This series just keeps getting better and better. I would suggest reading books 1 and 2 before this obe, they’re that good and we see plenty of reoccurring characters. Its hard to pick my favorite but this was pretty darn great! They characters are fantastic and I was on the edge of the seat and I couldn’t get enough. It has an sense of darkness about it, and that make me even more interested. I can’t wait to get my hands on more by this author, and I would recommend this to a friend. Happy Reading!

Set it Free (Fallen Eagles Book 3) by T. Birmingham Stars-4
This is the third story of this series. This story focuses on the eldest Markham sister, Spring, and Callum or also known as Casper. As the author wrote, there are some depictions of addiction. However, I felt that this story was well done. I liked that the author put in the description about Spring had to either choose old dreams or a man that could be there to make new dreams. Spring made growth in this story that I loved reading about. She has a lot of trauma and pain that she needs to work out. I feel that Callum does the best he can to support her. I also loved getting updates on the other Markham sisters!

Dagda’s Daughter (Raven and Hummingbird Book 2) by Nikki Broadwell – Review by Gail Guerrero
Four stars
Dagda’s Daughter is set in a time when people truly had faith. The mythology mixed with the Celtic really made the story pop. You have a God living amongst humans breaking all the rules. When girls turn a certain age dads lose their sparkle. Words go in one ear and out the other. What makes it even more difficult is that Katel is coming into her powers and there is no telling how mighty they will be. I enjoyed the story and all the adventure. What really held my attention was the growth throughout the story. There was so much to learn as the characters came into their own. The fight to stop the Light Snatchers from taking the color from all worlds was icing on the cake. The author pieced this fast paced story together with what seems like effortless wonder. The details and creativity put into the pages if this story is great.

Lillie is the final chapter in the Maggie series by Mya O’Malley. This series has been an amazing journey. Mya O’Malley’s characters are fully developed, complex, interesting, and easy to relate to. The story is captivating and kept my interest from the first page to the last word. I have been with Naomi in all three books. Naomi is an interesting character. She can see ghosts who have helped her solve three murders. In this book we see Naomi married her soulmate Bryce, and has a couple of months before spirits seek her help. I have enjoyed my time with Naomi. There has been emotional ups and downs, but one thing was true throughout Naomi remained strong through all her trials. When Lillie appears with Naomi be able to assist her or will her family turn away from her? Will Bryce stand with Naomi? Is the end of Naomi’s story? Personally I hope not but I can’t wait to see what Mya O’Malley has in store for me next.

Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2) By Amanda Marin 5 out of 5 stars
The story Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2) by Amanda Marin is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It is the second book in a series, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. It pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself lost in the story. I loved reading about Neve Hall and Micah Ward. Neve is a young woman who is intelligent, strong, and in love with Micah. Micah is a young man who has survived a lot. He is haunted by the past. When he and Neve find themselves in the New Republic, they believe that they will be safe in a land that will be wonderful to live in. What they find is different than they imagine. They find themselves having to prove that they are worthy of citizenship. Not only that they find themselves in the middle of things when tensions rise between the Republic and the Nation. What will happen to them when they are kidnapped by a group of radicals? What does the future hold for Neve and Micah? Read this book to find out. I loved Neve and Micah in the first book and loved reading about them again in the second one. I can’t help but root for them to find happiness. This book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The author does a wonderful job in world-building and I felt like I was right there with Micah and Neve. There are other characters that I enjoyed reading about. Some of them are helpful to Micah and Neve, others seem to have their own agenda. This is a series that I would read in order so that you fully understand the storyline. This is a book and series I would recommend reading.

Recall By Meghan O’Flynn is the 6th book in the Ash Park series. This is the only book in the series I have read (so far). Even though I haven’t read anything else in the series I was still hooked the moment I started reading. This thriller is dark and intense. O’Flynn keeps you intrigued and on the edge of your seat until the very end.
Detective Petrosky is on the hunt for a serial killer who kills men who so awful things. The latest victim doesn’t match up with the rest, he is the son of a councilman who other than having a strange interest in old crime scenes doesn’t seem to have any dark secrets. Petrosky must find out who this serial killer is before someone else gets killed.
O’Flynn weaves a suspenseful story that has so many layers and details linking everything together. As stated above this is the only book in this series I have read but it won’t be the last. I can’t wait to start the other books in this series.

