A Tendency Dark and Dangerous by Emmalyn Danvers is a love story with a difference. It is told in verse. It is twisted, sexy, thrilling and dark. I was instantly intrigued with what went in to a story that is written in free verse. Having never quite developed a love for poetry, I just felt I needed to experience all that is new to me and this exciting author had to offer. I was immediately glad I got to read this.

Evangeline coasts along in life, going with the flow. Landon changes all that. A hunger is awakened that she didn’t know existed. Career orientated, she embarks on an addictive, sensual journey of discovery. An emotional journey. Landon is sexy domination. Drawn to him like no other, he introduces her to lustful addiction. A gripping and intriguing story that has highs, lows, and everything in between. A mesmerising story. A beautiful story. And unlike anything I have previously read. 5 stars.
