Drifting, Falling: Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman – Review by Liz Vrchota

Drifting, Falling -- Diary of a Call Girl SuicideDrifting, Falling — Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a new to me author but I read the blurb and saw a few teasers and I was drawn in instantly. I needed to know what the story was even it if was going to be a difficult one to get through. I will say yes this talks and deals with depression and suicide in depth from the very first page until the last, but the author does this with a great passion and with class that I have rarely found in difficult reads. This is one that will make you think and realize there are many people who suffer and walk the line between life and death daily, some of us just hide it so very well. I hope this can bring some comfort to those either grieving or suffering from suicidal thoughts. I really was enthralled in Ripley’s story. The way we saw glimpses of her diary and then got input from her psychiatrist was a unique way to tell this kind of story and I enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing what else is out there by AJ Ullman in the very near future!