Covert Threat (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 5) By: Amy McKinley 5 out of 5 stars
The story Covert Threat (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 5) by Amy McKinley is a romantic suspense book. It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. The story has mystery, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Jules Moretti and Trev Shaw. Jules is a woman who is intelligent, strong, independent, and can be stubborn. She works at an elite research facility and has recently had strange occurrences happen to her. That is when Trev is called in to assist. Trev is working as Jules’s bodyguard. He finds that he can’t stop thinking about her and that his heart is starting to fall for her. There is an unknown threat to Jules, and he needs to keep his mind clear to keep her safe. Will he be able to uncover the threat to Jules? Is there a future for Jules and Trev? Read this book to find out. This story had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. As each new situation happens, I found myself wondering what could be happening. I grew to care about Trev and Jules with each chapter that I read, and I was rooting that the threat would be uncovered and also that they would find happiness. I enjoyed that some of the secondary characters have been brought forward from the other books in the series. Don’t miss out on a book that has twists and turns that will keep you guessing. I highly recommend reading it.

Set it free Fallen Eagles MC Book 3 By T. Birmingham This is a full length novel. Here you will find romance and suspense.
This is Spring and Casper’s story. Not just of love, but the struggle of addiction. Spring has always been there for her family. She is the oldest daughter, and plays the part well. Until she struggles with her past. Callum “Casper” is looking out for Spring. Never wanting to be with anybody. He sure has put himself right in the middle of Spring and her past. Will these two people get thru this or will addiction keep them apart? Will Callum get the girl, will Spring get through this and find the love she seeks?
T. Birmingham has written this story and continues to impress me. Yes! She made me cry, she also made me worry. That is what you will find in this book. I found this story kept me intrigued and kept me reading until the last word. I fell in love with Spring and Callum, as well as the other characters in this series. Be sure to read the first 2 books in this series! As this is a continuation to the Fallen Eagles MC. Nicely written T. Birmingham! Will there be more?

Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) By MJ Masucci 5 out of 5 stars
The story Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) by MJ Masucci is a New Adult romance book. It is a story that pulled me in from the start and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. I enjoyed reading about the character of Lexi Stanford. She is an intelligent, independent, beautiful woman who is engaged to her fiancé, Noah. Her life becomes more complicated when she finds out her new boss is her ex, JC. What will happen when secrets are revealed? How will Lexi deal with JC when she figures out he is still in love with her? There are betrayals and tensions are on the rise. What does the future hold for Lexi? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has heartbreaking moments. There are times when I was angry with what Lexi is going through and other times when I was misty-eyed. I grew to care about what happened to Lexi with each chapter that I read. I wanted her to find happiness. There are secondary characters that I enjoyed reading about as they support and help Lexi. There are steamy scenes in this story that will make the temperature in the room rise. It is a book that I would recommend reading.

I have read this series in order but you can read this as a standalone, but I think its best to read all 3. This book was sweet, and shows no matter what love can prevail. Im not the biggest fan of back and forth from past to present but did appreciate getting to know Mary Ann. This is the perfect ending to this trilogy, and I will look for more from this author .

Set it Free is the 3rd book in the Fallen Eagles MC series, by T. Birmingham. This book tells the story of Spring Markham and Callum “Casper” Gordon. While it could be read as a stand alone, I would not recommend it. A lot of the backstory comes from the first two books, and it will make you appreciate the characters a lot more. Otherwise, you might just think Spring is a washed up drunk. Where in fact, she is a strong woman who has not deal with her pain over the years, and has just covered it up with alcohol. I really enjoyed this book. Everything about it, including the addictions. Spring and Casper agreed their relationship was not going to be serious, but before too long, they both felt differently, but was afraid to admit it. Spring was spiraling down quickly, and he stayed by her side for a long time, before he finally had to let go. Set her free, so she can make the decision to straighten up on her own. Tough love if you will. Spring hit rock bottom, and when she came out the other side, she truly found out who her friends and family were. While I found the ending a little too predictable, especially with the mention to it a couple chapters prior, I still love it. I hope the series continues because they are so much fun to read.

Second Chances is the conclusion of Jane Suen’s Flowers in December and even though some sources say you could read it as a standalone, please do us all a favour and start from the beginning! Trilogy is a trilogy and you would be missing out on all of the backstory! We are back with Connor and Mary Ann and Connor’s mother’s cat Tom. Connor is back to stay and he has finally acknowledged that it was a grave mistake to leave Mary Ann and he is going to go out on a limb to make her part of his and Tom’s life, again … from scrambled eggs to finger licking grilled cheese … If you love second chances stories then this series is the one to go to and you will be keeping your fingers crossed for Connor and Mary Ann until the cramp!

What an amazingly incredible way to end this paranormal Trilogy. This is another incredible well written, well developed mentally visual read that should not be missed! Each of these books keeps getting better and better and each feels more and more real each time. I was totally captivated and entranced wit it and couldn’t put it down. I was hooked with twists and turns that left me on the edge of my seat wondering what could happen next. Mya O’Malley has a way with creating unforgettable characters and thats the case in this read again, they all tell their own story but are relatable & lovable and you can’t help but love following their journey to find out more! I absolutely loved this series and can’t wait to see what else Mya O’Malley brings us.

