Being Lost is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. It is the latest story in the Satan’s Devils MC world and the first book for the San Diego chapter- although we have met them before in previous books. I have read all of Ms. Mellett’s books now, and always enjoy what she produces- and even though I did like this book, it didn’t blow me away like some of her previous stories did. I just didn’t ‘feel’ this one as much as I would have liked. Lost and Patsy are more mature characters which was great to see. So that provided an interesting dynamic to the story. While there was suspense and mystery to the story, I didn’t feel the intensity and tension that normally comes with Ms. Mellett’s work. Entertaining- wonder what Ms. Mellett has in store for us next?

Help Me Harry (Collection: Sun, Sand & A Ring On My Hand Book 2) by Mya O’Malley is one romance story that will stir up your emotions and make your heart ache a little. Due to the wonderful writings of Mya the characters are lovable and relatable. It is a quick and easy read and I was truly invested in them and their journey. From second guessing and reservations to hurt and pain from prior relationships you can’t help but fall in love and want to tell them that everything will be ok. This sweet romance will have you believing in love at first sight.

Into the Lion’s Den: (A Christian Cozy Mystery) (Reverend Margot Quade Cozy Mysteries Book 1) by Sarah Biglow is a quick and easy cozy murder mystery read. It is a simple mystery with a good storyline, and enough suspense to keep you interested and will keep you guessing. It is definitely different from the other cozy mysteries, where faith and mystery are blended neatly. The story is very succinct, and Sarah pulls it all together nicely.
A friendly dinner invitation, a snowstorm and a murder see Reverend Margot putting all the pieces together in this “who-done-it” style story.

Well i say this every time and I’ll keep saying it im sure, but this author has one heck of a gift with writing. This is the first book of the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils, and while we have met some of these members in other books, we get to see them on their home turf.
Laying low seems to be the premise of this book for both Lost and Patsy. I am so so happy to be able to see what happens after Inks story (from a previous book) with Patsy and her son. Again I was rolling through my emotions and even though its an older couple, and done so well I might add, we still get the key things we look for in a motorcycle club romance and especially with this group of bikers. I can’t wait to see where this chapter of the club goes.

As soon as I finished Fade (book 1 in the series) I had to start Fall. The story starts within moments of where the first book ended. Arionna is recovering in the hospital and Dace is beating himself up because he couldn’t keep her safe. These two have a bond that has kept them together for many lifetimes. Their relationship is strained at times but as the books progress, you can really see how much they love each other and how committed they are to saving everyone. There are moments when Arionna seems to get swallowed up in her feelings but isn’t that what many of us did when we were young and trying to figure out what we are on this earth for?

This is the first book that I have read from this author and it blew my mind. I can see this book as a movie or a mini series. This book is the first book in the new Relic Hunters series. This was a great start to an awesome series. These characters drew me into the story right away and I could not put the book down until I finished it. This book is a young adult but I really enjoyed the adventure that this author brought me on. I can’t wait to see what is next for these amazing characters.
Adam Hunter is your everyday high school boy. He has all his buddies and he also has a crush on a girl. Adam comes home from school and he is told that his older brother went missing. He was told that his brother was on a secret mission and they lost contact with him. Adam starts doing his own digging and leaves him with some clues on where his brother might be. He finds himself in a place he never knew existed. Adam and some friends are good on an adventure of their lives. Will Adam find his brother or will this mission be too dangerous?

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellet
Yes, we have another chapter of the Satan’s Devils to read about. I’m so excited about the San Diego branch because I love these guys.
Lost is the President of the San Diego branch. He has some issues from his past that seem to linger but he’s a great guy and just like the others in this series he will do what he has to to protect the club and family.
Patsy is not a stranger to the club environment, her daughter is with someone out of Colorado. She has someone from her past chasing her and the Devil’s are stepping up to help.
I’m looking forward to getting to know each of the guys in San Diego and watch them fall like their brothers in Arizona and Colorado.
There was the right amount of suspense and intrigue without being cheesy about it. Ms. Mellett has been good about that in all of the books of hers I have read.
Wonder which once of the big guys is going to follow next.

