5 Star Tidal Love by KM Lowe is a book I absolutely loved reading. Once I started I couldn’t stop till I finished. I must say I freaking love the cover ! I found myself lost in the pages and I could easily relate with what they both have been through . Giovanni and Harleigh both have pasts . Harleigh is trying to heal after getting out of an abusive relationship , her family convinced her she needed a holiday. Giovanni is trying to heal from his ex hurting him. These two have some serious chemistry between them. I loved the character of Lucca as well. Both Giovanni and Harleigh have trust issues, can they overcome their fears and mistrust? There were moments I caught myself tearing up and others I was laughing. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author .

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading. This is not my typical type of book but nonetheless I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I found this book to be entertaining and interesting. This is a well developed story that is engaging and easy to read. There are parts I got a little lost but was able to pick it back up after a few pages. This is a story about a human and their personal struggles with their soul. This is a story of prophecy, history and the power of the universe. It was a great book which I highly recommend.

This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. I enjoyed this book as it is full of fantasy and time travel. This is a well written story that has details that make the story come to life. I had no issues connecting with the characters as they kept me turning pages to the end. This is an engaging, fast paced story that pulled me in right from the first chapter. Keltson uses his looking glass to rescue people who he feels needs happier endings. When he sees Margaretha bite into a poisonous apple he decides to play with fate and give her a choice. This is where the story takes on a fantasy much like a childhood tale. Will Keltson lose all the work he has done to change people’s fate? What will happen with history and fate? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens to Margaretha, Keltson and his assistant. They made great, believable characters that took me through various emotions about them. They made the story engaging and easy to read. This was a great afternoon story that I am glad I picked up.

She’s No Cowgirl is the 5th book in the series but can definitely be read as a standalone. This is the story of Hunter and Kennedy. Hunter is a sophomore football player. Kennedy used to have a dream of playing football, but she learned early on that her options were limited because she was a girl. Instead, she has shifted her focus to being an amazing sports journalist. The only problem…she has to hide her identity because women are not taken seriously in this business. An accidental run-in (literally) between Hunter and Kennedy has changed the course for both of them. Instead of focusing on school, football, and journalism, they are finding that they are focusing on each other. As they begin their relationship, Hunter can tell Kennedy is hiding something…he just can’t quite figure it out. Kennedy knows that her job could jeopardize everything they are building. What happens when it all comes out…can they move past it? Or will KD be the downfall of Hunter’s career? I enjoyed both Hunter and Kennedy’s characters. They are both driven college students that don’t spend their free time partying and, instead, are trying to shape their futures. Their connection was instant and I could feel it through the pages. I enjoyed the story and am now going to go back and read the rest in the series.

This is a great story that grips you from the beginning and doesn’t let go. The author does a great job of building the characters and making you feel like you re part of their world. I have read several books by this author and I have enjoyed them all.
Mudesa is a successful psychiatrist. She is a logical thinker who know that magic and superstitions aren’t real. But is she right? After her parents pass away she has to return to the home she has left behind. Is returning home a good idea? What secrets were her parents hiding from her? Was all the stories her parents told her about magic and demons true or were her parents mad?
So once I got used to the writing in this book it got a lot easier to follow that being said the author stays very true (I believe) to the time period that she is writing in. The book is action-packed and fast-paced and I loved the description in the book and how it didn’t slow the action down either. I really liked the scene with Brek and his mum that was really cute.
I really loved Finn! I kind of loved him more than Brek but he was a great character and I really loved his relationship with Hazel, weirdly more than I did with Brek and Gabriella. Regardless though still loved them but Finn and Hazel have my heart.
Honestly, some of this book is so tense and it did get me on the edge of my seat. This was a different kinda book for me and I’m glad I took the chance to read it. Also that ending… I don’t want to say anymore because spoilers. Let’s just say I was slapped in the face…
This was an inspiring and empowering read, and it really is a unfiltered and intimate memoir by author Lynda Filler. Honestly written, you can feel Lynda’s personal connection to the story and her emotions really come through in her narrative, making this a totally immersive and engaging read. A heartwarming and positive memoir of a very brave and adventurous lady, who literally sold everything and bought a one way ticket around the world. Knowing there was no turning back she looked forward and took on the world. I love the title of this memoir, ‘Café Confidential’, that alone had me hooked and then as Lynda shared her adventures and her secrets with us, the reader, I was gripped. I felt as though I was there with her, seeing, smelling, touching, tasting, and feeling what she did as she traveled to France, India, Israel, Malaysia, and Turkey. Lynda’s aim was to, “Perhaps I can convince you that it’s never too late to follow your dreams”, and she has definitely done that for me. The added coloured photos dotted throughout the book really added to the whole experience for me as I could picture where she was and along with her wonderfully detailed narrative the book just flowed. This memoir strayed with me long after I had finished reading it and I have gone back and read particular parts again.

