An Italian Adventure by Gaia Amman is the first book in the Italian Saga series. This is a great book and has something for everyone. Leda is a precocious twelve-year-old who is developing into her teens. Her inner dialogue is fantastic and endearing. I could relate to her and her thoughts. She is a great character. The 80’s were a fun time to grow up and it was nostalgic to read. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to where the story will go in the books to follow.
