Dragon Bond: A Monster Brides RomanceDragon Bond: A Monster Brides Romance by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a short but exciting read. I think it takes a special talent to write something that pulls you in so completely even with it being a shot read. The characters are easy to bond with and well written. Right from the start you know you’re in for an exciting read. It’s got a fast pace but it’s not overwhelming or over crowded with information which I appreciate since it is a shorter read. I’m really looking forward to to the next one. Four stars and highly recommend.

I’m a steamy/ dark reader but sometimes I need something light and a bit sweet. This book hit all the marks I needed at the moment. This is a new author to me and I can’t wait to read more. This is book three for the series but I’ve only read this one and I found it easy to read without the others without any real confusion but I am very excited to read the others. This author writes some very connectable characters and a story with heart. I found it to be a nice quick read for myself with everything that made it a great story. Four big stars and so ready to read more. Highly recommend.

I seriously wish I could read this one for the first time all over again. Now Jesse and Lucy are definitely two main characters that have chemistry coming over the pages. I love their back and forth with each other. But I think it should also be mentioned that the friendship between Lucy and Sera is one I won’t forget. I love the relationship between them. Seriously all the characters in this story were great I really connected with them and that’s not easy sometimes. The storyline was smoothly written with a nice pace and characters you can’t help but love. Id recommend one clicking this book fast. Looking forward to reading more from this author. Five stars and highly recommended!

I love a story that makes me forget time and responsibilities and this short read did just that. Some people see the word novella and think it’s going to be lacking in some way but this story has everything I could ask for plenty of romance, bit of spice and lots of moments of laughter. Drew and Katie have great chemistry and completely draw you into their world. This author really knows how to hook readers from the get go and I can’t wait to read more. Their story is relatable and you can’t help but root for them along the way. Five star read and highly recommended.

This was a cute a quick little kids book. It’s a good lesson for kids about every one being good at different things. Learning new ways to work as a team. The illustrations are so cute and well done. I read this to our two year old and while it’s probably a bit advanced reading wise he really liked the pictures and pointing out items he’s starting to recognize. We really liked this for our bedtime story and highly recommend it. Five stars.

This author is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Highly recommend reading this series in order. Derek, Jordan and Justine are going to pull you into their world so fully you will lose track of the outside world. Each of them had a piece of my heart by the end. This author knows how to keep readers engaged and turning the pages as quickly as possible. The characters are well developed and easy to connect with and I’m going to miss them. The storyline is well written and definitely steamy. I’m excited to see where the author takes us next with this amazing series. Four big stars and highly recommended!

From the description I knew I wanted to read Declan and Anne’s story. The author did a great job of pulling me into their world within just the first few pages. Declan is definitely a book boyfriend you won’t forget. And I instantly loved Anne’s character. Each of them definitely didn’t see the other coming and they go through the wringer but I love their story. The author does well with all the characters, I love when side characters pull me in just as much as the main ones. It’s got a nice pace and is well written. Five stars and highly recommended. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I had my 10 year old niece read this one at our sleep over and she really thought it was cute. It may be geared towards a little younger crowd but that didn’t matter to my niece. Now she’s asking for a pet Dragon but we’ll overcome that some how haha. This was a cute story that has an underlining lesson about love and acceptance but also teaching. The pictures are cute and engaging. The storyline easy to read and follow. I love finding children’s books with great life lessons mixed in. Five stars and highly recommended.

This was a great story for bedtime. My little one is almost two and he loved the pictures. I know he’s not reading yet but he liked listening to the story before bed. I enjoyed the rhyming and the overall silliness. And come on of course peanut butter sandwiches are great! It’s nice and short so kids don’t lose interest. My kiddo kept wanting me to read it again and wanted to see the pictures over and over. I think this would be perfect for a child learning to read. Very cute and well worth a five star review.

I love a book that when I start it my first thought is “oh this is gonna be good!”. I sometimes have a hard time getting fully invested into a fantasy type storyline. But let me tell you just how quickly I fell into this book’s storyline world! I’m a reader through and through I read tons of books and this one is in my top five hands down for this year. Callum and Aeris will probably be one of my favorite sets of main characters forever. Each one brought such fun vibes to the already great storyline. Aeris immediately captured my attention right from the first chapter. I simply loved my time with these characters and this book world. It’s well paced and I truly can’t wait for more! Five of the biggest stars and I recommend you go get this story as soon as possible!

Listen I need to look into finding pet sitting jobs where I can travel! This book immediately had my heart. I have been married almost 20 years and imagine I’d be just as lost as Laura seems when navigating life after your partner is gone. This is a wonderful story about life after loss. But also about loving yourself and truly living afterwards. Laura drew me in so quickly and she was so easy to connect with I loved her adventures and watching her grow throughout the story. We so easy make everyone else a priority we sometimes lose us along the way and this book is a perfect outline on to find yourself again. This storyline is definitely in my heart and I loved the characters. Need a feel good storyline with amazing characters? Look no further because this one’s gonna steal your heart. This was a great slow burn romance. The characters show great growth throughout this story. It’s in both views of the main characters which is always a favorite of mine. I just always feel it’s a more detailed storyline that way. It’s a great story about life after divorce and the loss of a spouse. It’s well written and paced nicely. The author did well with the build up in the relationship. There’s a sprinkling of steamy romance but the author truly made it about the relationship that was building. Five big stars and highly recommended.

