The Permanence of Pain by Desiree Lafawn – Review by Jenni Bishop

The Permanence of PainThe Permanence of Pain by Desiree Lafawn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Permanence of Pain by Desiree Lafawn and is a good but quick read. Desiree knows how to write to connect you with the characters a feel a part of the story. This is a sad and yet funny and captivating story and a raw one at that, where our main character decides to take a good long look at herself. This story will take you on an emotional journey as she faces the trials and tribulations that make her more than she thought she could be. Watching her take back her life and finally stand up to the bullies was brilliant.

My only complaint is the story is too short. To see this made into a series would be good.
