I am so torn by this book. I don’t want to give anything of the story away so I can’t do a like/dislike list. What bugs me is that for everything I liked there was a reason to dislike an action as a result of the like. It could have been me and the place I was in when I read it so I’m not going to take any stars away because of it. I feel like I’ve read stories with the same like/dislike seesaw and always enjoyed them.

This story is a slow burn and is very light on foul language and sexy times. It’s more of a PG-17 (yes, I know that’s not really a movie rating). It is a full story with a very strong beginning, middle and end. You can immediately understand that the author had very clear plot points worked out in advance.

In addition to the main characters, there are some fantastic secondary characters who I would like to get to know more of. I see this being an ongoing series that I would enjoy reading.
