City Without A Sun (Vampire State Book 2) by Alexander Charalambides is a contemporary paranormal romance vampire story. The battle between vampires and humans is still raging and the politics has changed. The story is a fast paced with lots going on. Life is getting more complicated and dangerous for our heroine. As with the first book Charalambides is good with world building, and character development who are complex but relatable. I am enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next book.

This author continues to show how much of an incredible writer she is! Having read this authors books before you think you know what to expect but each time she takes you along on an unexpected journey of twists and turns, action, adventure, drama, danger. She gives us paranormal and fantasy to the highest level and I absolutely love being captivated and drawn into her reads each and every time. This is a fast-paced, action-packed read that has you connecting to the main characters easily and love following their journey. Delilah has got to be the best lead female I have read in a while, I love how she is as a person, I love her attitude and her personality and I wanted more! I loved this read, it captivated me from the very beginning and didn’t want it to end! I highly recommend this read and I can’t wait to read more from this author and what else she will bring to this series!

I cannot express enough how much I enjoy Manda Mellett stories. Every MC book I have read from her has left me excited for more. This story is no different. There’s just something refreshing about an older man. Like they’ve already been done the road and don’t have time for games. Grumbler is the type of guy I could see myself with if I was in that age group. Shoot if he came to me while I was 31 I would probably give it a go lol. I really liked how he stood up for Alicia. He care when he had no reason to. Put himself and the club out there to protect her. I really liked Mary. Even though she had her judgment about the club girls it didn’t stop her from listening to them and showing them respect. Overall the whole story was really good. The author wrote another good book where we see a man set in his ways but changes for the right woman. I couldn’t believe how fast I read the story that I went in for seconds. I love how Grumbler’s bike is described. I could really see myself riding the back of it. I say take a leap and enjoy a story about a sexy older man.

The Devil’s Day (Lucky Devil #3) by Megan Mackie was a good 4 star read.
The series continues and I was excited to see what was coming next. It took me a bit to get pulled in but once I was I couldn’t put it down. Rune is preparing for a magical duel. We also get some sparks between Rune and Benedict. Both of these characters are great, We get action, adventure and so much more.
I would highly suggest that you read the first two books in the series, otherwise you may be lost. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right into their world. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

This is my third read from this series and it takes a personal turn for Hani this go round. I love historical books especially because N.L. Holmes writes about it so easily. This as well as the others keep your heart pounding and racing through the suspense. Very enjoyable read!

The Mummy of Monte Cristo by J. Trevor Robinson 4 Stars!!!!
One thing I like is discovering new authors. This is the first book from this author that I have read and I was quite impressed. I found the author had a refreshing style and also unique story. I felt as though I was right in the thick of the adventure. I really like how it had a lot of supernatural and characters. I found it to be quite a nice change from my normal genre.
I like how the main character Edmond is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice to sort the situation. I really like how the book flows. I just could not put it down. I really like how the plot twists and turns and how all is righted in the end. I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

Grumbler’s Ride is the second book in the San Diego Chapter of Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series. It focuses on Grumbler, an older member of the MC, who gets roped into doing a photoshoot (or, rather, letting his bike be used in a photoshoot) and ends up tangled up in problems much bigger than the gentle teasing he anticipated. This is a fantastic series. Each book, including this one, can be read as a standalone. In this book, we have Mary and Alicia who are new to the Satan’s Devils’ way of life and so we get to discover things anew through their eyes – perfect for readers who are new to the series as well as established fans. I’ve lost count of how many of the Satan’s Devils MC books I’ve read (no wait, I can check – it’s 8 not including this one!). By now, many of the characters and settings, across the different chapters, feel very familiar. It’s like catching up with some old friends who have very exciting lives! I love that the series is expanding across America, giving me a chance to explore new places from the comfort of my sofa. Like many of the books, this one addresses some difficult and sensitive issues. This is done openly and respectfully. The familiar, protective characters from the MC make it a good setting to address such issues without making the story too dark. For me, this is a five-star read. This is a great series! I feel like I should recommend it to fans of romance and motorcycles but I don’t have a particular interest in either myself and have still found myself hooked so maybe just give it a go!

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Books 1-3+ Novella by India Kells is a brilliant collection of books in the Sanctuary Chronicles series. It is a series of amazing fantasy stories that you will absolutely not want to put down. This is one of those series that will grab your attention and hold on tight, making you turn the pages faster and faster to find out what is going on. Each of these books is exciting and fast paced with some of the best characters I have read about in ages. The author has created a world that will leave you wanting more because of how good it is. Each of the stories has a little bit of everything you could want from a book of this genre and the fact that they are so well written is the added bonus! I cannot recommend this series enough, it is one you need to buy today!

