The story The Embers We Seek: Prequel | War of Giants (A Rebel Princess Serial Book 1) by Acacia K. Parker is a book that I enjoyed reading. It hooks you in from the start and I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. There are times when I was turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the character of Wren. She is a leader who knows that the coming battle has risks. She is strong and has a fierce determination. What will happen in the coming battle? Read this book to find out. The author does a wonderful job of building a world that includes magic. I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is a story that takes you on a journey with interesting and intriguing characters. There are tense moments. This is an exciting and entertaining read. Highly recommended.
