This is a nice story for younger readers. It plays on the whole superhero theme. Which everyone finds interesting. There are wonderful characters in here to learn about. I did love seeing all of the superhero names and their powers. How fun! There is a lot of adventure and world building for those YA fans.

I enjoyed this story. It’s the second in the series. In here we get to delve deeper into each of the characters we have met. While there is a problem on campus they have become involved in because of Celia’s new roomie.
There is much to love about these characters. The whole dryad (tree) Fae thing. How she can step into trees. Then in the library I loved the idea of how the books were crying having their knowledge ripped from them. Then the dryad struggled as well because….well books are paper and paper was trees…genius! Logan with his “seeing the truth” and the Japanese squirrel and the cat (Jib). All great! I don’t even know what to say about the doppelgänger. Just freaky!
I love the world this author has created. Anyone who reads paranormal fantasy should love this. It tickles the funny one and engages the grey matter.

This is really a wonderful read! The story has its ups and downs. But really towards the end….I couldn’t put it down. Those words he wrote are worth tearing up over. The characters we have met almost all of them previously (if you read Fat Girl). This story made me like Claire, Jack and Anita more. Each showed great growth in their character. I enjoyed how not every thought of Claire was self doubt on her looks, thoughts or actions. It was nice plus she got some backbone. Jack went from a sexy man beast to an unrecognizable Star. For Anita? She surprised me the most and I have to say I loved all the Darth Vader references to her.
Overall this is a story I read really quickly. It has a nice flow and the plight of the characters kept me reading. Jacks song’s were great but even more because he wrote them for Claire. I didn’t realize he had that in him. Very Enjoyable!

Do you love books that you just can’t seem to put down? How about the ones that you read way past your bedtime? With this book I accomplished both of those! I can’t even say what made me do it. The way it was written, the characters I couldn’t say no to or or because this storyline just called to something inside me. Well..in this case it’s all three.
I ab-so-lutly LOVE the relationship these besties have and I’m not just talking about the girls. Ashton and Becker have amazing banter between them that it’s easy to tell they have been friends years. They make me laugh when they get throwing words back and forth. Even the wonderful brother sister bond is so strong. It’s easy to see why all of these kids love and protect each other.
Ashton is a dreamboat of epic proportions! I don’t think he can say or do anything wrong. In fact I have many highlighted words from this man. Everyone wants to hear what he is saying. Just to them.
I loved this story so much! The friendships, brotherhood, the protectiveness….heck even the sassy chatter and the love all make this a five star read!

Wow talk about action and suspense?! This one has it in spades! Turning from one page to the next I never knew what would happen next to this crew. That makes for an exciting read. As I said the story is explosive. The characters have skills and do thing I could or would never dream of doing. They all have troubled pasts that come back to haunt them. Keegan’s seemed just terrible. Somehow he was able to overcome and become better. His long time love Kara shows up and catches him off guard. From there they are busy bodies working two different cases to the same end. Over all this is extremely action packed and I feel it’s a good addition to the series.

This is a good story that Involves hockey, a feral cat and a crazy ex. All of those elements make for some fun times. I enjoyed Patience she is unsure of herself but doesn’t project that. She appears confident. The connection between these two was extra warm. Those kisses could really have went somewhere if not for that cat. The drama with the psycho ex was scary at how true it could be.
I liked this but I wish there was more. More in-depth characters, more banter with the team and more run ins with her brothers/family.

I really enjoyed this book! The best was HIM. He is just so SEXY and alpha. Some of the things he says….I loved it! The second best is the stalker story. I really struggled most of the book to figure it out. There are also other lines of suspense that filter in throughout the story. I did struggle at times with the wording placement and the beginning seemed dry. The main character, Larkin, at times was strong and others I just didn’t understand her. She seemed so stiff and unlikable. Slowly she gained and became more than just her tears and being afraid. This story did really pick up its pace in the middle and towards the end.
This is my first book by this author. Overall it’s a good story. It has elements that are enjoyable as well as unknown. I will look into Why, her next in the series

This is my first book by this author. I love how deeply we get Into the characters and their lives. The story was great! It easily kept me entertained and really surprised me now and then. The little sayings on the aprons is genius! I liked it at the beginning. But it was carried throughout the story which makes it lovely. I enjoyed each of the characters. There is a lot because…Greek family :). I liked Max a lot. He seems genuine. He has completely changed his life and his devotion (his would not give up attitude) is inspiring.
Overall this is a wonderfully book. I liked the story and the characters. Some more than others. The secondary characters really added to the story. Best Friends can really help make a story come alive and that’s what happened in here.

