A Protector’s Touch by Parker Sinclair. This is an awesome Young adult love story but it does have some sensitive topics as far as abuse. This is the story of April who has been in a really bad relationship for a long time. She finally finds a way out and she’s trying to recover and move on with her life. She’s trying to focus on College and her friends. She’s got a great circle of friends and she’s doing therapy. When she sees Shan, her crush of a long time and he seems interested in her she doesn’t know if she’s ready for another relationship. Shan supports her as much as he can but he has secrets from his past as well. Will April give Shan a chance since she’s been hurt so bad or will Shan’s past come back to haunt them.
