The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe
4 Stars!!!!

This is quite a refreshing read for me. I like how the author draws the characters together and how the past is such a major influence to the story. The book was so relatable and realistic. The book holds the reader’s interest and draws you into the world that is created.

Elena and West have such a magnetic chemistry that you can feel from the first time they see one another again after all the years they were apart. The reader can sense the tension and feel all the emotions that Elena goes through. I found myself routing for her and West. I like how the tension and drama is drawn out and there isn’t a quick end to the book. I really enjoyed how the author was able to draw it out and keep the reader engaged. I definitely will read more from this author in the future.
