High Heels and Mistletoe is a sweet book. The story is about a family who are cursed. Julietta doesn’t like the holidays. Not because she isn’t festive but because of mistletoe. I laughed at that part like mistletoe making her clumsy. It took me a minute to like her character. She was always grumpy to me. Like yes you have to make adjustments but it was not serious. Luke’s character was just as bad. I couldn’t take him seriously. Everything seemed like it was whimsical with him. I did like that he didn’t take himself too serious because he is rich. He was very thoughtful and considerate. I liked that the author talked about starting traditions. Like you can start something new it doesn’t has to be something that you’ve been doing for years. I really liked the authors writing style and how smooth the read was.