Harleigh is absolutely amazing. She has come out on the other side of a very rough patch of her life on top. She goes on a long vacation and doesn’t expect her life to change once again, but this time for better.
Giovani has had his share of problems in his life, but when he sees Harleigh for the first time he forgets about everything.
Harleigh showed incredible strength and the ability to move forward with her life and I so admire her for that. She has an amazing family and they obviously love her.
I loved Luca and I hope we see him in the future. He brought a fun twist to a book with a pretty serious back story.

Although I did love this book and the characters I had a small problem with never really connecting with them, I wish the book had been longer and more time spent on the building of the relationship so that I could have felt the bond between the two. It just happened a bit too fast for me and touched on being predictable.
Now in saying all of that, I loved the writing in this story and Sydney surprised me, I loved her strength and resolve by standing by what she expected from Quin and a relationship. That was definitely different than a lot of other female leads and although I love them all, Sydney might just be up in my favorites.
I Love this author’s books, and even though this might not be my favorite I still completely enjoyed it and would definitely recommend reading it. I was invested in both of these characters, and everything they dealt with felt real, I just wish there had been more.

I loved reading the book Thunder on the Moor by Andrea Matthews. It is a time travel romance that had me hooked from the very beginning. It is a story that includes conflict, romance, family, and danger. I loved the character of Maggie Armstrong. She is an intelligent, independent, feisty, and strong young woman. She follows her father back over four hundred years in the past. What does the future hold for Maggie? Read this book to find out. This story is one that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. Maggie’s journey and experiences are interesting and intriguing to read about. I grew to care about Maggie with each chapter that I read. There are also additional characters that are introduced the I enjoyed reading about. The book has such wonderful detail and descriptions of the places that Maggie is in that I felt like I was right there with her. The author does an amazing job of making the story and the characters come alive. I love books that take me to the past and this story is a good example of the reason why. Don’t miss out on a book that is exciting and entertaining. I highly recommend reading it.

It also tells about new information on those who were involved in the formation of the universe and their thoughts. This book was very good. It was the first book that i have read by this author and it won’t be my last. It was a well written story that kept my attention and had me swooning at every turn. Harleigh and Giovani are the main charcters and they were awesome. They had so much holding them back but they fought to the end and were able to to heal and learn together. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend.

Super Sorry by C.A. King is a YA supernatural/paranormal story. It is a fun fantasy with a strong and sassy superhero. Our heroine finds that not everything is as it seems and decides to right the wrongs. But she is also going through the normal teenage angst of trying to fit in and finding your place in the world. Let’s not forget the trusty sidekick that is by her side. CA has done a great job of the world and character building and giving us a story that YA’s will enjoy.
This book is the fourth in the series, so it did seem like I started something from the middle. I should go back and read the first three books to understand Kara O’Keefe and her life better. The book itself is written beautifully and you can empathize with Kara, and you would want to know more about her. And the only way to know more is go backwards s in this series and read the first three books. The story of a young woman, who tries her best to be a part of the clan, honor the vow, facing an ancient enemy, Kara comes across as a dynamic, inspiring, endearing character. I liked this book and her heroine. Would come back more wiser reading the first three books.

The Queen’s Dog (Empire at Twilight Book 3) by N.L. Holmes is an historical crime story and one that grabs your attention. NL’s writing shows she is passionate about history and is able to weave it together and give us an exciting read. This story had the pages turning and NL does a great job of setting the scene with being her descriptive and vivid writing. One mans belief in loving the right woman is sorely misplaced and leads to regret.

Indiana Jones (Adam Hunter) is back. This time in Egypt. After the first book, the Eagle of the Empire, the team at the British museum enter a quest in an unknown pyramid in Egypt which is surrounded by an unknown force. There are other teams from other countries as well, which are in the pyramid plagued with ancient curses. There is love between Gods and rivalry, there are booby traps, evil spells and thrills to keep the readers on the edge of their seats. I love mythology and this genre coupled with mystery, suspense, thrill is always a pleasure to read. I loved reading the first book and the impression continues. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Stephanie Queen….. the name says it all, she’s the Queen of sports Romance with these 3 amazing stories. We are transported into the lives of the Boston Militia NFL team. Each book focuses on a specific player and his story to find love. I especially love how the stories intertwine with each other. Great character development with some new ideas with in the Sports Romance genre. Already saw there’s 3 more books so I’ll be checking those out.

