Abandoned By Love (Shattered Hearts Duet) by Aleya Michelle is the first book in this duet and is a very emotional story that will break your heart and form a lump in your throat. It is a story that is told in the past and in the present of our two main characters and how they came to be. It also shows just how precious life can be and that everything can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye.

Jaxon & Emily are childhood sweethearts and soul mates who thought they would be together forever, but when one reckless accident happens, it changes their lives forever. Their story leave more than broken bones it shatters their hearts, one doing it for the right reasons, the other left out and not knowing why.

Now I am waiting for the second book so I know how it ends.
