The story A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is a book that has mystery and suspense. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until you have read the final page. It tells the tale of Abbey who learns that the man she met online and now has come to see in person is not who she thought he was. She finds herself abducted and held in a house in Nebraska. Far from home, she holds onto the hope of rescue and also looks for ways to escape. Cristina is Abbey’s best friend. She knows that something is wrong when she doesn’t hear from Abbey and can’t contact her. Cristina is stubborn, feisty, and not afraid to say what she thinks. She is also kind and won’t back down when she sets her mind to a task. She goes to the states in search of Abbey. Will Cristina be able to find the clues that will lead her to Abbey? Will Abbey be rescued? Read this book to find out. Following Cristina, while she tries to find Abbey is like trying to put together a puzzle. This is an exciting read that had my emotions going up and down all the time. Cristina and Abbey are best friends and you can feel how much they care about each other. There is emotional and intense dialogue. This is a book that I would recommend reading.