Of Magic and Scales by Natalina Reis is a sweet, heart warming story that is a mixture of romance and magic. This is a M/M romance with two lovely characters that you will definitely get behind. Natalina Reis is one of those authors that has a way of creating a lasting story. They always draw you in and keep you reading, right the way through to the last page. The characters in this book are what made it for me. They were so likeable, relatable. Even with the fantasy element. They were such interesting and diverse characters. The story was also well written. It was developed well and kept moving along nicely. The author’s writing style is soft and engaging and creates a story you won’t want to put down. This is well wroth reading and is one I would suggest you try today!
A Moore Affair by Michele Sims is the fourth book in the Moore Family Saga. Personally I would recommend reading this series in order to fully understand all the build up, although it is not strictly necessary. This book is a great continuation of the series. The story and the characters are as strong and engaging as they have been in previous books. The story is full of twists and turns, it really feels like you are taken on a ride. You are drawn into the characters and their journey. This series has been such a strong one the whole way through, I am always excite when a new book is released. I would definitely recommend reading this series and I am looking forward to seeing what else might be next.

High Fae Academy – Year One: Fae Paranormal Romance by Kaylin Peyerk is an exciting start to a new series. You are drawn into this book immediately and will find yourself flying through it. This is a new author to me so I was looking forward to starting the book. I did feel at times like the story was a little rushed, or lacked a bit of depth to it. However the characters in the book more than made up for it. What a journey they will take you on. I was as torn as the MC in this book as to who I was more drawn to. I connected with all of them and really enjoyed getting to know them all. This book was a great way to learn about this author and I am looking forward to what comes next in the series.
Serenade by T.K. Lawyer is a brilliant example of a shifter story. Kingsley and Eva are clearly just right for each other no matter how much they may want to resist. I really found myself sinking into their story and their character development. I found them to be quite and intense couple. The story itself was well written. As the reader you are drawn in and it was hard to put down. If this is the genre that you enjoyed reading then I would definitely say to give this one a go.
Indebted to the Vampires by Erin Bedford is the first book in the House of Durand series. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I found it to be interesting. I enjoyed reading about the main character. She was frustrating and imperfect which made her so much better to read about! It felt like she was more real because of this which meant that she was more relatable. The overall story line was good. It kept you engaged throughout and definitely makes you want to read the next in the series. This was a great introduction to this author and it is a book I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

Why by Megan Mitchan is the second book in the Stalker series. This is one of those stories that will absolutely blow you away!!! This book consumed me. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through wanting to know what would happen. Genevieve is one of those characters that just stays with you. Even when I wasn’t reading this book I was thinking about her. This book is full of suspense and intrigue. It will keep you guessing throughout. As much as I enjoyed the first book in the series this one has definitely become my favourite. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Aberration by Naomi Valkyrie and Rebecca E. McEwen is a fantastic book that will completely draw you in! The moment I read the description to this book I just knew that I had to read it. I immediately wanted to know what was going on. As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked. I just loved the character of Anyanka!! I connected with her so easily and loved the way she was written. The collaboration of authors worked well. Their writing style fit well and the story was cohesive and interesting. This is a brilliant book and one I would highly recommend.

A Gentleman’s Stipulation by Jean Wilde is the fourth book in the Scarlet Salon series. This is steamy romance set in the regency era. It has all the hallmarks of a great regency book, including sassy heroine and dark brooding hero. I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance. The chemistry between the two main characters was electric, you could feel it ok each page. The story was interesting. The author developed it well, setting the scene then building it throughout. It was easy to lose yourself in the pages of this book for a while. This is a new author to me but I enjoyed her work. I will definitely read more in the future.

Music Man by K.L. Montgomery is the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This is a fun and charming series with highly relatable and amusing characters. I always love picking up a book in this series as they always feel so real and engaging. You can easily picture these characters as though they were people you would see every day. Reading about them is always so entertaining – you will laugh, you will cry, you will rage and you will fall in love. This book had it all and then some. I was hooked by the time I finished the first few pages. K.L. Montgomery is one of those authors that has a unique writing style. She seems to be able to turn her hand to anything she tries. P.A.W.S. by Debbie Manber Kupfer is the first book in the The P.A.W.S. Saga. This is an entertaining book with interesting characters. So I would definitely say this book is ideal for younger readers. I do enjoy reading young adult stories although I did find this one was probably my limit on how far I would go down. That being said for anytime that likes this genre it is definitely a book worth reading. The story was interesting and varied. I liked that different lore was combined in the book to create an in-depth world. The characters were fun to read about – the bad and the good. The range of personalities, and their links to their animal shapes, was done well. This is was a great book and one I enjoyed.