This is my second read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was pulled in from the start and loved reading Shannon & Zane’s journey. This read has a great romance with two characters that have an amazing connection. You couldn’t help but wish that with the things that our two characters face that they get a HEA. I liked that we got introduced to some new characters but also some from the previous read. This book does get to your emotions but it makes it just that much better. I can’t wait to see where else this series is taken and who story we follow next!

I love McKinley’s writing style and the attention given to all of her characters. The main characters are relatable and very thorough. They get like people I truly knew when I walked away from the book. I was kept guessing and literally found myself holding my breath a few times in anticipation of what might unfold next. Game of Fear by Glede Brown Kabongo is an exciting psychological thriller. Although the storyline isn’t exactly original – it is quite a common go to for this book type – the author has done a great job of creating an exciting story with it. The book was a little shorter than I expected – either that or I just read it quicker than I realised. However I found myself engaged with the main character Abbie and enjoyed reading about her journey. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. It was a well written and well developed book with interesting characters. I can’t wait to read more of her work.

Dagda’s Daughter is the second book in the Raven and Hummingbird Series by Nikki Broadwell. This story is a clever fantasy- woven with plenty of action, adventure, secrets, discovery, Gods/Goddesses, magic, emotion, different realms, Celtic mythology, intrigue, and father/daughter/family dynamics. It could be read as a standalone, but as the first book “Siobhan’s Secret” has a lot of backstory and other relevant and interesting details, I would really recommend reading that book first before beginning this one. Dagda is a God who fell in love with a mortal. A human called Siobhan. They have a daughter, Katel- who is now an adult, half-goddess and has no idea of what she is capable of. There is much more to this situation, but I really don’t want to ruin it for you by giving too much away. But as usual, Ms. Broadwell kept me engaged the whole way through. I can’t wait to dive into “Kat’s Conundrum” (Book 3), it’s set to be quite intriguing.

Sky to Sea is the second book in the Crimson Sash Series by Amanda Marin. It is YA fantasy, with dystopian elements, romance, sci-fi, action, adventure, and drama. We met Neve Hall and Micah Ward in book one. We re-join them as their story continues. After the events in book one, Micah and Neve really had all their hopes of a happy new beginning pinned on the New Republic. But you know what they say about best laid plans. Tensions between the Republic and Nation rise, which results in Micah and Neve finding themselves right in the middle of it all. Tensions mount, while being torn between the two nations. And expected, Ms. Marin puts them to the test. What ensues is well worth the read. This was a great continuation to the storyline, and I found it to be just as intriguing as the first book. Another beautiful cover which attracted me even before I realised what the book was. Looking forward to reading book #3.

Dagda’s Daughter (Raven and Hummingbird Book 2) by Nikki Broadwell 5 Stars I really enjoyed this fantasy novel by Nikki Broadwell, it was full of Celtic mythology and mystical beings, surrounding the tales of the Celtic all father god, Dagda. Dagda although a god has decided to live on Earth as away of giving himself maximum power and as a way of controlling his daughter Katel. Katel is herself on the brink of developing her immense power as a half-goddess. Due to Dagda’s actions on Earth, he has broken all the rules regarding humans and gods, the light snatchers have appeared and will leach the colour from all worlds if not stopped. I could not turn the pages quick enough when reading this story it was fast paced and had great characters, I found Katel particularly likeable and found myself caring about her fate. The storyline really swept me along, and I was immersed in Broadwell’s magical world of gods, goddesses and magic. I found the use of Celtic and Norse mythology fascinating and used alongside the fantasy worlds created, like the Otherworld and with our human world mixed in it made this a captivating story. I have not read the first book in this series but this novel works well on its own, however I so enjoyed this book and the magical settings that Broadwell conjured up that I will now read book one and am looking forward to reading the third one in the ‘Raven and Hummingbird’ series. A five star read, and one I will definitely recommend.

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a fun paranormal romance, with shifters, humour, magic, mystery, drama, and more. It can be read as a standalone, which is what I have done. But it has intrigued me enough to want to go back and read Catori (Book 1), as well as any future additions. Piper Sweet owns Sweetie Pie’s Bakery and Café. She’s been plagued by unsettling dreams lately, and strange things are happening. She doesn’t realise it yet, but her world is about to turn upside down- and nothing will ever be the same. Noah Stark just knows something is going on. He is on the hunt- and his investigation leads him to way more than he ever expected. He is such a funny guy- so sweet you just want to cuddle him. I was fully invested as he sets about unravelling the mystery. The story introduces us not only to Noah and Piper, but also a cast of interesting and quirky supporting characters. A quick and easy read!

