Awakening of a Soul Keeper is the prequel to The Soul Keeper series by Brienne Dubh. If this book is anything to go by, the series is set to be fantastic, and is off to a great start. This is my first read by Ms. Dubh and it certainly won’t be the last. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series and seeing what Ms. Dubh has in store for us. This is a really great story and I really liked the authors original twist to vampire lore- this paranormal story has action, some adventure, drama, violence, tension- and much more. It is a short story, which makes for a very quick and easy read. The characters are fully developed and interesting individuals who pulled me into the story and kept me reading, needing to know how it all plays out.
Well worth the read!
