Imagine a theme park where all your fantasies can be fulfilled.

No need to imagine. Welcome to Spicetopia–where variety is the spice of life!

Book 1: Sugar & Spice

Cy Sweet has always been the black sheep of his family, which is probably why he was chosen to go Undercover Boss in Sweetopia, his family’s theme park. Enticed by his father’s bribe, he dons an apron to serve pastries in Cotton Candy Castle, one of the park’s most popular attractions.

He’s tempted to blow his cover when he meets The Red Velvet Queen. Sure, she’s a costumed character and the jewels in her crown are fake, but she’s absolutely breathtaking. His desire only grows when he invents a baker’s dozen reasons to visit her every day…enough visits to discover her sweetness comes with a side of spice.

But they’re both in disguise. The Queen is actually single mom Jolie Cox, who relentlessly struggles to make a living for herself and her sons. And Cy is actually her boss, not to mention heir to the corporate empire she despises.

What will happen when their identities are finally unmasked?

Book 2: Virtue & Vice

The creators of Spicetopia know adulting is hard. Bills. Mortgages. Parenting. Estate planning. Sometimes you just need to kick back and indulge your inner kid–except now that inner kid has grown-up tastes.

Two couples set out to create a world of adult fun in a slice of paradise called Spicetopia. Cy and Jolie have experience from the kids’ theme park Cy’s family owns. Moon and Katja bring technical and architectural expertise to the table. Can these four work together and build their dream world–while having plenty of adult fun along the way? Or will their dream end up being flushed right down the toilet?

Book 3: Fire & Ice

Someone is trying to sabotage Spicetopia’s grand opening. Neve Romano, Director of Security, and Enya Moore, Director of Public Relations, have never gotten along. But they find themselves thrust right into the middle of the melee…and at the mercy of a madman.

Can they work together to keep themselves and the park alive?

And can they keep their passion from sparking a whole new fire?

Book 4: Naughty & Nice

Micah Greene didn’t know what to expect when he was asked to officiate a wedding at a theme park catering to “grown-ups.” He’d worked so hard to keep himself on the straight and narrow after he saw what promiscuity and debauchery had done to his brothers. He would somehow resist the seductress event planner he had to work with…no matter how hard he was…ahem…IT was.

Surely he could control his naughty thoughts around her. It was just one week, right?

Natalie Roux joined the Spicetopia staff as the official event planner, and her first big event was the owner’s wedding. She wanted to make a good first impression, but the minister they brought in to officiate the ceremony was a sugarplum she wouldn’t mind sinking her teeth into. She needed to keep her hands (and mouth) to herself if she was going to pull off the holiday wedding of the century!

She could be nice and not let herself get into trouble. It was just one week…right?

When you’re done with this boxed set, don’t miss Spicetopia #5 – Dares & Dice!

Secure Again (Chase Security Series #2) by R.L. Dunn – Review by Jana Teppih

Secure Again (Chase Security Series Book 2)Secure Again by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Secure Again is the second book in R.L. Dunn’s Chase Security Series. After finishing the opening to the series, I knew that I will need to get on her notification email list so that I would not miss out on the other books in the series AND I tell you, based on the sixteen founding members, we will have sooo much to look forward to! You can read every book as a standalone but I promise you, you will want to read all of the books in the series as you get to know the guys better and better and you start making connections and the pleasure you get … Just open the book and look at the list of the people listed at the beginning of each story … oh my … firstly, thank you for that list and secondly, seeing this list I can just dream about the hours we will be sending in this Chase Security universe!
Secure Again is Martin Bailey is the CEO of Chase Security International and one of the founding members and who is based out of DC. He has to return to the Midwest suddenly because of the family emergency and he comes face to face with Dr Elizabeth Reed, his one and only … There is so much heartbreak and so much pain in this story and it goes beyond Marty and Beth’s story, it shows us the perverse corrupt side of humanity and how much it takes to try to make things right …
Kudos to the writer for putting together such a fast paced story that is so interwoven and intricate and heart breaking and … it has everything that one can wish for when picking up a book! I cannot wait to head to San Diego with Julian next!

