The Chosen (The Orb Quest Series Book #1) by Cari Schaeffer is a wonderful magical Young Adult fantasy story. Cari has done a great job of writing a tale full of magic and adventure, danger and action. Cari has done a fantastic job of weaving this story that is so vivid and detailed that you can clearly picture it. It is captivating and unique and the characters are down to earth and relatable, if not a little quirky but endearing in their difference.
There is mayhem and suspense, action and magic that you will get lost in. This is a great start to the series and is one not to be missed. I can’t wait to see where Cari takes us in the other books. I wished this one could have been longer but will have to wait for the next book. I hope it’s soon.
