I didn’t feel very festive this year but reading this book did help me get into more of the spirit! I did enjoy reading this novel I was hooked right from the start a rooting for a happy ending right from the start! It’s one of those novels you can pick up and just get lost and forget about all the rubbish going on and enjoy a cheeky romance! I love this author also I have read many books from her and I’m absolutely eager to read more!

This is Faida’s story, she is a cupid and is responsible for helping people to find their true love, but she is disillusioned with the whole thing after a few disasters and infidelities and has developed an closed off heart as the product of this and when we join her, she is at a celebration for her sister Aiko’s latest return to success, but she is happy to get her next assignment and leave the celebrations. When she goes to introduce herself to her next assignment, she arrives at an intimidating high rise building and as she makes her way inside, she is rushed upstairs in a cloud of confusion as she is mistaken for someone else who should be there and when it is for a party, she is eleven more confused. When she sees that it is a princess themed tea party, she is even more confused, kids parties aren’t normally this calm, but when she demands an explanation, the lady who dragged her up there is embarrassed at her mistake and apologises profusely, but when Robert emerges to find out what is going on, but when she sees that he only has one heartstring, it is a shock, she knew he had cut him off from the world, but she didn’t realise by quite how much.
When he goes back into the little girl’s party his icy demeanor is in place while talking to the girls, that is until he goes to another little girl and he warms up and transforms completely and Faida is taken aback when she sees it, as if this assignment wasn’t strange enough, that just puts the icing on the cake. She then confronts Robert and tells him why she is there and that he will not be able to get rid of her easily, at first he doesn’t believe that she is cupid, but when his daughter comes in and asks if Faida is going to be her new nanny, she says yes and confirmed that it will be the perfect cover for her mission to find his true love, what she doesn’t realise is that she will have a little helper with her own idea of who she wants her dad to fall for and when she goes with Robert to his place of work, she thinks that she has found the answer she is looking for.
This is the start of the most frustrating and yet joyful assignment Faida has had, but can she help Robert to lower the walls around his heart, or will they be stuck with each other for a long time? The only way to find out is to read along and find out.

Moonlit Whisper: An Irish Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) is a short novel by Amy McKinley. The story follows the reunion of Fiona, a 4th year student at Trinity College in Dublin and her childhood best friend Connor, who has been living abroad for the last few years. Although they have both missed each other terribly, things have changed now they are no longer children. Fiona is engaged to the other member of their childhood trio and he is not happy about Connors return. This was an enjoyable short novel, I would have liked it to be longer to get to know the characters more but it did move at a good pace and the descriptions of Dublin were really good, having visited several times it felt as though I knew exactly where the author was describing. Would recommend to other lovers of the romance genre who are looking for a quick read.

Evil’s Whisper by Jordan Elizabeth is the first book in the Evil Saga series. This book is a dark fantasy about a young woman trying to escape the confines of her life. The whole story itself is interesting and well written. I found myself wanting to know what was going to happen next and to find out more about the characters. I thought the dynamic between the two characters was intriguing – they had such opposing agendas that watching them try to navigate it was great. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thought it was well written and exciting to read. It felt like the story was building up to more which would keep my interest and I am looking forward to seeing what is next in the series.

Moonlit Whisper: An Irish Romance by Amy McKinley is a novel in the Moonlit Destination series. This is a short, contemporary sports romance by an incredible author. Although part of a series the book can be read as a stand-alone. I loved this second chance romance. The characters had everything against them and yet I was behind them the whole way. Although it is a novella the book doesn’t feel like it is missing anything at all. It is a well written and interesting story. It has a natural flow to it that makes it a nice and easy read. I would certainly recommend this story, and series, to anyone who is a fan of the genre.
This is the story of Fiona and Connor, Fiona is A girl who loves football and is dating her best friend and player on the football squad Lachlan, he asks her to go for a coffee, but she can’t because she has to meet her dad and find out about the new transfer student she will be helping with their assignments. Next, Fiona is in the library with the transfer student and it is none other than the boy next door who left six years ago, she is still annoyed by that and is trying to understand why he did it, but she is also trying not to notice how much more handsome he has become over the years. It turns out that he left to support his mum and to escape from his dad, Fiona knows what that past entailed and how he used to come to and stay with her every night, but she still finds it hard to accept.
The next day Connor goes to a rocky cliff where people go to jump into the sea and hangout together, but what he doesn’t expect to see is Lachlan and Fiona there together, he likes it even less when he throws her off the cliff when he sees Connor, as Connor dives off and finds Fiona, she explains her and Lachlans engagement, this is where Connor becomes more determined to set the wrongs right and get Fiona back, but will he succeed, or will the past be something they can’t overcome? This is a short story which will suck you in and keep you guessing until the end.

