Was a great 5 star read. This was a great historical romance, I was pulled right in by the authors writing.

Lady Bridget has an arranged marriage and is on her way to go through with the wedding, when her ship is overtaken by pirates. When she meets Valan there are instant sparks. Will the hot pirate interfere with her plans?

Valan is a new captain of the MacNeil clan, so getting a big treasure would be great. What he didn’t expect to find was a woman that he finds himself very attracted to.

We get so much in this great read, action, danger, romance, and so much more. I really liked both characters very much. They were perfect for each other. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing, you feel like you are right there with the characters. This can be read as a standalone.
