is “Kidnapped”. This story is full of mystery, ranching information and history. “A modern ranch with an ancient secret.”

The Fifth Daughter of Thorn Ranch by Julia Brewer Daily is a western women’s fiction story- a family saga with secrets, drama, mystery, family, conflict, kidnapping, suspense, adventure, action, romance, mother daughter relationship dynamics, and palpable tension.
Ms. Daily has written a richly detailed and vividly descriptive story- her attention to detail really makes this story come to life and has given the characters a realistic and believable quality. The story is told from several POV’s, moving from past to present and back again, which captures the complexities of the storyline really well, and gives the reader a really great vantage point from which to enjoy the story.
I thought the dramatic developments were really well crafted and made the story quite engrossing. This is my favourite of the two books of Ms. Daily’s that I have read, so far, and I look forward to seeing what she does next.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Julia Brewer Daily!

I have loved this author for all they create from a book I have read by them last year. Ever since I was hooked. This book hooked me just as much! The book had creativity, and screamed that wow factor!

The book was amazing as it was mysterious. I loved the feel I got as I read, you knew something was well not known at first glance with the ranch, but you didn’t have the clues just yet to decipher what it could be! I enjoyed Emma’s as a character as well! She was quite relatable. Sometimes what we think we want vs what people think we should want,….is not the case sometimes we value something no one, not even ourselves have thought of! I was very intrigued, and I wanted to learn the mystery, the author certainly kept me in suspense. When things came together I was more intrigued than ever! The author is amazing at capturing the reader as well as keeping you interested no matter what the story plot is. The book was a fantastic read. I do hope maybe for another installment down the line! Couldn’t get enough! Loved this book!

Amazing author that amazes my mind once again! I completely fell in love with this book and the writing. Defiantly a must read in my books! And most certainly a high recommendation from myself to you!

This was a really good book! It was a little difficult to get into at the beginning, but I’m glad I persisted and stuck it out because it was a really good story. It is inspiring, and is pretty motivating as well. I wish there wouldn’t have been such a big focus on weight but I guess if there wasn’t then this wouldn’t be a book! This is my first book from this author and I’m excited to read more in the future!
