Next Door Knight (Man’s Best Friend Book 2) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Angela Hayes

Next Door Knight (Man's Best Friend #2)Next Door Knight by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Next Door Knight is the second book in the Man’s Best Friend Series by Nicole Flockton. This is my first read by Ms. Flockton, so I was looking forward to seeing how well she could tell a story. I was definitely entertained by what I found. There is a lot to like…
Is it a wonderful story about second chances, forgiveness, new beginnings, patience, friendship, and love…… CHECK.
Is it well written and engaging……CHECK.
Are there well developed and endearing characters who get you invested in them and the outcome of their story…… CHECK.
Is there an adorable, scene stealing pooch you wish you could adopt…. CHECK.
Will this feelgood story leave you with a smile on your face….CHECK.

I won’t want to go into the story, as the blurb really does a great job of what you can expect going in. I felt that although the cover is cute, it doesn’t really “stand-out” and doesn’t immediately make you want to take a second look. If this book hadn’t been recommended to me I probably would have passed it by without a second look, and that would have been a shame, as the story really is worth reading!
I now want to go back and read book one and will definitely be keeping an eye out for the release of book #3.

Thank you, Ms. Flockton!