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space Book 3) by Landra Graf – Review by Sheri Schrader

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space Book 3)The Body Collector by Landra Graf
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Body Collector by Landa Graf is the third book in the Bad Boys of Space series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone story. The story focuses on Big Al and Loyda. The two of them are in opposite parts of society but happen upon one another. Can one possibly be able to help the other? I enjoyed the characters and the space setting. It gives the story a bit of unrealness but still grounded in a futuristic reality. This story is a quick read and has action, adventure, twists, turns, and romance. There is something for almost everyone who wants to get away for a bit. I see this series as getaways from the seriousness of life. Don’t we all need that this year? I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

High Flyer (Verdant String, #4)High Flyer by Michelle Diener
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5/5 Stars

High Flyer (Verdant String Series #4) by Michelle Diener

The first book I’ve read by the author. This is part of the Verdant String Series, but can be read as a stand alone. If I could give it more stars I would. Diener did an amazing job.

Hana, a pilot, doesn’t want to give in to her boss, but then they’re taken down. Hana, being the flyer she is, manages to avoid being hit. The quote I chose for Hana is: “Let’s see how overgrown it is on the outside and whether we can get a runner out at all.”

Iver, head-of-planet and Hana’s boss, finally gets the girl, but it doesn’t come easy. Iver finds that he’s being hunted down because people are worried about something he plans on building. The quote I chose for Iver is: “I can’t get taken. I won’t be used as a tool for them to get off planet with that shielding device.”

Science Fantasy lovers this is your book!

Secure Again (Chase Security Series #2) by R.L. Dunn – Review by Michelle Austin

Secure Again (Chase Security Series Book 2)Secure Again by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Secure Again: A Chase Group Story was a great 5 star read.
Once I started I couldn’t put it down. There is so much going on with all the characters.
Elizabeth is a surgeon and Martin is the CEO of Chase Security.

Elizabeth is a very caring person and becomes concerned when she starts seeing patients from the local jail coming in with injuries. When Martin gets called home after his brother has been shot, he finds out that Elizabeth is the one keeping his brother alive. These two have a history that didn’t end well for them.

As the investigation continues on both the shooting and the jail injuries things intensify. Can Chase Security get the answers and solve the mystery? Will Elizabeth and Martin reconnect and have a second chance at a HEA?

Overall I loved this book, I was pulled right in and couldn’t wait to see what was coming next. You get suspense, mystery, romance and so much more. I am really enjoying this series. All of the secondary characters are great. I highly recommend this series.

Deadly Weapon
Jake Wolfe
Book 5
By Mark Nolan
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
This is such an intense story. With what is going on in the US, this story touched life as I know it at this time. This is a must read!

Jake Wolfe and his trusted partner Cody are at it again. They are a great team and I swear Cody reads Jakes thoughts before they are said. What a Strong powerful team. I want them on my side, that’s for sure! Jake is fighting against time and what could be the end of the population as we know it. Evil has entered and it must be stopped. One criminal at a time. Read how this thriller plays out.

Mark Nolan once again graced my tablet, with this suspenseful story. It is a page turning book you will enjoy as much as I did. Jake and Cody are the best characters in this story. But they are not the only ones. This story has many groups for and against Jack and Cody. You will also get all the feels, laughter, sorrow, anger, and even a little romance. When Jake is not jumping from planes and swimming in the ocean. Sure wish I could give this book more than 5 ☆’s! Well done Mark Nolan, Well done!

