Mountains Climbed is book 2 in the series and let me just inform you, this is one series you do not want to miss out on. The books are meant to be read In order since the story continues and you do not want to miss a beat. Sarah and James met and had a friends with benefits relationship. It was more for both of them but somehow they both seemed to move on. The only problem with that is, James knows Sarah’s children, mom and best friend. So when you go through a breakup sometimes it’s hard to get over it when everyone knows what happened and can bring up the name of the person.
In this book James is deployed and with someone else. Sarah has met someone who seems to be more her style. What is with Sarah and the younger men, who knows. While James and Sarah both seem content in their new relationships, they still cannot stop thinking about each other. What will happen when James returns in 9 months. Will he see Sarah, Will he want to rekindle things with Sarah? Will Sarah want to open that door again or will she move on and try not to get her heart broken two times by the same person?
I really enjoyed these two books in the series so far. I loved the characters and loved seeing Sarah’s kids, Abby especially grow up. I cannot wait to read more of this series. Sooo soooo good!! Trust me!!

Brutal and Raw: Mafia Romance and Thriller Psychological Thriller by Sonya Jesus is the first book in the Beneventi Family series. This is an intense and thrilling book.
It felt like for most of this book my heart was absolutely racing. The emotions were so raw and stripped back to the bare bones of what they are about. The characters were so dark and twisted, and yet strong and intriguing. I was drawn into them so easily and they captured my attention for the entirety of the book.
This isn’t my first book by this author but it has to be my favourite one so far. It was a thrilling story and one I didn’t want to end. I cannot wait to read more from this series.

I really enjoy reading books by this author, I have read quite a few now and I always enjoy being transported to wherever she has set her books through her wonderfully detailed and imaginative writing.
Forget Nico is a wonderful read and I enjoyed delving into Leda’s life. I loved the time period that the story was set in also! I loved following Nico and Leda’s romance story and all the trials and tribulations that are destined to come with a teen romance! The author has written about the characters in such a way that she makes you look back on how you dealt with growing up and being a teenager! I love that I felt really involved with Leda’s life and everything that being a teenager comes with!
I am definitely looking forward to more from these wonderful characters!

Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander is the second book in the Mountains series. You have to read these in order because the story continues from book to book. With an ending like the first book I was ready to dive into this read. The story picks up with Sarah trying to move on while James is deployed. Will the two of them find each other and the timing be right? You have to read this story to find out. I always enjoy a happily ever after but I also enjoy a story with realism. Relationships are not always easy and don’t always work the way we hope. This series has two realistic imperfect, perfect people. I really am looking forward to the third book in this series.

A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON is the third book in Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a sweet, heart-warming, and very enjoyable contemporary romance- with a little drama, a wounded warrior aspect, music, and more. I think I have read most of Ms. Ferguson’s books now, and with each new release I am always excited to see what she has in store for us. This book was everything I have come to expect from Ms. Ferguson- a really well written and charming story- showcasing wonderful characters who not only have depth, but are also realistic, relatable, and entirely believable. Ms. Ferguson’s warm, easy and inviting style pulls you into her story, then coaxing you further and further into the book- not wanting to leave, and easily reading the story in one sitting.
We follow Marielle McKinnon and Drew Kendall, who were such endearing characters. They have a love of music in common as Marielle is a talented vocalist, while Drew is a skilled composer. Plans for the future unexpectedly change when family drama sees Drew leaving college and joining the military. While in Iraq, Drew is badly injured and doesn’t want to be a burden- so he cuts contact with Marielle. Will this be the end of their love story, or can their love survive?
This really is a lovely story that will have you invested in these wonderful characters and the outcome of their story- turning the pages to see if they are fated to be together in the end.

Mountains Climbed (Mountains Series #2) by Phoebe Alexander. This series is amazing and once you start reading these books you can’t put them down. Its the continuing story of Lt. James McAllister and Dr. Sarah Lynde. When Book 1 ended Lt. James McAllister had picked Maggie before he was deployed but now all he can think about is Sarah. He can’t wait to get back stateside to see her again. What he doesn’t know is Sarah has moved on with Garrett Stone but she is thinking about James as well. With all the heartache she has be dealt over and over again its a wonder she can still love. Once James returns home he’s anxious to see just how Sarah will react to him. Once he returns home they will have more troubles to go thru will it bring them closer together or tear them apart? Read Mountains Climbed to find out! I can’t wait for the next book!

In one sentence, this series is phenomenal.

I loved every story in this series. The characters are wonderfully written. Each story digs deep into a well of emotions that make everything real. My favorite books overall are Rewind and Return. I absolutely fell in love with the Noah character though, so his book was a fantastic way to round out the series.

This is definitely a must-read series, and the box set makes it easy to binge it. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the series was over too soon. I felt like I could have stayed immersed in the Rewind world for much, much longer.

