The Slaughter of Leith Hall by Lexie Conyngham was an interesting historical read. I had some trouble getting into the story but found myself picking it up time and time again. The writing was well done and the character development felt authentic. I loved the little surprises that came up now and again. I did not see the story going in the direction that it did. While not being my normal genre to pick up and dive into this was definitely worth the read!
