A Pink Christmas Kiss

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great read about trying again. When her father starts to become seriously ill, Billie leaves her career in New York to look after him and his mechanic company. Whilst there back at home, she starts to look at her life differently. When chance bumps her into old flame Leroy, can she follow her heart and do what is right?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Billie figuring out what she wants in life
I loved the sense of a small town with little shops and cobbled streets and sense of community everyone knowing each other. I also loved the contrasts like city and town or office and mechanic or city streets and the garden which was beautifully written.
The only issue I would raise is that there were a lot of long sentences which could be resolved with a variety of sentence lengths to grab the reader at the start. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.