Being Lost by Manda Mellet was another great MC read! This is the first book in the new Satan’s Devils San Diego series and it does not disappoint. It follows what happens in the Colorado series, so it makes more sense to read those first before this one, even though this one could technically be a stand alone novel. Full of suspense, thrills, some humor and steam, this is another great motorcycle club read. I could hardly put this book once I started reading it. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel!

This story held my attention from the first page until the last page. I was looking for a mystery with a thriller tone to it. Lawrence Parlier’s The Frontman did just that gave me a story that I could not put down. His character development is complex and full of zeal. The plot-line is full of twists and turns and kept me flipping the pages because I could not wait to see what was coming. This story is about a music man, Kerry. At the beginning of his tour, he is found dead. The question his family is asking is it accidental or was it murder. Watch and see how the family handles the death of Kerry. Will it turn out to be accidental or murder? Can there be justice? I highly recommend this story. I will caution you once you start this book you may not be able to put it down.

Wow! What a great story! This easily kept my interest and yet the storytelling made me keep reading to get answers. I loved it! The characters are lovely. They have depth to them that slowly comes out over the story. Remy is an amazing character! She is outlandish and made me laugh more than once. Finn and Trev are both seriously sexy men and they each have that certain commanding presence that draws me over and over. Gabrielle is full of mystery and faithfulness. I can’t wait to see when she becomes fully in control.
I loved the flow of the story with characters that drew me in. That “flight” scene was done wonderfully! I could almost “feel” what it was like to be able to do that! Well Done! I can not wait for the next one!

Blessed: Academy of the Seraph by Brandi Elledge is a fantastic new series. I will warn you that this book ends on a cliffhanger leaving you wanting more. The story is interesting and new and left me excited to get through the book. I really enjoyed the interactions between angels and humans and how their relationship has developed over the course of the book. I really enjoyed the main character and how she learned about herself and the people around her. This is a great book for a teen and older. I like the changing dynamics between the characters. There are some you can trust and some you can’t and trials and tribulations bring out the best or worst in people. I look forward to reading more from this series in the future and from this author.

This story continues from the first story Fade. The characters are complex and well thought out. The plot-line has fantasy, prophecy, Norse mythology, and danger. The characters are fully developed and I felt a connection as the story went on. The story has a fast pace feel and I found myself not getting enough and turning the pages more quickly. This story has many characters who support one another. Arionna is trying to get Dace past his guilt. She does not want him to fall apart. Will Arionna have to go through to save the people she loves? I highly recommend this story.

Author Manda Mellett does it again with another stellar MC book Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1. Lost is the current President of the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. The only reason he is President is because he used to be VP until his president ended up getting himself killed and then he was voted in. But every day he questions whether he is making the right choices for his club. He’s been asked by the Colorado chapter to keep an eye on a member’s old lady’s mother and brother who have relocated. Soon trouble comes knocking and Lost must decide if this woman is worth jeopardizing the safety of his club. Patsy made a huge decision to move with her son to a new place, secluded from her past life. Unfortunately it seems to catch up with her, but not before Satan’s Devils find her. She knows she needs protection but hasn’t been with a man since her ex-husband. She knows she can trust Lost, but does he believe enough in himself? Yet another amazing MC novel written by this author. I love that she uses story lines from other books to tie together the clubs, but you don’t have to read the other novels to understand this one (although I highly recommend you do). I love the way the author is able to make two unlikely people just fit so perfectly for one another. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and look forward to others by Manda Mellett.

Exciting and engaging, Blessed: The Academy of Seraph by Brandi Elledge, is a 5-Star read. I loved the characters and how easy it was to visualize them as I read. I give Ashes To Ashes Box Set: Books 1 to 3 by Rowena Holloway, 5 stars.
This set is amazing! When I started the first book, I wasn’t sure what to think. But that was solved when I quickly learned that I could not put the book down. Each book in this set does that — pulls you in with stories and characters that are so compelling. Some people, you want to know more of; others you love to hate. The stories themselves are gripping and leave you guessing until the end.
With a superb cast and stories you submerge yourself in, this set is a great buy and I highly recommend it for those who like psychological suspense.