Scepter of Flint is the third book in The Lord Hani Mysteries Series by N.L Holmes. I have truly enjoyed reading this series and this one is my favorite yet. I was pulled in from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next till the end. Hani is back and is trying to figure out who is behind the tomb robberies while witnesses are turning up dead. Can he figure out who is really behind it? AAA+++++++ I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed this retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo. J. Trevor Robinson definitely did his research with French history and the way he seamlessly wove the supernatural aspects into this classic storyline was masterful. The story was close enough to the original that I could tell where the storyline came from but Robinson didn’t steel the story he expertly put his own supernatural twist into it. AMAZING world building and the characters took the story to new heights. Thank you for doing the beloved classic justice.

I am the queen of reading books out of order. This is the second book in the series and I have to admit that I was missing a bit of context but that did not really interfere with my enjoyment of this book. The author has quite a refreshing idea and I like their take on vampires and humans. I found that there was just enough drama that I was glued to this book.
I really could get into Rowena’s character. I like how she is the underdog really and has an uphill battle to try and make things better for humans in a vampire led society. I like that she has a very reliable friend base. I like how the author brings the characters to life like they jump off of the pages. I look forward to reading more from this author and series.

I give War of the Damned (Relic Hunters) by Martin Ferguson, 5 stars.
I forget just how good and engrossing these books are until I start reading another. This book follows along the same theme of hunting ancient relics but this time it is revolved around World War II. The story of the soldier in the thick of things in the past, plus the present day story of the hunters essentially trying to stop evil and bad people are what really makes this book. You have have two different stories, blended together wonderfully that could easily each stand up as separate books. The time and thought the author put into this really stands out in this exceptional book. Not to mention the research this author has evidently done to make it feel so real. I will admit, I have learned so much more about elements of this war than I ever did in history class.
The story of the past is new with all new people, but the current day story has the hunters you have come to love if you have been following the series. There are also new people we meet along their journey, both with and against the hunters. Oh, and what about those ones that got away in previous books? Well, you just have to read to find out.
While this is a great continuation of the series, it can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend it to those who like adventure with a dash of history mixed in, and some possible supernatural elements thrown in.

Relic Hunters: War of the Damned once again takes the reader on an adventure of epic proportions via everyone’s favorite relic hunting team. While their spirits have been dampened by the aftermath of the last expedition, our heroes fight on for the sake of justice and protection of the world’s lost treasures.
I enjoyed many things about this book, but there were two things that I enjoyed the most. The first is that each member of the diverse team of hunters is held in equally high regard. The way they support each other and work together has been a favorite element of mine throughout the series. The second is the way that the story switches back and forth between Adam’s team in the present and the British WW2 soldier in the past. How are they connected? You’ll have to read to find out.

India Kells does it again. This box set has paranormal characters all over. There are three books and a novella that will fulfill your paranormal thirst. There are vampires, werewolves, and witches. India Kells has an imagination and storytelling ability that paints a picture so vivid that you feel like you are right in the middle of the book. Her characters are fully developed and complicated. They flow right off the pages and into your mind. If you are looking for a good box set to sit down to help take away the blues of 2020 look no further. Once you start this set you will not put it down. I highly recommend this author and all of her books to take your mind away on an awesome adventure.

This collection is top notch! The author writes with a vividness that makes this hard to put down! It is filled with action, suspense and characters you can stand behind. The characters are lively and full of zest. I never really know what they would do next. Each story is a stand alone but builds the previous one. My favorite of the collection is Book 2 Blind Magic but they are all great.

Moonlight and Belladonna is part of Jae Dawson’s Hartwood Falls Romance series. I haven’t read these before, but it was really good so I look forward to reading the others. There are little things she does in her writing that just makes the characters more realistic. For example, Bella’s preferred wardrobe being pinup Rockabilly style, tells us a lot about her personality. Always having Cade in band t-shirts. Calling his grandparents Gram and Gramps, instead of just Grandma and Grandpa. Its just the little things that make the characters more loveable. I love the relationship Cade has with his band mates and grandparents. I also loved that the building feelings between Bella and Cade were slow building through the whole story. The sarcastic comments they make to each other, building a friendship before a relationship. All these things, and more, is what drew me into the story. I didn’t want to put it down. Great writing style, love it!