Moonlight Whisper is a novella that can be devoured in an afternoon, which is handy as once i started reading i didn’t want to put it down. The main characters, Fiona and Connor, were childhood sweethearts and best friends who were forced to split up when Connor followed his dream to play football. Fiona was crushed but eventually chose to move on. Of course Connor returns, but he finds Fiona with a new life and a new man.
This story is a feel-good romance that will have you hooked. This isn’t my first book by Amy Mckinley and in my experience she does not disappoint, and she certainly doesn’t here. The chemistry between Fiona and Connor is there from the start and you just know that they are meant to be together. As is the way with all good stories, these things never run smoothly, and these are the type of characters that you are rooting for throughout the whole book.
Flipping The Bird: A Paranormal Chick Lit Novel by Carrie Pulkinen is the first book in the Shift Creek series. This is another fantastically written book by an author who has firmly established herself as one of my favourites. As I have come to expect from her books I found this book highly entertaining, well written and with amazing characters that I instantly liked! I was utterly hooked the moment I started reading and flew through the book much quicker than I wanted as I wanted to keep reading this for as long as possible. I loved the connection between the two main characters. I found myself smiling at them on more than one occasion as they tried to solve the problems developing around them. This is a brilliant book and such a good start to a new series. I would highly recommend this book and also this author!

Moonlit Whisper: An Irish Romance is a fantastic contemporary romance novella by Amy McKinley. This novella was previously published in With Love From Venice (Voyages Of The Heart Anthology). Amy McKinley is an author that I’ve now been a huge fan of for a couple of years and it’s always an excitement to get to read more of her work. I absolutely loved this novella and devoured it in one sitting as I just didn’t want to put it down. I could easily have read a full length novel containing the characters Fiona and Connor as I adored their story and could have read so much more about them. This is a second chance romance. Connor and Fiona were childhood sweethearts when Connor’s mum moved him away from his home in Ireland to a new life in America. Now Connor is back in Ireland to complete his final year of university, only Fiona is now engaged to Connor’s former best friend. This was a great read that I was hooked by in the very first chapter and as the author is such a fantastic storyteller, I was hooked throughout desperate to know how Connor and Fiona’s story ended. Did they get the HEA that they both deserved? Can Fiona forgive Connor for leaving her? Well, I’m not going to spoil the story for you. Give this great novella, (and this fantastic author) a chance and lose yourself in Connor and Fiona’s story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, lighthearted paranormal romantic comedy novel. The authors descriptive narrative really bought these quirky, likeable and relatable characters to life and I could not help but feel invested in their story. Alice Crawford is a salvage artist in Texas, who is also a crow shifter, whilst Donovan Drake is a Warlock and they both find themselves in Shift Creek. Alice believes the sexy Warlock can solve all her problems but Donovan has many secrets including the fact that his connection to Shift Creek runs deeper than anyone knows. When he feels himself falling for the feisty bird shifter he knows he needs to be careful. This fairly short story was definitely action packed, full of romance, comedy and mystery, all of which had me hooked from start to finish. I loved the developing relationship between the main characters and the story was heartwarming with some real laugh out loud moments. An enjoyable and engaging read and a great start to a new series.

Moonlit Whisper is a short and sweet second chance at love novelette that can be read as a standalone story. Fiona (Fio) is engaged to childhood friend Lach but when Connor returns from living across the pond Fio is torn between her new love and her old childhood sweetheart. Connor had to leave Dublin to live with his Mum but he hated leaving behind Fio and he definitely never forgot her. When Connor returns as a fourth year transfer student at Trinity to play football he is determined to have Fio in his arms again and this time for ever. Fio also never forgot the boy who used to climb through her bedroom window and the more time they spend together with Fio tutoring Connor the closer they become. This was an enjoyable and engaging short read with some great characters. The chemistry between Fiona and Connor really came across in the story as did the competition and tension between Connor and Lach. The narrative flowed well and I felt immersed in the storyline, so much so that I could not put the book down.

Anything I read by Amy Mckinley is awesome. This short story was probably one of my favorites. This was such a sweet book of lost love reclaimed. I love how easy Amy’s stories come together. She can instantly get me involved with any story and I can’t put it down till it’s finished. I ate this book up and can’t wait till I get the next book she writes.