This is the 2nd book of The Ragnarok Prophesis. And wow what a story. It is full of action and fantasy. Love and heartbreak. It is so well written you can’t help but feel every emotion. It has had me in tears and you can really feel the emotional struggle the characters go through.
Arianna and Dace are shapeshifters and soul mates. Brought together by Odin their job is to stop Hati and Skoll from completing their tasks and freeing Fenrir. If he got free that would mean the end of the world.
Over the years and centuries they have fought side by side and everytime Dace has had to stand by as his love is killed by Hati and Skoll.
The year is now 2010 and they find each other again. However this time Airanna’s wolf is so diminished she can no longer shift and Dace is terrorise by all the times he was unable to save her. With the guilt constantly playing on his mind he starts to put their other friends at risk just to keep her safe.
Arianna knows he cant go on like this else he will go down a road he cannot be redeemed from and may cause the end of the world so she makes the heartbreaking decision to leave him.
Can they survive apart? Will her departure mean he can release his guilt and get back to focusing on stopping Skoll and Hati? Or will this sacrifice she makes of destroying her heart still end up with everyone she loves dying instead of saving them.

Being Lost is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. I’m a huge fan of Manda Mellett having read several of the Satan’s Devils Arizona books and all of the Colorado ones. I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive of a new series as I’d grown to love the guys in the other series’ and was worried about getting another new bunch to get to know. This was just me being stupid as I should have known that Manda Mellett would not let me down. I loved that she used links to the other 2 chapters from the very beginning to make you feel right at home straight away without feeling overwhelmed with all the new characters. Being 1 short of the Big dreaded 5 0, I loved that Being Lost’s story centred around a couple in their early 50’s. It’s such a welcome change to read about an older couple who don’t have perfect bodies. They have a few extra pounds here and there and a few grey hairs and wrinkles but still have a very sexy storyline. There is hope for me yet!! Lol. As with other Satan’s Devil’s book there is a great storyline running along with the romance of the main couple involved. The storyline in this book was thrilling and dangerous and a carefully worked out plot. I’m in awe of how Manda Mellett writes these amazing stories. I just can’t get enough of the Satan’s Devils.

Calamity under the Chandelier by Camilla Blythe is the first book in the Sleuthing Starlet Mystery series. This is a great who-dun-it style book that is thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. The author has really written this book well. It has an interesting storyline that really pulled you in to it. It kept you interested with twists thrown in throughout. I loved trying to figure out who was the one responsible. The characters were really entertaining. It was the mixing of two worlds and it seemed to work really well. For me they really added to the overall story and just made a good book even better. As the first book in the series I thought this was a great way to start it off and I am looking forward to reading what is to come next.

One of my favorite movies is the second Santa Clause when Scott Calvin must find a wife by Christmas Eve. Imagine my excitement when I stumbled across the synopsis of Wrapped Up in You! While Christmas is still many months away, this was a perfect book for a Christmas in July feel and an escape from all that is going on in the real world right now. This is the first book I’ve read by Erin Bevan but it certainly will not be my last. Erin has a talent for creating characters that you really feel connected to and want what is best for. The story flowed very well from beginning to end and I couldn’t wait to see how things unraveled. If you love the spirit of Christmas, a good romance or an escape from reality, this is for you.

Blessed: Academy of the Seraph by Brandi Elledge is a fantastic YA paranormal fantasy story that had me enthralled all the way through. I loved it. All I could think about is how many hours of work I had left before I could pick it up again. Brandi did good with this story and her writing style has the ability to transport you right into the story. The plot is gripping, and the characters are deep, complex and relatable. The world she has envisioned is complex and believable and beautifully woven. It has all the ingredients and magic to make for a great read. There is suspense and heartache, fun and humour, action and adventure, second chance and romance. I absolutely loved it. I am now anxiously waiting for the book.

The Wandering Isles: A Crown of Stones Novella (The Crown of Stones Novella Series Book 1) By C. L. Schneider 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book The Wandering Isles: A Crown of Stones Novella (The Crown of Stones Novella Series Book 1) by C. L. Schneider. It is a story that has magic and takes the characters to the Wandering Isles. There they find action and danger. I loved reading about the characters of Ian and Jarryd. The book comes alive as you read from their POV. The story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. This is a dark fantasy book that had me on the edge of my seat. I found my emotions going up and down with both Ian and Jarryd’s as they try to understand the race of beings that they have encountered as well as the situations that they are subjected to. This is a book that had me feeling like I was right there with Jarryd and Ian. I have read The Crown of Stones Trilogy and was excited that I would once again have an opportunity to read about another adventure of two of my favorite characters. Don’t miss out on an entertaining story that you will not want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading this book.