5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading this collection of stories. They have steamy romance, suspense, and two people falling for each other. The authors have wonderfully written stories that will make you believe in true love. The stories are written in such a way that both the storylines and the characters come alive on the pages. There are plenty of swoon-worthy moments as well as moments that will make you go “Aww.” I enjoyed reading about the additional characters in each story and their interactions with the main characters. This is a collection of stories that will in some cases make your heart beat faster and touch your heart in others. I love anthologies because I not only get to read stories from authors that I know, I also am introduced to new authors and their writing styles. This is a collection of stories that I would highly recommend reading. There were a couple of stories in this collection that I wanted to write about. They are:

TWO HEARTS’ TRUCE
By Tamara Ferguson

This is a story that I loved reading. It has romance and suspense. It is a story that made me believe in true love and soulmates. I loved the characters of Amanda and Jeff. What does the future hold for them? Read this story to find out. I grew to care about Amanda and Jeff with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed the additional characters who interacted with Amanda and Jeff. Jeff is a man that has plenty of patience and he shows his deep attraction to Amanda.

WHISKEY SOUR
By Jen Talty
This is a story that I loved reading. I loved the character of Boone Wilder. He has an attraction/chemistry to a woman that he wants not just as a friend but something more. What will happen when he must come clean about a lie he has told? This story has passion, romance, and two main characters that heat the pages. I loved that the woman Boone cares for is independent and strong. Boone is kind, caring, and a fighter for what is right.

John the Baptist: As His Soul Remembers by Stuart Ledwith – Review by Angela Hayes

3 Stars John the Baptist: As His Soul Remembers by Stuart Ledwith is another interesting historical chronicle- this time focusing on the real life biblical character John the Baptist. As with the other book of Mr. Ledwith’s that I have read, it is quite original and interesting- full of facts, religion/spirituality, history, and more. As with the other book, this had a bit of a documentary feel to it- and could make for an interesting television show. Thank you, Stuart Ledwith!

The Crocodile Makes No Sound (The Lord Hani Mysteries Book 2) by N.L. Holmes – Review by Angela Hayes

The Crocodile Makes No Sound (Lord Hani Mysteries #2)The Crocodile Makes No Sound by N.L. Holmes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Crocodile Makes No Sound is the second book in The Lord Hani Mysteries by N.L Holmes. This is another cosy, historical mystery set in ancient Egypt.
We met Hani, a diplomat, in the first book- and team up with him once more as this mystery plays out. With blackmail, politics, religion, and mystery all woven together, it makes for an interesting read. We are transported to the time of Akhenaten- which the author does a brilliant job of recreating and bringing to life.
As with the first book in the series, the author’s knowledge and passion for the period really shines through in the story and through her writing. This passion certainly added to the ‘richness’ of the story.
Looking forward to seeing what Hani gets up to in Book Three!

Thank you, N.L Holmes!

A DEAD MAN SPEAKS (A CLIVE JANUARY MYSTERY BOOK 1) by LISA JONES GENTRY – Review by Angela Hayes

A Dead Man Speaks
by Lisa Jones Johnson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Dead Man Speaks (A Clive January Mystery Book 1) by Lisa Jones Gentry is an original story- with plenty to keep you flipping the pages. A mystery with a paranormal edge- detailing crime, investigation, drama, and a clever twist that made me sit up and take notice.
Clive January is a Wall Street investment banker who makes the startling realization that he has been shot, dead! Having such a significant unresolved issue, Clive cannot find peace until he gets his closure. But being dead is kind of restricting- so this is where Detective Bob Greene comes into the picture. It’s through him, and their psychic connection, that the investigation unfolds. But there is much more to the characters, their situation/s, and story, than we first realise- which we discover along the way.
Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Jones-Gentry does next.

Thank you, Lisa Jones-Gentry!

Secure Again (Chase Security Series Book 2)Secure Again by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Secure Again is the second book in the Chase Security series by R.L Dunn. It is a second chance romance- with suspense, intrigue, mystery, danger, hidden agendas, chemistry, and high stakes.
Dr. Elizabeth Reed is a surgeon who has noticed a number of disturbing injuries stemming from the local prison. She is determined to find out what is going on.
Martin Bailey is the CEO of Chase Security International- is drawn into the mystery through his brother (a police officer) and the investigation he was conducting. But Martin and Elizabeth also have a past relationship- and soon old feelings are bubble to the surface, adding to the already charged situation. With a complicated web to untangle, there is no time to spare if they are to figure it all out before anyone else dies.
There was a lot going on and a lot of characters to keep track of, too. Making for an intense read.
Bring on Book #3!

