Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3)Caught in Make-Believe by Sharleen Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great read about the past.Jace Colton returns to Angel Beach after five years to try and rebuild .the life he lost. While there’s he meets the bubbly Samantha and is attached to her even though he won’t be staying for long. He falls for her but his past rears its ugly head. Can he put the past behind him for a new future?
A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like Jace cold and harsh but kind underneath or Samantha trying to keep positive despite being unlucky in love.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel in the sense of a small town with the beach and the bakery and small streets for a homely feel. Or in Emily’s house with the starfish and shells for a sense of the seaside and a conforting feel to the place.
The use of suspense was well written and drawn out to perfection to make you keep reading to find out what happened in the past..I also liked the use of blog entries into the story to portray Jaces thoughts and struggles for the journalistic feel which was a lovely touch. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars
