I give Dares & Dice (Spicetopia Book 5) by Phoebe Alexander, 5 stars.
This book threw me. The main characters were quite vanilla at first, just at Spicetopia for bachelorette and bachelor parties. I didn’t see where this was going or how they would fit into the amusement park. But I have to admit, they surprised me. Which, reading this author quite a few times by now, I should have known better. They were quite entertaining and deeper than I originally thought. There were a few curveballs thrown at me too, which totally did not see.
This book can be read as a standalone, but the series is so entertaining and each book is so unique, I highly recommend reading the whole series. If you are a fan of fun romance that isn’t afraid to get a little dirty, this book is for you.

All my life, it seems, I’ve made mistakes. Once, I lost everything. Failure seems to follow me around.
I didn’t spot what a snake Snake was—he had planned a mutiny right under my nose. Yeah, he did well when he appointed me as his VP. I followed him blindly, never suspecting a thing.
Now Snake is dead and I’m the prez. I still spend my days doubting myself, but I’ve got the whole MC depending on me. If I get it wrong, it won’t just be me who goes down.
Then I meet her, a woman who needs me to keep her safe. I should warn her to stay far away, tell her I’m not a man she should lean on. I’m not a person to trust when I don’t have faith in myself.

Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

Love Gaia : The Diary Directive by T.L. Clark. This is a new to me author. While out of my normal genre, I did enjoy this book. This is a dystopian romance book, which usually would have me conflicted but I was engaging and the book, page by page pulled me in. I found myself following and completely enthralled in the story. I am looking forward to more books by this author.

Dare Me (The Demonology Series Book 1) By Felicity Brandon 5 out of 5 stars
The story Dare Me (The Demonology Series Book 1) by Felicity Brandon is a book that is interesting, intriguing, and one I had a hard time putting down once I had started. It pulled me in, and I was hooked. The story has demons, the paranormal, and steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. He is a powerful demon; she is a struggling artist looking for inspiration. He is determined that she will be his. What will happen when a dangerous game starts to be played? What does the future hold for them both? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me wondering what was going to happen next. The book is written in such a way that you feel the emotions that come from the artist as she tries to understand and wrap her mind around just who she has met and what he wants from her. The demon is a character that is self-assured and confident. I quickly found myself at the end of this story and still wanting to read more. I would highly recommend reading it.

Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) By CA Miconi 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) CA Miconi. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a story that had me hooked. I loved reading about the characters of Sally and Nolan. Sally is an intelligent and independent woman. She is a successful businesswoman. She finds herself running away from the only life she has always known. Then she meets Nolan. Nolan also runs a business. He has no plans to leave the town of Green Springs, Mississippi. He lost his wife to cancer and finds himself alone. Then he meets Sally. While they may have come from opposite places, they find an attraction to each other. What does the future hold for Nolan and Sally? Will they be able to find a way to overcome their differences? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down when reading. I grew to care about Nolan and Sally and wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters in the story as most of them have been brought forward from the first book. There are romantic moments included in this story. This is a book that is entertaining with characters you will fall in love with. I highly recommend reading it.

This is the third book in the series and so far it is my favorite! I liked the previous books but this one was really awesome. I connected to the characters and the author was able to bring the story to life. This story is about a vampire who wants nothing more than to disappear but he meets a witch that has him intrigued and she is unforgettable. She saves his life but can he return the favor? Every single book that this author puts out i have liked and she’s my go to for an awesome well written story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a good Paranormal/Fantasy story! Happy Reading!