Thank you, R.L Dunn!

Accepted (Rhodes Family Book 2) by Lisa Wood – Review by Angela Hayes

AcceptedAccepted by Lisa Wood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3 ½ Stars

Accepted is the second book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. It is a MMF story, with plenty of drama, angst and spice.
It is a very quick and easy read- but as I mentioned at the end of Book One, there was a pretty big spoiler for this book detailed in Book One- so I was a little miffed by that even before I began this book. I did settle into the story- but not enough to fully connect with the characters like I was hoping to.
The relationship between the three was intense- and there were several emotional discoveries/details as well. But the characters really frustrated me at times- I really just wanted to shake them.
With a few more siblings left in the Rhodes family, I wonder who will be the subject of Book Three?

Thank you, Lisa Wood!

True Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel Book 4) by India Kells – Review by Angela Hayes

True Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel #4)True Bastard by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

True Bastard is the exciting fourth book in the Dark Sparrows Series by India Kells. This is such a great series, and it’s a fantastic addition to the collection. It is definitely my favourite of the series, so far. It is a dramatic, gripping and suspenseful story- full of action, danger, angst, adventure, chemistry, twists, revenge, intrigue, and romance.
As with all of Ms. Kells’ books, I really couldn’t put it down- I was glued to the pages- devouring it in a couple of hours. As expected, the story is superbly written, with a complex and multi-layered storyline that proved to be an exciting and incredibly engrossing read.
This is the story of Liam Harker and Sister Catriona Walsh. The sinner and the nun. Yes, a nun!!! And their story was every bit as interesting as you may imagine! I loved that this book also helps to build a bigger picture of the brothers and their on-going father issues. This book could be read as a standalone, but as I just mentioned, there is much to learn by reading the previous three books first.
I can’t wait to read Sam and Ellie’s story next!!!

Thank You, Ms. Kells!

It Comes From Within (House Valdis #2)It Comes From Within by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It Comes From Within by Naomi Valkyrie a five-star read that will encapsulate you. This is number two in the House Valdis series and it’s a very complex story with lots of characters, but you will be so consumed by the writing that you will be able to keep up easily. I would definitely advise you to read number one first as this picks a little while after and continues with the story, and its difficult to put what happens into a review as there is so much I don’t want to reveal. Xen was just someone who will surprise you at every turn, but they aren’t the only character that surprised me in this one. Do yourself a favour and pick up the series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Deadly Weapon by Mark Nolan a thrilling five-star read. This is number five in the Jake Wolfe series and they could be read as stand-alone but do read better as a series, Jake and Cody are off for some relaxing time in this one, or so they desire. Sadly, for Jake fishing doesn’t go to plan, as life never seems to, does it. This is a compelling action filled read where the action really does leap off the page, the detail this author goes into is phenomenal the reality is scary especially at the moment. I have enjoyed all of these stories but this one just pulled put all of the stops for me. There really is a little of everything in this story, and you will be sorry to miss it. The anticipation in this story will have you on the edge all the way through, its terse and gripping and just a great story overall.

It Comes From Within is the second book in the House Valdis series by Naomi Valkyrie. This series should be read in order to fully understand the plotline. This book takes place six months after the Rise Of the House Valdis. The story is multi layered with amazing characters. I would consider it to be Fantasy/Sci-Fi which is not a normal genre that I read, but Ms. Valkyrie really has my attention with this series. All of the characters in this book have a voice and I love how we learn more about them and thing that have shaped their lives. There is so much more but I will leave it for you to read and enjoy. This complex yet compelling story is a game changer and I was so engrossed and invested in it. I had to get to the end to see how it all ended up. You need to read the other two books to get the back story of the characters. Honestly, I am ready to read it again it was so good.