Nemechek continues to weave an amazing story that began in book one. I truthfully loved book one and had high hopes for this second installment. I’m very thankful it lived up to my expectations. It continued to play to my love of historical fiction while maintaining relevance to today. If you enjoy fiction similar to Outlander, you will enjoy the characters, pace, and plot of The Traveler series.

Wrapped Up in You by Erin Bevan is a fun and sweet romance that is unique and original. Erin has given us a twist on the North Pole and its inhabitants. This wonderfully written Christmas tale will transport you to another world where Elves, magic and wily and sassy reindeer are the norm. This easy read is a nice way to spend some you time and take time out to get lost in the fun. I absolutely fell in love with this story and the wonderful characters. It is warm, cheery and a nice change of pace.
When a stranger suddenly finds himself in the most magical place in the world it is hard to believe that it could be all real. But real or not he must prove himself and try and fix the mess he made when he literally landed in the wrong place.

Wrapped up in You is not your every day love story, but I have loved all the books I’ve read by Erin Bevan, so I dove right in. I ended up loving it. It is a cute love story, but with a magical Christmas twist. The connection between Jenny and Logan was instantaneous, but the circumstances complicated things. Jenny is the daughter of Santa Claus, and has to pick her husband within the next 3 weeks, in a bachelorette style contest. Weeks before Christmas, on the night of her big Gala, Logan crashed his plane into the toy workshop, destroying half a years work of work, and has lost his memory. In an attempt to urge everyone to pickup extra shifts, Jenny agrees to marry the hardest working. The level of competition, sabotage, and trickery is fun to read about, both elf and human. We discover more about Jenny and Logan little by little, as they get to know each other. We also get to know her suitors a bit more, and I must say, I want to know more about Benigan. Its a cute story, and is clean which is always a plus in my opinion. I love the Christmas twist and the little hints and secrets of Christmas magic that are inserted here and there. Recommended reading, and once again, Bevan did not disappoint.

I enjoyed this holiday Christmas story alot. It was very fairytale like with a princess and a prince charming! This is my first book by this author but it will not be my last! I liked the flow of the story and I thought it was well written and i loved all of the main characters. They were likeable and I connected with them really easily. This is a story about two people looking for their happily ever afters and conquering all of the roadblocks along the way. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to anyone that likes a lovely holiday fairytale! Happy Reading!

Ashes To Ashes Boxset (books 1-3) by Rowena Holloway was a thrilling 5 star read. This is a box set of three great must read Psychological thrillers with lots of suspense.
Bad Things Happen: Book #1 This is Charlotte and Joey’s story and it was a thrilling mystery about a secret that Joey, a football player shares with Charlotte. Charlotte is a reporter looking for her big break and when Joey takes a chance on her she knows she is on the verge of getting what she wants.
Loyalty and truth? No freaking way. There is no loyalty. And in this life there is only one truth. Everybody lies.
Charlotte is determined to get that secret from Joey, but things take a very dangerous twist. Now that Joey is gone, will Charlotte solve the mystery behind Joey’s death before anyone else gets hurt? Who can she trust?
The story is told in alternating POV going from past to present which helped with understanding the story and being pulled right in. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I really liked the secondary characters.
Less You Know: Book #2 Charlotte is a very strong and determined woman. Once she gets on the trail of something or someone she doesn’t stop until she gets answers and Tyrone is the one she is focused on.
When Charlotte’s friend Allie disappears, she starts looking for her, as she’s searching she uncovers some secrets about Allie. What will happen when/if she learns the truth about both Allie and Tyrone?
I was pulled in once again by the author’s writing, I felt like I was right there with the characters. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I love a good story that has me thinking the whole time and I was surprised with the ending as well. There are several twists and turns. The secondary characters were great.
From The Ashes: Book #3 I was excited to get this final book. You get pulled in right from the beginning. Charlotte is a journalist who is looking for the truth behind some recent deaths. She is trying to put the pieces together to help solve the mystery. The closer she gets to figuring out things the more dangerous it gets.
There is so much more to this great read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There are several twists and turns. Rowena Holloway does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing, I can’t wait to read more from her.