I loved this book. This is one of my favorites by this author. It is a sweet romance story that will warm your heart and soul. This is a well written story about love, healing and understanding. This story is about Drew and Marielle. They both have a love of music but when a family altercation happens Drew enlists in the service. Now that he is coming home an injured man, he tries to hide it from her, he is no burden to anyone. What happens next you will have to read and I highly recommend doing that. Their love is strong but is it strong enough to face his reality and survive?

What a beautiful story! Sports themed romances are always a hit. Rhett and Eden both have their own issues they are going through and pasts they are dealing with. Eden is a strong woman although she thinks otherwise and will never bring herself to ask for help. Because of her past is wary to trust or get involved with anyone, until Rhett breaks down all her walls. Rhett is a wonderful man and although he has his own demons, he will not give up on making Eden his. He is very patient with her and loving, so I fell for him right away.

The secondary characters in Eden’s life such as Robin, Adelaide and Cassie, help shape Eden into the woman she is today and help her in opening up and depending more on others. The work they are doing for other kids in the system like Eden and Adelaide is so meaningful and made the story that much more beautiful. I can’t wait to read about the next couple in the series!

I loved reading the story A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance 3) by Tamara Ferguson. It is a sweet romance book that hooked me from the very beginning, and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Marielle McKinnon and Drew Kendall. Marielle is a wonderful vocalist and is finding that her future is bright as a rising star. She also has fallen hard for Drew. Drew is a composer and writes wonderful songs. Marielle is his inspiration. They have a magical summer together and are ready to take the next steps in their lives. What will the future hold for Drew and Marielle when a situation occurs that means that they will be apart? Will their love survive an injury that Drew received in Iraq? Will they get another chance to kiss beneath a strawberry moon? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about what happened to Marielle and Drew with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. This book has heartbreaking and also heartwarming moments. I enjoyed many of the other characters that interact with Drew and Marielle. They are supportive of them. This is a story that I thought about even after I had finished reading it. This is a story that you don’t want to miss out on. I would highly recommend.

This was a fun super quick and holy hot read!! I absolutely loved the dialogue between these characters and how the relationships progressed through the story. Gabby and Christian might just be up in my favorite couples list and I would actually love to read more about them.

I read it in one sitting and was actually sad that it ended.

This is my second book by this author and I have loved them both. I love the style and easy flow and highly recommend checking out anything and everything this author has out.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and i thought it was a great read. I enjoyed book from the very beginning and I thought it was well written. The main characters are Megan and Vincent and I liked them both. I was rooting for them from the very first page and the the chemistry was scorching. Megan is a saxophone player who is looking for a future playing the instrument she loves. Things change and people come into her life and everything gets turned upside down. She has to decide if following her heart is the right path for her or should she play it smart.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

Mountains Climbed is the second book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. This series should be read in order because the books build off each other. The characters are all down to earth and relatable. This book is a continuation of Sarah and James’s story. James has made his choice and Sarah is moving on with Garrett, but will they be able to stay apart?
Phoebe is one of my go to authors, and this series is no different. The story has all the feels, and will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I can’t wait to read book three.

Once again, Ms. Alexander has me by the heart strings! This is the second book in the Mountains Series and I am absolutely hooked! Sarah is one exceptional lady in my opinion! She is so open and loving and accepting. Everything I try to be but probably fall way short the majority of the time. I love how she deals with her children in an open and honest manor. Something I once again try to do but don’t always succeed at.

In this second book, James has been deployed, leaving Maggie at home, and Sarah has met someone else and is trying her best to move on and heal her broken heart. They can’t seem to forget one another though, no matter how hard they try. As in my review of Mountains Wanted, the first book in this series, I can’t tell you much about what happens in this story. You truly need to read it to experience the full range of emotions these stories take you through.

This series is emotional, touching, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters and their stories. Well, except for Maggie maybe. She’s a bit too closed minded and judgmental for me! LOL! I can’t wait to read the next book in James and Sarah’s story! This author truly knows how to take you along on a journey!

Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander is the second book in this series. It cannot be read as a standalone since it is the continuation of Sarah and James story. I enjoyed this second book more than the first. I loved how James seemed to embrace things more in this novel. I loved Garrett at first but wanted to slap him later.
I really enjoyed how this story seemed to flow together easily and was filled with a lot of steamy scenes. This book is definitely for 18+ readers. It was an excellent read and I look forward to the next book.

As soon as I started reading this story I was pulled in and I couldn’t put it down. There are so many wonderful characters in this book but I totally fell in love with Rhett and Eden. These two have been through a lot of heartache growing up but they have become strong independent people. Rhett is a professional hockey player, he is the third string goalie and hoping to learn as much as he can while he waits to be able to play. Eden is going to school and can’t wait to help children who are in a position that she was once in. The chemistry between these two when they meet is off the charts. To find out if these two hit it off or not this is a must read!! I found myself getting caught up in all the feels this story gave me and I can’t wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this book.

