Getting the Goods by Elizabeth Perry – Review by Liz Vrchota

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Uproariously good! Seriously, I laughed until I cried while reading “Getting the Goods.” I have not had the chance to read anything from Elizabeth Perry before I picked this one up, but I can assure you that it won’t be my last!

Gabby is turning thirty and really isn’t looking for love or a future with someone. The idea of a little one is another story. Her and her best friend hatch a schemingly crazy idea, one for the movie scripts, and set out to accomplish it. Of course, best laid plans…

Connor is an unsuspecting victim, in more ways than one. The one time he actually has more than a fleeting feeling for someone she wants to run away.

This was so much fun. The storyline added twists to something we are used to seeing in the rom-com category. The emotions were balanced and at the end I was fully invested in the characters and wanting more. Thanks for a great read! On to see what else Ms. Perry has to one-click!
