My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott, 4stars.

Mel’s mother calls right before Christmas and talks her into a big favor — to go to Spain to help out her aunt who is having surgery. She agrees, but little does she know just what she’s in for. After too many days of travelling, and too many layovers, she misses the ride her aunt provided for her. She is alone and helpless in a country where she doesn’t know the language. Relying on the help of strangers, she finally makes it to her aunt’s. But it is nothing like she remembered as a child. She now has a lot to take care of and and she doesn’t even know where to begin. Can she do this?

This a nice, fun little Christmas romance book. Not very long, it can be read in one sitting. Mel is a good main character, trying to deal with things she has never encountered before. The story itself is new and interesting too. Being out of your element, especially at Christmas, is quite hard. But she endures because this is family. This story will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between.

If you like fun Christmas romances, this book is for you.