Curse of Seduction is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatoryby C.R Robertson. You know when you read a book from a new (to you) author and only a few chapters in you realise that you will be stalking, I mean buying and reading everything they have ever written, including their grocery list if you could get your hands on it- well C.R Robertson is one of those authors! I can already tell that this is the beginning of a long addiction, one that I am oh so happy to feed! But, to be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure if I would love this book going in- I thought it would be Ok, but may be lacking in depth, story, and substance- by concentrating more on the ‘erotic’ component. But, colour me wrong!! This story isn’t just incredibly sexy- it has a fantastic storyline and superb characters as well. This is a masterfully crafted paranormal romance, with a complex and multi-layered storyline. There is a lot going on in it, including having the story told from several perspectives- but C.R Robertson deftly weaves it all into a delectably delicious and absolutely fascinating read. I was in bed when I started the story, in need of a good night sleep. I thought I would just read a chapter or two to get a ‘feel’ of the book, before going to sleep. Ha!!!! I was hooked from the very first page and was still reading a few hours later. By that time there was only a few chapters left in the book- so there was no chance of me putting it down before I had read every last word!!! Needless to say, I didn’t get my good night sleep- but I did discover a fantastic story and a new (to me) author to put on my “must read” list. So if you love a great paranormal romance- with a wonderful story, interesting and endearing characters (except for the baddy of course), some danger, and adventure- all set in a cleverly crafted ‘world’ full of any number of fantasy creatures (from dragons, to witches, vampires, elves, Lycans and more)…… then what are you waiting for? Get your one-click on and grab yourself a copy to explore, because I am sure your going to love it just as much as I have!! Now on to my C.R Robertson binge! Happy Reading!
Thank you, C.R Robertson. Looking forward to more time between your pages!

Let me start by saying that this book would make a great movie/TV series. It has everything you need to make it an enthralling read, and in turn, would transfer wonderfully well to the big screen. I can also see it being a great adventure game for PC, Xbox etc. Eagle of the Empireis the first book in the Relic Hunters series by Martin Ferguson. It is a YA adventure- with mystery, danger, historical details, Relic Hunters, a quest for “treasure”, wonderful quirky characters, intrigue, and so much more. This has a bit of a young Indiana Jones feel to it, but with its own unique flair. We meet Adam Hunter whose brother has mysteriously disappeared. His disappearance is tied to the fabled Eagle Standard of the Roman Ninth Legion, and is said to hold mythical powers. So, to free his brother, Adam and some quirky friends set off on a quest to find the relic. But they will need to move quickly, as they aren’t the only ones on the hunt for the mysterious relic. With an immortal and unhinged megalomaniac with sinister intentions to face off against, things will take an intense and dangerous turn. What happens makes for an exciting read- not only for young adults, but readers of all ages who enjoy a great adventure story! On to book #2!

This is a story about a twelve-year-old girl Grace, whose only friends are the spooky sweet ghosts including her cat, Midnight. She starts enjoying the company of the ghosts till one day she finds out the reason why there are so many ghosts around her. There is a spell which was cast on these people three hundred years ago, which turned them into ghosts. Grace realizes that she has magical abilities and she is the one who is destined to break this spell. But breaking it comes with its own consequences, she will lose everyone who is near and dear to her, including Midnight. Will Grace succeed in her effort forms the plot of the story. It is a sweet and a spooky story, especially meant for teens and middle grade students. When I read this book, I was reminded of this movie Casper, which is about a sweet little ghost which befriends a girl in the castle. This book is similar to the movie. It brings forth the emotions of Grace, her courage, determination and her turmoil all described really well. There are all types of ghosts, some friendly, some grumpy, and each character is unique. It is a fast paced, fun read with a spooky element in it. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Grace’s Ghosts was an excellent fast read. I sat down with this book and completely finished it within 1.5 hours. While this book is targeted towards young teenagers (middle school), as an adult, I loved this book too! Grace’s character building was excellent. You immediately feel connected to her and feel her emotions as they occur, as if they were your own. This story has many twists that leave you shocked until the very end. I would love to follow Grace on another adventure soon!

This was a book that sucked me into its world and did not let me go until the end. The world created was so vivid that I could see it in my mind and the characters were all great and I felt like I was a part of their world.
200 years ago, Ophelia bound herself to the four princes of Purgatory as a way to make herself more powerful. One of those princes was Ezekiel who is an incubus. For 200 years he has had his power stolen by Ophelia while she rages a war on all the realms of Purgatory. Enter Ilana…a half-vampire half-human warrior fighting to bring an end to Ophelia’s terror reign. However, one look between Ilana and Ezekiel sets into motion a series of events that were fated hundreds of years ago. Can Ophelia save Ezekiel from the curse without sacrificing herself? Why have those close to her been lying to her for years? You’ll have to read to find out the answers.
This is book covers one of the princes…so I am assuming future books will focus on the other princes. I found it hard to put the book down because I wanted to know what was going to happen. I will be looking forward to reading about the other princes in the future.

Alexander doesn’t disappoint – well, EVER – when looking for a steamy read. And the escapades continue at her adult resort called Spicetopia. This fifth installment in the series can be read as a stand-alone. But you won’t want to… the writing is just way too good. You’ll laugh and cry and threaten to throat punch. And you’ll definitely need a fan and a cold drink. But you will love this book and series. I know I do!
This paranormal romance was everything I hoped for and nothing what I expected. Can we just say one word – Ezekiel?! Wow…
And you know you’ve got an amazing story when you love to hate the antagonist. She absolutely hands down made the story what it was.
I can’t go in to detail without just spoiling everything but your hopes will be high for an amazing ride just from the blurb copy. And you will be pleasantly surprised by the just amazing story that will unfold in front of you. Cannot wait to read more!

Curse of Seduction by C.R. Robertson was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start out by learning about how Ezekiel was cursed. Every time he is with a woman the Blood queen takes a piece of their memory, which is why he tries to only be with them once so they don’t become like a corpse.
Ilana is part human and part vampire, she has been keeping a secret. She can’t feed from a human without getting sick to her stomach. She has been able to hide it so far without any issues, but how long will it be before someone finds out her secret? She has been crushing on Ezekiel for years, every time she sees him her body gets very needy. When Ezekiel and his brothers have to pick people to fight with them, she ends up being picked by Ezekiel. He is intrigued by her and want’s to learn more about her.
I can’t tell you how much I loved Ilana, she had me LOL so many times with her thoughts. Every woman had that one man she’d give her left fang to spend a night with. Mine was Ezekiel, Prince of the Incubi. He was sex on legs.
Ezekiel, wow where to start with him, he was hot and he could rock a woman’s world in bed. Ilana was a strong character that could definitely hold her own in a fight. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. It has been quite a while that I’ve read this genre and loved it. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Dares & Dice (Spicetopia #5) by Phoebe Alexander was as steamy as ever! As the fifth book in the series this book still managed to keep my attention. I was hooked from the get go. Definitely can be read as a standalone but it is nice to have the complete picture. I have to say the plot twist of this book was super unexpected, I was floored. I absolutely loved Makenna and Tyler. I hope this series never ends!
I really enjoyed reading Grace’s Ghosts by Stephenie Wilson Peterson. A young girl named Grace has a best friend Midnight, who happens to be a ghost. All of Grace’s friends are ghosts but she really doesn’t mind, anything is better than the kids at school. Grace finds out that her town, Tansy, is under a curse. If Grace figures out how to break the curse she could risk losing Midnight and all of her friends. I loved this book because I feel that it could speak to a lot of kids around Grace’s age. Many kids have a hard time fitting in and Grace shows how to embrace being different. All the characters were really likable, especially Grace, the story line was well developed, and as an adult I was kept interested throughout the whole story.

Curse of Seduction (Dark Princes of Purgatory Book 1) by CR Robertson is a fantastic paranormal story that had me engrossed in it from start to finish. If a paranormal story is done right and you can’t put it down because all you want to do is stay immersed in the story, then it means it was done right and CR did an amazing job. With magic and many different magical creatures, like succubus and incubus, witches and elves, lycan and vampires and more then you have a story that is easy to stay lost in. I was able to vividly picture every character and CR’s world building and wordsmithing allowed my imagination to go wild. It is seduction at its best and if this is purgatory sign me up.
Ilana has always been different but it is not until she meets the one in her fantasies that she finally starts to see what has been suppressed all these years.
Zek is unsure what to make of the strange creature before him. All he knows is she is not what she seems and somehow she may be the one to break the curse. Little did he know she may be more than anyone may realise.
I certainly look forward to the next books in the series and hope they are available now.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It brings romance and heat to the story that pulls you in right from the beginning. This story will show you that sometimes even if you are opposites that you can still find a common ground and build a relationship. I had no problems connecting to the characters. They brought the story to life with each page I turned. Sally thought she had it all until she lost her mom to cancer and Nolan thought the same thing but he lost someone he loved. They are complete opposites but they have such chemistry that they heat up the pages. What will fate have in store for these two? Is it possible that they can build a relationship and find happiness they both deserve? This is a great romance story that I would highly recommend. I can’t wait to read more from this author for sure.

Curse of Seduction (Dark Princes of Purgatory Book 1) by CR Robertson
5-Stars
This was an engaging, steamy, and invigorating novel. An excellent paranormal romance novel with a fascinating plot. The climax of this story had me reeling! Curse of Seduction is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series and it was perfect starter. The starting scene immediately pulled me I and I was hooked. The four princes were cursed by an evil and powerful witch. There are no known solutions to break the curse at the start. Ilana thought she was just a hybrid vampire until Ezekiel became interested in her. She discovered there was so much more to her and that due had been lied to. These characters and all the other lesser characters were wonderful and developed well. I loved this book and could not put it down. It was easy for me to give it 5-stars. I highly recommend it.

Rebecca Steele Finding The Dream by Joanne Patterson was a great story! This is the second book in the Rebecca Steele series, but I haven’t read the first and this definitely read like a standalone novel! It took me a little bit to get completely into it however, as at the beginning of the story (well to be honest throughout the whole story, but I got used to it after a while) the timelines and time itself wasn’t clearly defined, so I would catch myself being in one place, and then out of nowhere, somewhere else with there being no justifiable shift of time to make sense of where I went. The story was very sweet, and very romantic. There was a slight twist to the story I wasn’t expecting that made the ending much better than I was hoping for! This is definitely a story for just about all ages. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Ruth Mitchell is a new author to me. I could not have picked a better story to start reading her books. This is a YA science fiction story with a twist of mystery mixed in. The characters are complex and interesting. The plotline is engaging and I found myself turning the pages quickly to see what is coming next. We are introduced to Lucy. Lucy loves everything old. This is interesting since she is a mind-hacker. She did not realize that her sister was a mind-hacker. There is much more for Lucy to learn. Throughout this story, you follow Lucy. You learn what she can do. What will Lucy do now she knows she is a mind-hacker? Can Lucy find whom she is looking for to save lives so their lives are rewritten?

5 Star Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides is a Young Adult Fantasy that has plenty of action, suspense that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. This is the third book in the Black Blade series and I highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already. Megan is newly adopted and is fixing to take on a new quest that involves murder and mystery. While on the quest she continues to ask herself who the real enemy is? Tyson is a bit cocky and has an attitude and megan is in control of watching over him.I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Curse of Seduction by CR Robertson is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series. The story is a great fantasy with witches, vampires, curses, and more. Ezekiel has been cursed by an evil Queen. The curse harms every woman he takes blood from. What will happen when Ezekiel meets Ilana? Ilana has always felt defective, but when she meets Ezekiel everything starts to change. I really enjoyed the story and the relationship that Ezekiel and Ilana form. There are challenges and passion between the two that develops. Can the two of them battle the curse before Ilana is changed forever? The writing leads a wonderful and interesting story with a good development of the characters. I look forward to seeing more in this series and reading more from this author.

