The Jack (The Immortal Series Book Two) by M.K. Harkins – Review by Kerry Baker

The Jack (The Immortal Series Book Two)The Jack by M.K. Harkins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Jack by M.K. Harkins is the second book in The Immortal series. As good as the first book this book will be sure to keep you reading to the end.
Archer lives his life each day stuck between two opposing sides. A position he is responsible for since the betrayed he readers. It doesn’t matter that he saved them from destruction, only that he betrayed them in the first place.
So when he meets the immortal seer Sadie, he is not surprised to find out she is on a mission to destroy the remaining Jacks.
And yet the sparks between them are a bit hard to ignore. And when they are forced to work together more closely than anticipated it might be that the mission is no longer quite that simply.

This series is genuinely shaping up be to great. Another book that is just as riveting as the first was. I love the way this author fully immersed you in this world of Jacks and Readers. It is so easy to imagine yourself as part of the world they live in. I loved that you could also feel Archer’s turmoil and the difficult position he is in. This was a great book and I am looking forward to what else is to come.
