The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe – Review by Sheri Schrader

The Memory of UsThe Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe is the story of Elena. She has come back home after her mother’s death and has to deal with the aftermath. The one person she does not want to see is Weston and back into her life he comes. Can she stand strong in all her grief and the past coming back to her?
This story is very emotional and powerful. Going back home to the life you left behind is hard but even harder with the death of a parent. Elena is a complex character. She is strong but can be weak at the same time. Weston is wonderfully written also. There are ups and downs and decisions that have to be made. The emotions are powerful and kept me reading to see where Elena would end up. This was a good read and overall I enjoyed it.
