A Prickly Christmas Kiss, Christmas Kiss: Book One by Allyson R. Abbott. I have read other books by this amazing author and loved them! When I saw this book, i knew that I wanted to read it, especially during this holiday season. What a way to get into the spirit.A cute 4 star read for Mistletoe Kisses and Christmas Wishes by Allyson Abbott.
Emma or Elf as she is fondly known has just broken up with her boyfriend and has decided to go and spend the holidays with her friend at her family cabin. When she first arrives in North Polerton, yes that is the name of the town, the questionable incidents begin. She stops at the general store to stock up on food and supplies and there she meets the store owners, Mr. and Mrs. C. Conveniently, their credit card machine is down and she has to start a tab. On the way out she runs into Rudi, who just happens to have a little cold and a red nose. The little coincidences keep adding up and will keep you entertained throughout the entire book. When she realizes that her friend Carla is not going to be joining her, she thinks about just going home but then realizes that she could use this time alone. Thank goodness Rudi stops by the cabin the make sure she is ok. After spending time together and getting to know each other, a romance begins. Unbeknownst to them, that Carla orchestrated the entire thing.