Book Review: Hell Hath No Furry (Book 2) Author: Naomi Valkyrie FOUR STARS Book 2 in the Life is Hell series follows Sheridan, the friend of Delilah. Sheridan is a bit on the wild side. She loves to cook. This book also has a perceptive cat, an unknown stalker and a mysterious edge to it. There is also a F/F relationship. Good story line and really does pick up from book one. Absolutely love this series and this author! Just like the first book I did not want to put this book down and stayed up way too late reading! This story follows Sheridan and picks up pretty close to where the first book left off. I wouldn’t say you have to read the first book but I highly recommend it. I loved reading about all the old and new characters and getting to know more of Sheridan’s story! I cannot wait to read the next book!

Tamara Ferguson once again brings us a wonderful happily ever after story. A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon is the 4th book in her Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock N Sweet series. Like many of her stories, it takes place in Crystal Rock, with overlapping characters and locations. However, the book can be enjoyed as a stand alone. This book focuses on Mia and Noah, in their junior and senior years of high school. It is a clean sweet romantic story about finding your first love and perhaps soul mate in your high school sweetheart. The characters are all great, like always. I love Ferguson’s writing style- as its very relatable and real life stories. This book has a happily ever after. I recommend this book for a quick good read.

The Kissing Bough (Forbidden Loves) By Madelynne Ellis
This was a really quick read but it gave us a lot. We find out that Viola has been wrongly accused of a scandal but the town and her family won’t listen to her side of the story. She is kept at home except once a year at Christmas she is allowed to be escorted out by her brother, who I might add does not actually do any sort of escorting, he just treats her badly. Every year she holds out hope that a man will show up that wants to marry her. I don’t normally read books that are set in this Era but I found myself completely intrigued by this story. I enjoyed Will and Percy’s banter and they also have a unique situation and are looking for a specific woman for their situation. This book definitely has hot and steamy moments. This is an adult only read. I recommend this book.
I didn’t get to read all the books in the Irresistible Christmas: Pets to the Rescue box set, I only got the chance to read Two Hearts’ Christmas Rescue by Tamara Ferguson. It was overall a very good read. It was entertaining, and funny, sweet and romantic. I loved the characters and especially the pets. The pets and animals had so much personality I want them as pets of my own! However I feel like more detail could have been added. Everything moved very fast, and it seemed like things happened when there was no clear timeline for them to have happened. But besides that it was a great read for me! Ferguson never disappoints.

Moonlit whisper written by Amy McKinley is a short romance story about first loves and second chances. I simply loved this story it was sweet and innocent. The characters where well written and the way they played off each other was awesome. Ms. McKinley has a new fan in me and I cannot wait to dig into her books.
They were next-door neighbors who relied and each other. Her life was great but his life sucked with an abusive father. He had to move with his mom and left her. Now he is back and he wants her back. Will he win the girl back he left years ago? Has she moved on?
It has been a long time since I have read something by Tamara Ferguson but as expected, she did not disappoint with a Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon. While this is the fourth story in the Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet romance series, it is the first I have read. This is a great standalone read. I enjoyed the story from the start, finding the young characters to be sweet and enjoyable. I loved the way the author wrote chapters from both Noah and Mia’s perspective. While so many authors use this writing style, something about this felt unique. I enjoyed the roles of the supporting characters almost as much as both Mia and Noah and really felt drawn to Amanda, as subtle as her character was. I would give a Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon 4 out of 5 stars.

This story is a historical fairytale in this modern-day tale. It is a short sweet story that is fast-paced and engaging. The characters are fully developed and keep the story moving. The story has heated moments. Viola is the special woman that has Christmas Eve free because her aunt has her as a kept woman. There are two cousins who need a special woman to have for their sexual desires. Viola happens to be this woman this special night. Will the two cousins have their desires met or will Viola be a handful? You will have read this book to find out what happens.
I really enjoyed the first of Brooke May’s Heartstrings novel so when I saw this was coming soon I knew it would be a one-click. The concept is really a nice and refreshing spin on the paranormal romance trope. I like how believable the stories could be and still has the air of some magical moments. Faida takes the spotlight in this one obviously but she is such a different character than Aiko and I was really drawn to her as a person. I found myself wrapped up in her story late into the night. I thoroughly look forward to seeing what other characters we get in the upcoming novels. If you love paranormal romance with some hints of comedy and sweet love moments this is not only the book but the series for you too!

