This novel is a Thriller and is just under 200 pages. This story follows Gabriel, a psychiatric healer, Consuela, his wife, and Juana, his mother. His mother is the Superior of the Nunnery and the Orphanage. He tries to counsel the children at the orphanage and when Gabriel discovers children come up missing with no explanation, he starts asking questions that his mother does not like. His wife pushes him to discover these children are being sacrificed. This ritual is done to make Mother Superior and her nuns immortal. Then the unthinkable happens. Dear mother has kidnapped their four-year-old son. This is most definitely one of those books that will have you on the edge of your seat.
