The Embers We Seek: Prequel | War of Giants (A Rebel Princess Serial Book 1) By Acacia K. Parker. While this is a short read it definitely packed a punch in the amazing writing department. From page one I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. This is my first read by this author and I’m excited for more. I felt this story was one of a kind which I loved because it’s a bit of a whole new adventure. The characters are complex and I felt a connection even in a short period of time. I can’t wait to read more from this author and see where readers are taken next! Five stars for a book that took me by surprise!
