Courage of Us (Code of Honor Book 1) by Brooke May is a wonderfully written story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. It’s a story about second chances and finding yourself along the way.The characters are very well developed and easily relatable. At times my emotions were all over the place. Patience and Duke had been best friends since diapers , but after graduation Duke joins the Marines and leaves. Patience moves on with her life and finds herself in a terrible marriage that she can’t get out of. Both of these two have been through so much in their time apart. Duke gets medically discharged and comes back home , these two reconnect . Can these two get their second chance at love? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
