My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give The Case of Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery Book 6) by Nikki Broadwell, 5 stars.

Summer and her husband, who recently quit his job as a police officer, decided to open up their own private eye company. But business has been slow. When she is approached to solve a case of some missing books, she is intrigued. But it turns into so much more — murders, mystery, and the magical world all seem to play role in this case. What about Summer’s own shop? Not to mention, why is her husband acting weird? Can she solve this case or is she in over her head?

Ok, this book is a mystery involving books and the supernatural — that got my interest right there. This is the first book I’ve read in the series, so other than that, I had no idea what to expect. The story is wonderful and unique. It involves things I can’t say I’ve seen in books before. Plus there is plenty going on and it will keep you guessing until the end. Summer is a great main character too. I have to admit, her husband annoyed the heck out of me in the beginning, but trust me, there are reasons. And did I mention Summer has two cats and a dog? Such a plus!

This was a great paranormal mystery book that I highly recommended to others and cannot wait to read more of the series.
