I absolutely loved book 1 in this series so I was really excited to dive straight into book 2 and wow! It was such an amazing read, I didn’t think the author could top the first one but she really knocked it out of the park with this second book in this series. It can be read as a standalone however I would definitely recommend reading book 1 first. Again the author took me on an amazing literary journey with this book, it was so much more than I expected and I found myself on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion. I was gripped by the story line, the mystery of everything constantly had me guessing, it was unpredictable and the characters were amazing! The authors writing was so engaging and I found that I couldn’t (and didn’t want to) take my eyes off what I was reading.
If you are looking for a romance story with a dark, gritty mysterious undertone to it then I 100% recommend this book! I loved every second of it and I look forward to more from this talented author in the future.