I haven’t read the first book in this series, but I absolutely loved Call of the Alpha by Brooke May! I felt like the prologue caught me up on a lot I needed to know. I enjoyed the fast paced energy of this novel, and it was very hard to put down. It had me enthralled from the beginning. There is romance, some comedy (or at least I laughed) and a lot about family. I loved all the characters, they were all so well written! I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next installment!

So before i get into this, I will say if you haven’t read Thirty One Kisses, read that first. Its an introduction of this family and will help answer questions that would arise in Brutal & Raw if you didnt meet them yet.
This book, wow where on earth do i start? 327 is just a number and has somehow made her way into Breakers heart in a very fast amount of time. But being a mafia boss, a new one at that, he can’t have a weakness and he definitely doesn’t believe in love or feelings.
327, has many names in this story and I will call.her that as to not confuse in this review. She escapes a game and is now terrified of being found. As we see her grow a little in the months of hiding, we also see the pull she has to the man she should hate.

I can’t go into too many details as there’s twists and turns I didn’t see coming but just because you’re in charge doesn’t mean everyone listens to you or doesn’t have their own agenda to get to where they want to be.
While a lot of things in this book were disturbing, it made connecting with the character a bit easier to me as if that was how I grew up, I would probably feel the same way they all did.
I can’t wait for more in this series,and to see where it goes with the ending we get here.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story by Brienne Dubh is my first time reading anything of hers and I have to say I went in blindly solely based off the cover and quick blurb. I do love the cover, it’s bright and simple design is absolutely eye catching. I am glad I gave this a go as it was a fun and quirky read for me. I found myself laughing out loud at several moments and was sincerely wrapped up in the beautiful disaster that is Christian and Gabriella.

These two main characters seriously can’t stand each other, no matter how much they may get each other’s engines going as far as physical attraction goes. What happens when life situations force them to be around each other and question the feelings blooming between them. I love the quick and light quips that break up the seriousness that is sometimes discovering love and lust. I will for sure be around to see what will come next from Brienne Dubh!

Call of the Alpha by Brooke May is actually the second book in her Powder River Pack series. I have not had the pleasure, yet, to read book one but it didn’t throw me off one bit and I was still able to enjoy and understand this one just as if I had.

I loved how the action and adventure are complemented by the underlying romances that we get with the characters. They are all strong and fierce characters who all mesh in the perfect ways for the drama factor. I loved how this read fast and was not confusing at all even though it has paranormal aspects to it. Rylie was easy to read and I loved Mason and how he compliments all of her good and bad traits, much like we find in the real world. I will definitely be going to read book one and anxiously awaiting book three!

Forget Nico: Falling For The Wrong Italian is the third book in Gaia B Amman’s The Italian Saga, and the first in the Italian Teens series. The series follows Leda from her childhood onwards as she grows up.
Leda and her friends are hitting puberty. Raging hormones are adding to the drama and tensions they were already having to deal with. Leda is struggling to get Nico to notice her as she fends off unwanted attention from other boys.
I found the pacing a bit weird at times, with a few big jumps forward in time. This does allow the story to follow straight on from the previous book Out of the Nest: An Italian Summer and doesn’t affect the pacing too much.
This book does just about work as a standalone, but the series as a whole is very enjoyable and it’s nice seeing Leda grow up and the other characters develop around her. I haven’t quite read them in order, but I did start with An Italian Adventure which was a good introduction to Leda and her family, as well as some of her friends.
For me, this is a four star book. It’s enjoyable, if tense at times, and good to see this part of Leda’s journey. I’d recommend the series to fans of the Adrian Mole series and other coming-of-age stories, particularly if you’re interested in women in STEM.

Around Midnight by Zarina Macha is a young adult story about love and dreams.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is one I can say I thoroughly enjoyed. The whole book was well written and had an easy pace about it. The characters were well developed. They had chemistry and it was easy to picture them together.
This is one of those stories that you can’t imagine every young adult going through in one way or another – love and the effect it has on your life.
This was a very good book and I am looking forward to reading more of this authors work.

I love finding new authors work to read so when I came across Scoring Chance I couldn’t wait to get started and I really enjoyed it! I like novellas, they are usually just long enough to get into and great for when you just want a short read – this was a fantastic novella! The storyline was great, the characters were well developed and I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved Rhett and Eden’s story – both with troubled pasts but I just knew the minute that they met there was something between them! Alongside both Rhett and Eden were some great secondary characters and I really hope we get to see more of them in the series – I shall definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for more from this author!

This is a very steamy read so be prepared! Love it!
