RAFFERTY is book two in the Default Distraction series yet can be read as a stand-alone. Like the other books written by this author, this is a story that has multiple layers, secondary characters that play an important role, slow burn and angst and emotions galore. Oh, and romance.

I have always enjoyed reading this author. There is a way the story is told that just flows naturally and my emotions tend to go with the flow. Rafferty and Lauren had a lot going for them and I found that at times I kind of had that pit in my stomach, like it was going to go all wrong. That’s good story telling.

I absolutely recommend this book, this series and this author. Oh and the cover wasn’t hard to look at either.
