This is an interesting story about rebirth and rediscovery of life. It is a story that has many many layers to it and some interesting situations that I was not expecting.
I enjoy stories by this author – this one is just a little different than I expected. One of the problems I had was the Protagonist’s friend. Oh my gosh, I wanted to yell and tell her (the friend) how horrible she really is. With friends like her, who needs enemies.
The characters in this story are all flawed (just like everyone in life) and at times this story seemed so realistic while other times it was super mystical. There are definitely interesting metaphors in the story. At times I was cheering Columbine on and other times I was rolling my eyes at her.
There is a story within a story that was interesting to read along with the main story.
