Moments That Define Us (Gray Ghost #0.5)Moments That Define Us by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read this series from start to finish and I absolutely loved going back to how it all started. This is a prelude to the amazing Gray Ghost series. I think you can read this novella before or after you read the rest of the series. I absolutely love suspense in my romance and this author keeps on blowing my mind with her writing style. You can’t help not to fall in love with all of the characters. I was hooked from the first page and could not stop. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this perfect story.

Jack has a lot to deal with in his life. He lives with five other guys that don’t have family and he tries to keep their neighborhood safe. Jack is also in love with a girl that can put him into danger. He loves this girl so much but her brother hates him. When Jack and her brother Rex declare a turf war things get very ugly. Jack will do anything for the love of his life but will he pay with his own? Will Jack protect his family or will he end up having to choose?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and a lot of emotion. You will fall in love with all these characters. These guys will touch your hearts from all the hardships they have to go through at a young age. In the end they are family. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seats and leave you shocked. I’m so happy I read this book. It will give you a better understanding of how this series started. I can’t wait to see what this author will have for us next.