I have read a couple of books from this author and he continues to blow my mind. This is the third book of the Relic Hunters series. You do have to read them in order or you will get lost. I was excited to get this book so I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. This book would make an excellent movie or tv series. I was hooked from the first page and didn’t stop until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this addictive book.
The Relic Hunters are so excited when they are told that a U boat was found from the past. When the hunters get there they are shocked at how nice the boat is still intact. The hunters are shocked when they find out that they found some things that were stolen from Hitler a long time ago. They were thinking that this was going to be an easy job until Adam’s past came back to haunt them. Now they have to use their skills to once again get out of trouble. No Rest For The Wicked by Naomi Valkyrie is the first book in the Life is Hell series. This book is an absolutely explosive start to what is clearly going to be an amazing new series. I knew to expect a great book having read the previous work by this author but this book genuinely blew my expectations out of the water! This is the kind of book that you just have to read in one sitting simply because you cannot put it down. The read this book in record time because it was such an exciting and enjoyable read. I really enjoyed how diverse the main characters were and how much it seemed to open up the story. This author has quickly become one of my favourite authors and I wouldn’t hesitate to read one of her books. I don’t even bother to read the descriptions anymore as I know that no matter what the book is about I am going to get a well developed story that I cannot help but love. I am so excited to see what is next for this series and would highly recommend reading this book.

The Sanctuary Chronicles has to be my most favorite series from India Kells ever so when I saw it was being offered in this gorgeous boxed set I had to have it. These books are all worthy of five stars and it is a collection of ones I intend to read and reread for many many years to come. I also love that this is available in time for the holidays because some of my reader fan fam will be getting a set of these! I did include two of my reviews for my top two fav in the series below. These are books you do not want to miss out on!
BLIND MAGIC – Book #2: Blind Magic is the second book in The Sanctuary Chronicles from India Kells. I have not had the pleasure of reading the first book, Broken Magic, although now I will be running to do so. It didn’t really affect my ability to enjoy this one though. Kells was a doll and gave us a pretty detailed prologue to catch us up for this one thankfully. This was just that amazing that I have to get my hands on the first as well. I normally don’t pick up books that fall into this ‘category’ but let’s be honest, look at that cover! Yummy, and eye catching. I had to know what was behind it. I am so glad I dived in blind.
In Blind Magic we get quite the story. I must say there was not a single moment that I was bored, and actually several hours that I was the do not approach the reading mom/wife or you may die type. Can you really describe a dark and twisty suspenseful book as beautiful and magical? I think this book qualifies for that, and really can’t come up with a better way to sum it up.
Sera Dover is one heck of a woman. Strong, independent and resourceful, oh and she is one heck of a witch. She will stop at nothing to protect those that she loves and cares about. She will face whatever danger comes her way too. Then there is Ian Macon, the damaged and gorgeous werewolf. He is instantly drawn to Sera. Her light and peace is something his shattered soul seeks out. These two have a connection that will set your kindle screens on fire, and give you a need for a tall glass of water, maybe even a fan or two, if you get my drift.
Of course, there is always danger lurking around the corner in all the great suspenseful novels. What is to come for them now and in the future? For that you must dive into this amazing five-star read for yourself, for I cannot bear to give away any more than I already have! Happy reading!
DEAD MAGIC- Book #3: I was so stoked to get my hands on this book, Dead Magic, the third in The Sanctuary Chronicles from India Kells. This has to be one of my favorite series of hers and they are jammed full with action, adventure, magic, mystery, lore, and steamy fun to balance it all out. I could not wait to get the story of Violet and Finn with this one and they did not disappoint. Another side note about this series is the covers, like they literally grab you without even saying a word. I wouldn’t even need a title on these to know they have to be full of some amazing story lines. This one may be my fav because of the purple undertones but it is drool worthy and definitely worth mentioning. I would highly recommend also that you read the first two books before this one. While it can be read as a stand alone novel I feel that these are better read in order so you get that slow and inevitable build up of excitement with each new one you read. This one has my favorite pairing, a sexy vampire, and a fierce witch. These two don’t want what fate is throwing their way. Will they be able to find the common ground and manage a relationship? That is about all I felt safe sharing the rest is only good when read by your own eyes. I can’t wait to see what will come next!