This is the first book I’ve read by the author and it’s a great short read. It does have MMF so if you don’t like that sort of thing this isn’t for you.
Viola has left a mark on her family name. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time can do that to a person. The quote I chose for Viola is: “You both… You both wish to kiss me?”
Percy wants someone who will love both him and his cousin. He wants someone to accept both of them. He doesn’t care about anyone else. The quote I chose for Percy is: “I’m not much for singing.”
Will the Lord and the one who has to find a wife. He wants a wife that will accept him and Percy. He doesn’t want a normal wife. The quote I chose for Will is: “All sorts of tongues will be wagging if you don’t stop staring at her.”
Highly recommended for Erotica Historical Romance lovers.

Now Lord Ricborough and his cousin Percy Gilling are looking for a different kind of woman, a woman they can share. This kind of woman is hard to find but they think they have found her when they see Viola standing there so beautiful and if the rumors they have heard are correct she is just their kind of woman. All VIola wants is a man to want her for her and not some stupid rumor that isn’t even true. Will Viola give up on finding a husband and settle for 2 men who will do anything for her? Read The Kissing Bough to find out!
Faida is the second book in the Heartstrings series by Brooke May. This is a short sweet and fun paranormal romance story. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone. The main characters where well written and I loved the little quirks they had.
Faida’s has had disappointment and now is her time to shine. Jaded from centuries of helping humans find love and the betrayals of her past haunt her present. She has formed and icy exterior around her heart.
When Faida meets Robert Peters, she realizes they are two pees in a pod with both their hearts frozen. Robert knows his own betrayals the only time he loosens up is when he is with his daughter.
With the help of his daughter can she thaw heart enough to see the love that’s right in front of him? Will Robert realize what is right in front of him before it’s too late?
I loved reading this short story and cant wait to see what Ms. May has in-store for us….

Two Hearts Christmas Rescue is another great read by Tamara Ferguson. We get to meet Amanda’s friend, Kinley, and Jeff’s friend, Jake. Two Hearts Christmas Rescue tops my charts already this year.
Kinley runs the Animal Shelter in town. When the Holidays are around the corner she’s starting to feel lonely. The quote I chose for Kinley is: “You’ll have to come by sometime. Maybe I’ll have a little get together before Christmas when I’m more settled in. I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year since I’ve had the cabin built. I decided to put aside the past because that’s what my parents would want. It will be the first time I’ve celebrated the holidays since they’ve passed away.”
Jake is back in town on a mission. When he runs into a girl from his past things change. He finds himself thinking her often and he likes it. The quote I chose for Jake is: “He did. But he had some injuries which prevented him from continuing, so he’s retired now with one of my former unit members, who’s a wounded warrior. Great stories but my favorite is Pets to the Rescue. I have to admit I’m a HUGE fan of Tamara Ferguson so I’m always looking for books or anthologies with that have her work features in them. This book was another 5 star read for me. I’ve been a big fan since I started reading the two hearts wounded warrior series. I feel like all the books by this author tie into each other and I love it. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and these characters are about to see why. Jake and Kinley were both at The Crystal Rock Tap one night. They couldn’t get each other out of their minds. Jake had a huge crush on her many years ago but now that they have both grown up what will happen? They are going to be seeing a lot of each other since Jake is there to help out with the animals. Will these two finally get the happy ending they deserve?

I really enjoy this authors work. The first book was good and this one did not disappoint. Millicent and Sheridan are an interesting match. They have this connection that you can feel through the pages. They gave me relationship envy a little. Being a demon isn’t easy and loving a human even harder. There’s always danger. Always someone wanting what you have. The author wrote these characters well and made the plot interesting. Reading will never get old as long as we have authors who think outside the normal. Who give the spice along with the unimaginable. The story has a little bit of magic to it. That smooth flow that makes you not put it down.

This is another sweet and romantic story by Tamara Ferguson. I really love her stories as she really bring the characters to life and the emotion she puts into her books is beautiful.
In this story we meet Mia and Noah. They are teenagers in love but with Mia’s father not allowing them to be together and Noah leaving for the Air Force they go their separate ways. Is young love everlasting?
Fast forward 6 years and Mia is finally away from her controlling father. She has a successful career and she travels back to Crystal Rock. While she is there she bumps into Noah again. Have the feelings between them lasted all these years? Did Noah stop loving Mia or did he carry his love for her all these years? Can Mia learn to trust him again and give them a chance or are they destined to have another blue Christmas without each other and alone.