Ashton and Zachary truly will always be a small bit of my heart. Their characters are some of my favorites this year. Once again this author does a great job of blending steamy scenes with a full storyline. There’s bits of suspense which I liked but I’ll be honest they felt thrown in at the last minute. I don’t know they just felt a little out of place in the progression of the storyline but truly the story is still really good and I’m sad it’s over. I am however really am looking forward to book three. Four stars and highly recommended.

While this one may be for slightly older than my almost two year old we still loved it. He was very interested in the picture ms throughout this story always stopping me so he could have a good look at everything. As a momma I really liked to lesson to be learned within the story. I think these books are great for kiddos. Nice and easy to read with wonderful illustrations to engage kids. Short and sweet with wonderful characters. My young one may not quite understand the lesson behind the story just yet, but he was mesmerized with the are working and we’ll definitely be keeping this one to read more times as he get old enough to understand the lesson later on. Five stars and highly recommended.

This one picks up right where book one ends and just like the first one it was great. This time I had no problem sinking right into Cole and Riley’s world. I’m sad to leave these characters because they really captured a piece of my heart. Cole had me cursing his name a lot but you can’t help but understand that underneath it all he’s just hurt by his past. Riley will always have my heart she’s got sass and I just overall loved her character. There’s romance, suspense and everything I love in a story. I’m looking forward to more from this author. Zachary & Ashton pulled me into their world effortlessly and I loved my time with them. I love Ashton’s character she may be a submissive in parts of her life but don’t mistake her for a doormat or some shy person. She’s so sassy and I love everything about her. Zach will give you all the heart racing vibes. There’s plenty of heat but this author doesn’t over do it, there’s plenty of great written story with steamy parts sprinkled in. I will say while obviously we’re all about the main characters, you’ll also really enjoy the supporting characters also. I really enjoyed my time with this book and definitely can’t wait for more. This book took me a few chapters to really sink into. I loved the characters right away but the storyline seemed forced and I’m not sure if I’m explaining that clearly but it made it hard for me to really fall into the story. But please if you find yourself in the same place give it time please because trust me this author will soon have you completely captured. I absolutely loved the relationship between Petra, Callum and Weston they might actually be some of my very favorite characters this year. There’s plenty of spice in this book but it’s not overly done in my opinion it’s a sprinkle of spice which was nicely done. There’s bits of suspense thrown into the mix. It may have taken me a couple chapters to really dig in but once I did I was really excited for each new page. Five stars and highly recommended.

I wasn’t exactly sure how I would feel going into this story. I know the blurb was intriguing enough to give it a go though. I’ll be honest it took me a couple chapters to really sink into it but once I found my groove it went by way too fast at no fault of the author or speed of the book. Just my need to read as fast as possible and know what happens next. Cole is my new favorite jerk I love to hate but can’t help but feel for also and I think it takes true talent to get readers to feel this way. Riley is probably in my top three favorite female characters for this year, instantly felt an easy connection to her character. This isn’t a super long book, honestly it’s the perfect length, nice steady speed and easy to follow. Great story and I’m excited for the next. Four stars and highly recommended.

I love a good romantic suspense story that can pull me in from page one. This story had it all action, drama, romance and characters you can connect with easily. This author is new but I’m already excited for more. The characters pull you so completely into their world making it almost impossible to put the book down until the last page. It’s got a fast pace with a lot going on but the author does a great job of keeping it in a very clear story that makes you sink into it. I know the year has just started but this book is already in my top reads for it. Five stars and can’t wait to see where this author takes us next.

I definitely was left feeling like this author kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a book that keeps me guessing and doesn’t spell it out too easily and early. It’s a short read but it’s a well written story. The characters easily draw you in. All in all a good read and I do recommend it. Four big stars.

This book pulled at my heart from the start. Hope and Adam will definitely steal your heart. There’s just about everything you could want in this story. Yes it’s a story with loss but the outcome is beautiful. The author writes a beautiful story with hard subjects and it’s done wonderfully. There’s times I had tears running down my face but there was also times of laughter. The author balances it well. It’s got a nice pace never felt rushed or drawn out unnecessarily. I’d definitely recommend this story to anyone and give it five stars.

My little one loves a story before bedtime so we picked this one since he’s really started to notice our dogs lately. He’s one and this was probably just about perfect for him. He really liked the pictures and I did to they were bright and engaging. The story itself was cute and easy to follow as little Kingston sees different animals through the story. I personally think it was a good story for a younger child. Four stars and highly recommend. I’ll definitely look for more from this author for bedtime stories.

Liar, Liar (The McIntire County Series: #4)Liar, Liar by Winter Austin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This author grabs you right from the beginning every time. I’ve read the first three in this series and this one was just as awesome. I read these in order and I do recommend it that way simple because I think in enhanced the overall experience. I will say you definitely could read them as stand alone with no confusion though which I can appreciate. This book kept me guessing and on my toes just as well as the first three and to me that’s the accomplishment of an author. I love when I can’t see the entire storyline played out way before I get the the end. This author writes characters that are so easy to connect with and they simply draw you into their world and it’s hard to say goodbye at the end. Shane may be my favorite character from this series, there was just something “more” about his character that called to me. But each character in this book brings everything this story needs. Another five star read from this author who is definitely a one click for me now.