Curse of Seduction (Dark Princes of Purgatory Book 1) by CR Robertson. This book was amazing. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Its the story of Ophelia Blood Queen who has cursed 4 Princes of Purgatory centuries ago in order to become the Queen of Purgatory, the Queen of all Realms. The only thing that can save them is a blood sacrifice. Ilana is a vampire of sorts meaning she can’t feed like normal vampires and the touch of a male causes her horrible pain. She has believed for 200 years that she is defective but when she runs into Ezekiel her witch powers awaken as they sense the presence of her mate. Finally its made clear why she has so much strength & abilities of a vampire but not be able to feed. Ezekiel was also cursed and every time he fees the Queen takes something away from his mate: a memory, a feeling, a huge part of their being that messes them up forever. When Ezekiel feels the urge to feed can Ilana stop the curse that will change her forever with no going back? This book is a fast paced thriller. Get ready to be sucked in!

I loved this book! This is a paranormal story that is full of action, suspense and even some romance. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning. It is an engaging story that had me turning pages to the end. The characters are creative, they range from witches to vampires to werewolves and a few more. I had no problems connecting with them. They are supportive of each other which made the story easy to read. Ilana has finally come into her witch powers only to have Ezekiel, a prince, find her in his army. A curse was put on four princes by the Blood Queen and Ezekiel is one of them. Can he be saved before his curse turns Ilana into a sex slave? I read this book in one sitting as it is that good. I highly recommend this book and this author

Feisty Heroines is a collection of thirty books, all with a strong female lead.
This review is for Good Bones by Maggie Adams.
Cassandra ‘Casey’ Sparks takes care of her mother’s legacy, a hospice home that’s set in an old crumbling mansion. The mansion has seen better days, and with a failed inspection under her belt Casey comes up with a plan to turn it into a bed and breakfast, she just needs the funds. Griffin is mourning the loss of his beloved grandfather and wants to pay tribute to his memory by opening a resort in the place where he spent his dying days. He knows he might have to play dirty to convince Casey to sell. This is a short sweet read and a great addition to the Feisty Heroines anthology. Casey is strong willed, smart and fights for what she believes in. She also has a heart of gold, and you really want her to get the happy ending she deserves.
Curse of Seduction by CR Robertson is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series. This is an extremely well written and exciting story that really had be hooked right from the start. Ilana and Ezekiel are brilliant characters. Their lives are so cleverly intertwined. You really get behind them. I had to find out if they would be able to break the curse. The author has done a great job of weaving a story that carries you effortlessly through to the end. It was original enough that it didn’t feel like many other books of this genre. The was well developed with the right scenes in all the right places. This was a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Oh holy hotness! This book was a last minute read that I picked solely based on the explosive and sexy cover, and boy was I glad that I did! This one picked up with the drama, action, and more right from the get go. I could not put this down until I found out how this book was going to end. I am even more excited to find out this will be a series and something I get to delve back into time and again in the future, always a win-win situation.
This book has it all for the lovers of paranormal romance. So many different layers are woven throughout that make this book play like a movie in your mind as you read. Ophelia is the main female and really our protagonist to say the least. She has to be one of the best wicked women that I have read in a long while. She saves no mercy and this book is made because of it. I was a huge fan of Ezekiel and his whole story really plays well throughout. I won’t divulge much more of the storyline that is already given in the blurbs etc. because I can’t bear to ruin the story for anyone! It is definitely worth every moment of your time and a must read 5 star novel. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next novel in the series soon and see what else is available by CR Robertson soon!

This is a heartbreaking story about a young person suffering from mental illness. It was really well written that allowed you to really understand what it feels like to suffer from this illness and how it effects everyone’s lifes not just the person who has it.
Henry loves with his mum and his big brother Tyler. Tyler is struggling with mental health problems but his mum is so focused on being a good mum and providing for her two boys that she doesn’t see the signs or her sons struggles.
That is until their next door neighbour is attacked in her home. No ones knows who has done it but the two main suspects are Tyler and his friend Derek.
All evidence points to Tyler as the main suspect but his mother and Henry don’t believe it.
Was it Tyler who committed the horrible crime or was it Derek? Was Tyler in sound mind or was it voices pushing him forwards.