She wants to expose the incredible beauty in this world, hidden beneath the everyday grime of familiarity and habit, and share it with others. She uses characters out of time and places infused with magic and myth, writing magical realism stories in both historical fantasy and time travel flavors.

Combine this love of beauty with a bit of financial sense and you get an art business. She does local art and craft shows, as well as sending her art to various science fiction conventions throughout the country and abroad.

Drifting, Falling: Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman – Review by Dawn Daughenbaugh

Drifting, Falling -- Diary of a Call Girl SuicideDrifting, Falling — Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star
Drifting, Falling: Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman is a wonderfully written story that I absolutely put it down. I think at one point I was holding my breath while on the edge of my seat . Other times I had tears in my eyes. It was kinda hard to read at times but I had to know what was going to happen next. This author has completely blown me away and im kinda speechless. I went in with something completely the opposite of what actually happened. This is about a young woman who has a very dark and troubled past. Get ready to be taken on quite the emotional journey. With some heart breaking and heartwarming moments. I recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I’ll See You Again: A Scottish rock star, standalone opposites-attract romance (Reigning Hearts Book 4) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Angela Hayes

I'll See You Again (Reigning Hearts, #4)I’ll See You Again by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. This I such a sweet, touching, captivating, and romantic story- but still manages to pack quite an emotional punch. After reading Book Three, A Sun So Bright- and loving it soooo much, I really didn’t think I could love any other instalment as much as that one, but this book certainly gave ASSB a real run for its money!
This is a steamy Rockstar romance, with an opposites attract element- making for a fun read. But then Ms. Fletcher twists the story and delivers quite an emotional wallop that left me wondering how things would ever get back on track. I love how Ms. Fletcher always manages to weave some unexpected detail into her stories which never fail to surprise me, and keep me clamouring for more.
I loved meeting Reid (Mac), he’s such a great character. And after meeting Nicky in A Sun So Bright, I was really happy that she got her own story. These two really were perfect for each other. Catching up with Chris and Fiona from the previous book was a wonderful bonus, too.
I hope this isn’t the end of the series, as there are still a few characters I would love to see get their own book.
Looking forward to more!

Thank you, Ms. Fletcher!

HIGH FLYER (Verdant String) by Michelle Diener – Review by Jenni Bishop

High Flyer (Verdant String, #4)High Flyer by Michelle Diener
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

High Flyer (Verdant String) by Michelle Diener is an action packed and fast paced futuristic Sci Fi adventure story that is also a romance. It is an interesting and intriguing plot and Michelle is good at character and world building. There are a lot of players but Michelle has done a great job with weaving them all together. I am not a huge Sci Fi fan but Michelle has given us something that is full of danger and intrigue and brilliantly thrilling that you hang on to her every word.

Distant Heart Sounds (Nurse Morgan Series Book 1) by Kate MacInnis – Review by Jenni Bishop

Distant Heart SoundsDistant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Distant Heart Sounds: A Nurse Morgan Series: Book 1 by Kate MacInnis is her debut and is an original paranormal romance that is a fun read. It had me laughing out loud which is always a good indicator that it is a good read. Not only that there is spooky moments that had me checking around the room. Kate has done a good job of incorporating all the facets of drama and humour, ghosts and mystery and so much more. This is a short read but it is truly a little gem.
A near-death experience opens up a whole new and strange world.

Diamonds & Deception (Karina Cardinal Mystery Book 3) by Ellen Butler – Review by Connie Cranston

Diamonds & Deception (Karina Cardinal Mystery, #3)Diamonds & Deception by Ellen Butler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Diamonds & Deception is the third installment in the Karina Cardinal Mystery series by Ellen Butler. The entire series is full of mystery, suspense, and romance. I have yet to be disappointed by this author. Karina always finds herself wrapped up in trouble, but each storyline is unique and pulls the reader in. Although each book can be read as stand alones, I highly recommend reading them in order. You’ll love this author!