Curse of the Sands is a book to get lost in. I found this story to be enthralling and adventurous. There was no part od the story that I did not enjoy. Even the characters I didn’t like where enjoyable because they were written so well. This author really knows how to capture your attention and deliver the unexpected. I almost felt like I was reading two different stories. One of the past and the other the present. I don’t think that’s an easy thing to accomplish but the author pulls it off well. Adam is my favorite character so far. He gives off cocky vibes but is really insecure about his worth. I really found the theme of the book intriguing. Ancient Egypt! Long lost history filled with mystery, curses, traps and legends. I couldn’t help but to fly through this book. Definitely worthy of a second read.

This story is a historical romance book. This is my first book by this author and I will be looking up more books by Natalie Barnes. This story is a mafia romance during the prohibition era. I was captivated from the first page until the last page. My emotions went on a wild roller coaster ride. The story is about Brek, a mafia member who met Gabriella, a beautiful young woman. Can Brek and Gabriella be together? What will Brek need to go through to be able to be with Gabriella? Will Gabriella go through everything to be with Brek? I highly recommend this story to fall in love with this mafia romance story.

Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae book 2) by Jessica Feyden, had a great story line. I loved the story. All kinds of magical creatures in this one with some unexpected powers. Strong characters and delightful world building. I did get a little bogged down with the family trees. There was quite a bit of repetitious dialogue which became somewhat distracting but all in all a good read. Reader be warned there are adult situations that are quite graphic, so this is not a book for the young.

Oh, what a delightful little story Shattered Reality (Summoned Book 1) by C.A. King, was. It reads like a mystery but not the kind you would expect. Great characters, great story line with the added bonus of the deeper introspections of facing your personal demons. It was a quick little read which suited me just fine cause sometimes that’s just what you want. This is what you want, read this one.
I really liked this romantic fae fantasy story. The story is a fast pace simple love story. The pilot line is engaging. The characters are fully developed and well-liked. This story is about Mira and Cadoc. Like all romances. Mira and Cadoc had some hurdles in their relationship. Mira is a fae princess and Cadoc is a wolf shifter. Cadoc did not see himself with a Fae but his wolf-side was drawn to Mira. Mira’s magic has been messed with and she knows if she is to regain it she will have to marry to take the throne. Will Cadoc be her mate? Can Mira overcome her troubles with her magic? I highly recommend this story to find out these answers and to see if Cadoc and Mira become an item.

Eternal Wanderings: The Continuing Journey of Kara O’Keefe by Danielle Ackley-Mcphail is the fourth book in the Eternal Cycle series. I do recommend reading the series in order. I picked up here on the fourth book and enjoyed it a lot by it felt like I was missing bits and pieces. I am now going back to pick up the pieces of the story. Kara O’Keefe is a wonderful, smart, and strong female character. Her tale caught my attention and did not let go. There are attention and details paid to the world-building and story development which allowed Kara to lead the story. I really enjoyed the creativity of the book and also the extra mini-stories included at the end. It was a great bonus. I look forward to reading more from this author soon and catching up to pick up the pieces.

I absolutely enjoyed every story. Once I started this series I could not stop. It only took me a few days to devour these books. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.
Sugar and Spice Cy Sweet is nothing like his family. When his dad tells him to go undercover to see who is orchestrating a strike against their theme park he does it. Cy is assigned to work in the cotton candy castle which is one of the most popular spots in the theme park. He learns quickly that Sweetopia is nothing but sweet. Cy is ready to blow his cover when he meets the beautiful queen of the land. He wants to get to know her but he knows he can’t let his family down. Will Cy find out who is behind it all and when he does what will he do?
Virtue and Vice Moon and Katja are on a trip when they meet Cy and Jolie. They feel a connection from the start. Moon and Katja are tired of their dead end jobs. When Cy and Jolie give them an offer they can’t refuse they end up leaving their old life behind them. Moon and Katja also want to start a family but will they be able to with their new life? Also will they be able to trust the new coupe they just met?
Fire and Ice Neve and Enya don’t get along at all. She calls him the iceman because he is so cold. After some scary things start to happen at Spicetopia they are pushed together to find out who is trying to sabotage the park. Enya starts to realize that Neve is not so cold after all. When they get to know each other that’s why the sparks fly. Will they be able to catch this crazy man or woman before someone close to them gets hurt?
Naughty and Nice Natalie Roux is the event planner to the adult theme park Spicetopia. Her first major job is the owner’s wedding. Natalie is determined to make this the best holiday wedding ever. She is staying on task and getting things done but when she meets the minister that is doing the ceremony she feels something she has never felt before. Natalie gets to know Micah and she quickly realizes that they have a lot of things in common. She knows she has a job to do but there’s nothing wrong with getting a little naughty. Will Natalie make this wedding everything she wants it to be or will it all fall apart? Review by @heatherbass

Spicetopia Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Phoebe Alexander was a steamy wonderful read! I loved every book more than the last. These steamy books have depth and development throughout. I love that there is a plot and I can sink into a different world when I read. Having all the books in one bundle is great, just one long binge session.
