Hate to Love You is the first book in the Baker’s Bunch Series by Lily Ryan. It is a contemporary/ new adult romance story with a brother’s best friend- forbidden romance theme.
Cole Andrews and Samantha Stone share a history, growing up together- she is his best friend’s little sister, and completely off-limits. But a passionate night together changes everything, and a secret relationship begins. What happens if their secret is revealed? Do these two really have a chance at a future together? What about his friendship with her brother?
This was a well written and engaging story, if not a little predictable. This angsty story really had me rooting for Cole and Samantha, and I really wanted them to find their HEA, together!
I have enjoyed Ms. Ryan’s easy to read writing style and look forward to her next book.