I enjoyed this romance story. It is a well written story that has characters that are easily connectable and made the story realistic. I was pulled into this story right from the first page. It is a fast paced, engaging, entertaining story that was hard to put down. This is a story about family mystery that maybe better left in the past. Lula is a teacher that has always wanted to find her father. As her grandmother falls ill, will she lose the last chance she has at family and finding the one thing she wants? Dominic is also a teacher at the same high school who can have anyone he wants. Will once chance meeting change things for both of them? As Lula’s family mysteries are revealed will they hurt her chances with Dominic? What will fate have in store for these two? They made such great characters. They made the story easy to read and I enjoyed the chemistry between them. I highly recommend reading this book and find out what happens between them.

This a book of five complete Christmas romance stories. Each story brings spirit and is written with a lot of heart and soul. They each inspire hope, faith and love that will stick with you. Each story takes a magical Christmas Kiss to a new level. They have characters that bring the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. I had no problems connecting with them as they brought each story to life. These stories and characters warmed my heart and I found myself hoping that each couple would find their Christmas HEAs. My favorite was Christmas Kiss, A New Year’s Wish. This is a story of friendship turns relationship. Taylor has a crush on her best friend Luca. Will one kiss change everything for them? Can you keep something that just maybe wasn’t yours to start with? I highly recommend this book. It certainly made my afternoon warmer.
Wow where to start with this story. It is full of romance, but also heartache and sadness. I loved this book. The characters are so well written that you can’t help but feel every emotion they are going through.
Lula has had a rough life. With her mum passing the only person left in her life is her nanna. With caring for her nanna and her job as a school teacher she doesn’t have time for romance and especially not with a guy like Dom Adams.
Dom Adams is also a teacher at the school where Lula works. He is the most handsome man ever and has woman falling all over him. However, he also has a reputation for breaking hearts and not wanting more that a weekend thing. When Dom sees the woman behind the teacher he is amazed and drawn to her. He wants her and will stop at nothing to get her.
Will Lula give in to his charming ways? Will she end up getting her heartbroken by being another one of Dom’s weekend girls? Or will the connection they have be enough for him to change and commit?

Moonlight and Belladonna: A Small Town Halloween Romance (Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawson. I loved this book. Its fun, dramatic and sexy. Its the story of Belladonna Pagano a art teacher who is Italian and very outspoken. She is having to put on a Halloween play that will wow the school board or she will be gone. Cade Owens is a rock star and lead singer for the band Burning Umbrage. He is sexy, talented and has a lot of baggage but that helps in the way of songwriting but not so much in relationships. When Cade has a run in with the law he has to preform community service and this is where he meets Bella. There are immediate sparks but Bella is in no way wanting a relationship and she’s not about one night stands. Bella wants to concentrate on her students and her mom but the pull towards Cade is strong. Will Bella and Cade let down their walls and chance romance? Read Moonlight and Belladonna to find out!

I loved reading the book Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola. It is a story that had me hooked from the very beginning. It is a romance book that is steamy, romantic, and will have you not wanting to put it down until the final page. He is handsome, charming, and her mother’s boss. She is strong, intelligent, independent, and feisty. There is an attraction between them that can’t be denied. What does their future hold? This story has amazing characters that the author makes come alive. There are moments that I was laughing and others that had the temperature in the room rising. I loved reading the bantering that goes back and forth between the two main characters. I grew to care about the two main characters with each chapter that I read. There are also other characters introduced that are wonderful to read about as well. Don’t miss out on a book that is exciting and entertaining to read. I highly recommend reading it.

She does it again! Another amazing adventure of justice and love. Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) is written by India Kells. This a spin-off novel from her other books. There is a group of Vigilantes on the move on the streets of Chicago. A new drug is said to hit the streets and this one is deadly. Orla is a reporter and is determined to shut this drug down before anyone gets killed. One of the Vigilantes is out there to help. Is he out there to help Orla or the city? Not so easy to tell once these two finally meet. This is a very exciting book and you can’t help but continue to read it. It has everything that you could possibly think of…drugs, crime lords and sex. The sexy scenes are intense and oh so very hot! The characters are amazing! I truly can’t say enough good things about this book and this author. I can’t wait to read the next book and to see where the adventure takes us! If you love a good suspense series, this is a really good place to start!

War Of The Damned by Martin Ferguson is the third book in the Relic Hunters series and was an incredible read! I swear, each book in this series just gets better and better, and more interesting! One of my favorite parts about this book and the series in general (minus the laughs, jokes and sass between the team) is the historical content. That added edge and perspective makes this series a super unique historical fiction read to me. I also love reading stuff about World War II, so this novel was already going to be interesting to me regardless. I can’t wait to read the fourth book in the series!