This book was amazing!!!! I love this author and everything of hers that I have read so far – I was really excited to get my hands on this, the third book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. I will say that unlike the others in the series this book took a little longer to get into, the author definitely made me work for it but I LOVED that about it and it was definitely a little more emotional than I was anticipating – I shed a few tears along the way! I was so deeply connected with the characters, especially Spring, that I was living the story along with them. I laughed with them and I 100% cried with them! I desperately wanted Spring to see how much Callum/Casper wanted to be there for her! This series, I think, has to be one of my favourite MC series and I would definitely recommend it to readers who love this genre! You won’t be disappointed if you one click this book and series today!

Set it Free (Fallen Eagles Book 3) by T. Birmingham is the third book in an MC romantic suspense book. I had not read the first 2 books and wish I had as I feel like I would understand things that felt like I was missing information. These must be read in order if you don’t want to miss things but it can be read as a standalone. This book is about Spring and Casper aka Cal. Spring has had a traumatic experience in her past and is still struggling to deal with it. She has built sky high walls and is keeping everyone away. Cal doesn’t want to see her go through this, but will she let him? This was an amazing read that I couldn’t put down. The emotions in the books are strong whether it’s the characters emotions you are reading or how you personally take them. I highly recommend this book just be warned there is addiction in this book if that is a trigger for you.

Dagda’s Daughter: Raven and Hummingbird Book 2 by Nikki Broadwell
This story was full of magic, romance, betrayal, and love. I was taken on a great adventure while reading this story. I didn’t want to put this book down, there were twists and turns I just couldn’t get enough of. There wonderful characters in this book I wanted Katel to figure out who she was and the power she possesses. Her father’s actions are causing trouble on earth and otherworld, but he can’t see past the love he has for Siobhan. The author does an amazing job pulling you into this story. Dagda’s Daughter (Raven and Hummingbird Book 2) by Nikki Broadwell. This book has a little of everything from magic, spells, mythology, gods, war and danger. Its the story of the Celtic Father God Dagda who has moved himself on Earth to be the major power. In doing so he has broken all the rules regarding humans and Gods all the while trying to keep his daughter Katel under his power as well. She is becoming stronger and stronger and he doesn’t know if he can continue to control her. His illegal actions have caused bad people to surface and they are going to try to destroy the world. This is a great book about Father/daughter relationships in the Spiritual World and its also very entertaining. Dagda is very selfish and it shows in how he wants to control everything. Thanks to people around her Katel is kept safe. Read Dagda’s Daughter to find out what happens!

A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by KG Fletcher. This is the 3rd book in this series and its sooo good! Its the story of Fiona Merrill a New York Socialite who has everything she can imagine except for love. When she realizes money can buy that too she pays Chris Ballard who is trying to save his money to renovate his falling down farmhouse to be her “companion”. Normally Chris would never do anything like this but he’s desperate for the money so he accepts. Chris is normally not the socialite type he had much rather be at home working on his house that at fancy parties but this money will help him so much. Once they start spending time together Chris and Fiona begin to care about each other and Chris wants to try to make it work. Will Fiona open her heart to Chris or will she be too scared to try. This is a sweet contemporary romance that is so good! Once you start you won’t want to put it down.

This is the second book in this series, I highly suggest reading this series in order to help enrich your enjoyment. I enjoyed this book as much as the first one. In this installment we get to see Neve and Micah again but one is kidnapped and the center of conflict. San Murs has set terms but the Nation only wants one thing. The twists and turns had me turning pages fast as well as sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens to Neve and Micah next.

I have enjoyed this series from the first book I picked up and this one is no different. This is a well written story that has some suspense and romance. The characters have great chemistry and connectable. They kept me turning pages until the end. In this book you have Trev who is a former Navey Seal and you have a workalcholic Jules. Find out what happens when someone threatens Jules and Trev is sent to protect her. Will he be able to figure it out before its to late? I highly recommend this book.

If you like god and goddess stories mixed with adventure, this one is for you! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I haven’t read the first one so it was a slow build at first but it’s pretty easy to figure out without reading the first. The characters were wonderful, the plot was good and the story is enthralling. I can’t wait to read the next in the series!

I give Dagda’s Daughter: Raven and Hummingbird Book 2 by Nikki Broadwell, 4 stars.
I really enjoy paranormal books about gods and goddesses and I was looking forward to what this book had to offer. It was so, so good. Katel is a wonderful main character. She has forgotten who and what she is, yet she still persists. There are other characters in here who are just as good. There is so much depth to all of the characters. I was thrown right into these worlds and was right there beside each character, rooting either for or against them. Some seem bad, but are really just misunderstood. While there is definitely a story and different worlds, this book is really all about the characters in the book and the author does a great job of focusing on them and pulling into their worlds.
If you are a fan or fiction about gods and goddesses, this book is definitely for you.