Age of Secrets by Christy Nicholas is the eighth book in the Druid’s Brooch series. This book is as original and enticing as the other books in the series. Not many authors are skilled enough to carry a series though a few books, let alone 8 of them. And yet with each book this author produces the series just gets better. This book is everything I have come to expect – it is creative and detailed. The author has a writing style that makes it so easy to imagine the world she is envisioning. The characters have such a depth to them that it is almost like you are there with them, experiencing everything they do. I have to say this series is nothing at all like I expected when I picked up the first book. I was hesitant, sure that I wouldn’t like it and now I can’t wait to see what might be next. This is a great book and a fantastic addition to the Druids Brooch series.

This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much if not more than the first one. This is a young adult story that is full of supernatural powers. It will keep you guessing as you try to figure out where the villians came from. This story is full of action with villains and heroes. The problem is you don’t know who is who and who is watching. Will the MC figure it out before it’s too late? I enjoyed the characters in this story. I had no problem connecting with them, even the villains who helped make the story flow and engaging. It is fast paced and had me turning pages fast. I highly recommend this book as well as the first one, you won’t regret picking them up.

Descendants of Time and Death by Winnifred Tataw is the second book in the God’s Scion series. This is a well written and detailed book with complex characters that you will be drawn to. This author is still relatively new to be but after reading this book I have a feeling they won’t be for long. I was absolutely captivated by the story and it’s characters. The were so compelling to read about. I love how much detail the author has gone to with the whole book. It made it feel so much more real. The storyline itself was also well done. I loved this book. This is one of my favorite series and who doesn’t love an awesome Mafia story! This book is full of action right from the first page and continues to the end. The characters made the story feel realistic and brought the heat and steam to the story. If you haven’t met Jay and his team, you will want to for sure! They bring twists and turns that left me turning pages fast. This is the second book in this series and I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help get the full effect of this story and characters. I was pulled into the story from the start and lost total track of time until I hit the last page. I highly recommend this book and this author.

License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 1) By Carrie Pulkinen 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen. It is a book that pulled me in as well as made me laugh. I loved reading about the characters of Jane Anderson and Ethan Devereaux. Jane is used to getting what she wants. She is sassy, ornery, independent, and opinionated. On a trip to New Orleans, she finds herself in the arms of Ethan. Ethan is a vampire, he has a strong reaction when he meets Jane, something that has not happened in a very long time. Thinking she is his late fiancée reincarnated he clams and turns her into a vampire. She can’t stand the sight of blood. He finds her to be loud and noisy. There is also something between them that they can’t deny. Jane has to learn to be a vampire and get her license or she can be staked. Will Jane get her license? What will they do about the emotions and feelings that they have for each other? What does the future hold for Jane and Ethan? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed the banter back and forth between Jane and Ethan. There are times when I would laugh out loud at the dialogue. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters that are introduced, especially Jane’s bestie. I love that the story is set in New Orleans. Don’t miss out on a vampire story that you won’t want to put down until the final page. This book has romance and will pull you into the supernatural world. I would highly recommend reading it.

Of Magic and Scales By Natalina Reis 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Of Magic and Scales by Natalina Reis. It is a book that I found myself not able to put down until I had finished the last page. It is a story that includes magic, magical creatures, mystery, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Aiden Mercer and Nael Fouchard. Aiden wants to live his life with no complications. Instead, he finds himself in the search for a killer. The search not only takes him away from the relaxed lifestyle he wants, but it also has him meeting Nael. Someone that he finds extremely attractive. Nael is a merman whose life is about protecting his little sister. He has found himself the prime suspect in the murders that are occurring. He has sought the help of Aiden to help him prove his innocence. The chemistry is strong and undeniable between Nael and Aiden. Even with the verbal back and forth between them they can’t help but feel the pull towards each other. What does the future hold for them? Will the killer be caught? Will Aiden and Nael deny their feelings or will they take a chance with each other? Read this book to find out. I grew to love the characters of Nael and Aiden with each chapter that I read. I couldn’t help but want them to be happy. I enjoyed reading the push and pull that plays out between them. Several other characters interact with Aiden and Nael that are wonderful to read about. This is a story that does have some steamy and romantic moments. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is a story that is entertaining and grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I would highly recommend reading it.
