My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Enemy by Stephanie Queen was an action packed, fast pace thriller that had me hooked form start to finish.

The latest instalment in the Beachcomber Investigations series, it was a blast right out of the gate. This book hit the ground running and it kept my attention right until the last page was flipped. I like these types of opening, that get your blood flowing, and the plot going right away. It makes for an exciting read, and on that keeps you, as I said, flipping the pages.

Dane and Shana are in danger, and that danger comes from Shana’s past. I loved the flip script, as at first it presented like it would be about Dane. The only thing I didn’t like was how over protective Dane was, I mean, I get it, your loved one is in danger, but man, that was a bit too much, and it almost risked their relationship. I mean Shana is a kickass woman, skilled and strong. There was a disconnect there, and it did take away from the story.

Overall this book was a wicket read, with a solid complex plot, mystery, action and movie worthy choreography, I’m looking forward to more books from this series. So to end, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading
